I am grateful for the salon being so close in East Boca. Great location for walking around too. You can't beat the price for the high-quality service and products. The owners are always so kind and do the best they can to support you with an appointment, BUT I recommend making an appointment advance, especially for the ladies in high demand like Sandra and Betty. If you're busy professional like me definitely get the dazzle dry. It last forever and it dries fast. Also I highly recommend the deluxe pedicure. It's absolutely perfect. I like that they play fun music and they don't play the news so you don't get stressed out when you watch it! Keep the zen going! read more

After doing a lot of research, I made an appointment with Tina. That day, I got a call to change the time. When I confirmed that my appointment was with Tina, I was told it was not. The person on the phone told me that the owner changes appointments around to fit people in. Be forewarned! They may change the time and the nail technician on you! read more

we moved to Boca Raton and I was looking for a good nail salon. Some friend recommended me to go to Nail Depot. I came and was served immediately by very nice girl - Elizabeth. I asked for Dip powder for my nails and was informed that it will be $55. (My previous salon in Pompano charged $45). She did a perfect and very thorough job and I gave her a large tip. The next day a top layer (clear polish) started to peal from few nails. I was little bit upset but decided against a bad review. After 2-3 days all my nails started to chip here and there. 10 days after the visit three of my nails totally came off! Usually dip powder lasts for 4-4.5 weeks, but in my case it was only 11 days. I have no complaints to Elizabeth. I think that the products they use are really bad quality or probably expired. Very upset! read more

I normally don't do this. Everyone was very nice and I'm not picky at all. I have awful cuticles and I'm not even picky about that. It was my first time here and I went on the website and I specifically chose Stephanie based on reviews and photos of her work. When I got there to my surprise I was with a different nail tech nech named Carmen. They gave me no explanation as to why this changed. It was partly my fault I didn't say anything but they should have acknowledged or said something....again I'm not picky and I just needed my nails done because of my profession. I'm an esthetician. Again I said I have horrible cuticles and like I said I'm not picky. I just needed them short and basic color for work. Needless to say she tore my cuticles to shred. I was bleeding from three nails the entire time I was there. Being in the beauty industry I still felt bad and paid and tipped 20%. That is my fault. I should have said something but I hate making people feel bad. The next day I was back to back with facials and my nails were burning. And now I'm covered in hang nails. Everyone was very nice but because of not getting the person I requested and bleeding for 24 hours and having hangnails I will not be back. read more

Tina is my hands down favorite Nail Professional I have ever met. I always felt I needed to get tips to have a real sense of what nails should look like. I've come in a few times for pedicures and liked the service so I decided to get a full acrylic set for an upcoming wedding. The nail tech who did my nails the first time was new and sat me in the chair for 2.5 hours and butchered my hands and nails. I left extremely disappointed but decided to call the next day. I was flying out of town for a week and let the owner know I could not come back in for a week and sent pictures. He agreed they were not up to their standards and told me to come back in when I was in town the next Saturday. I had a different nail tech named Tina and she was absolutely amazing! She not only worked magic on my nails but left me feeling confident to continue coming back to Nail Depot in the future. I was surprised that I had to pay full price again to the establishment for this service to fix my nails. So that is the only reason I take away one star. I will post a picture of my old nails Vs new nails done by the amazing Tina! Ask for her if she's there because she's great! Also, get the Spa Deluxe Pedicure if you want a massage, lotion and hot towel with your pedicure. The basic pedicure does not include the massage or lotion. read more

I'm honestly surprised by all of the great reviews here but maybe it was the service I got. I came in last Wednesday for a Gel-X with Joanne and it was pretty clear she had not done it enough, she used a lot of gel, fumbled with the lamp, and made them way too thick, which is not how Gel-X is supposed to look. She also left all the gel junk buildup under all the nails, that's supposed to get cleaned up. They did look okay when I left but the worst part was that she put the nail extensions on my cuticle beds, which caused extreme pain the rest of that day/night. So bad to the point I was crying and made an immediate appointment somewhere else to get them fixed/filed off my cuticles. I woke up in the middle of the night with them throbbing in pain it was excruciating. At $85 this is pretty unacceptable and I paid more to get them fixed. I've never had such a painful nail experience or result. Unfortunately, I didn't say anything when I was there, I thought they would stop hurting, but they didn't. I'm so grateful for the salon that was able to clean them up, fix them, and relieve the pain from the cuticles. Unfortunately, the damage was done and my one finger is now damaged and they were all lifting after 1 week, so I got them removed. I will never go to Nail Depot again. read more

I chose to have my nails done here twice because I feel safe due to their excellent preparation for Covid. Very clean, social distancing, plexi glass on stations, etc. But I won't be going back due to the pain I experienced during my next gen dip manicure. Although she was apologetic, it really hurts and I'm worried it will get infected. *editing 6 days later to show a photo of the poor work. Nails are chipped and broken. read more

I had an absolutely amazing time here! It's hard to find a fabulous/amazing nail salon but this place is just that. Natasha (I found her on Instagram-she is the best and can do designs, I'm going to do marble nails next time) did my nails, I wanted a simple sparkly and pink. She helped me find the color and gave me the best manicure I've had to date. Josh did my pedicure and he did a wonderful job. My feet were dry and I needed the dead skin off but normally it tickles and the person stops but he did it in a way where I could handle it and now my feet look and feel amazing! this place is the best! My nail salon had understandablely been closed during the shut down. But, when other salons began to open, my nail salon of 3 years were open for just a week before they closed again for vacation. So, I tried The Nail Depot, on Palmetto Park Road in East Boca..I was really impressed how clean the dalon was and how clients are kept apart. Also, there was plastic partitions between the nail technicians and the clients, including wearing a mask. I feel very safe. My nail technician has been Victoria for the past 2 months. She does an amazing job, she's always on time and I feel comfortable with her. I have never been to a nail salon running on time. Im extremely impressed and happy with Victoria. Thank you, Victoria. This is by far the nicest nail salon I've ever been to. I am a florida native and have spent the better of the last 10 years searching for an artist that I really love and after many trials and tribulations I'm thrilled to say that Joanne checks all the boxes! She is extremely talented, is able to achieve the exact shape that I want (in my experience it seems most people have a hard time with coffin nails, she doesn't!), she is able to take inspiration from the photos I bring in and put her profession twist on them, she is friendly, kind, accommodating, and an amazing artist. I have found the nail salon and the artist I've been looking for, and will now be a loyal client of Joanne! read more

I've been going to Nail Depot for a little while. I will admit I am especially fussy when it comes to my nails. I would recommend making an appointment but they are accommodating even if you don't have one. They're very clean and professional.

I called to make an appointment and I was asked for a $10 deposit. I've been getting my nails done for years and I've never been asked for a deposit from a salon. I've never been here but it made me uneasy because I don't feel comfortable giving my card information away over the phone, for the gentleman to charge however much he wanted. Let me know if that's normal or if that's happened to you, please! I just thought that was kind of odd. UPDATE: I wasn't going to respond to the comment below... but I made my appointment (just for an acrylic fill) 2 hours before close. Which gives plenty of time for that service. I've asked multiple people if asking for a deposit is standard practice and it's not. read more

Kept getting texts from here telling me how clean and sanitary they were since reopening, how covid-conscious, etc. sometimes videos accompanied the texts showing how they sanitized the place, etc. Then I got a text saying they do great nail art for Xmas, so I finally decided to give them a try. Immediately, I can see this place is just DIRTY, messy, not clean looking at all. I check in for a mani-pedi with nail art. I show the guy a picture of what I want on my nails ( a Xmas bow on 2 nails). They sit me down and the lady proceeds to electric file off virtually all of my polish, as well as a good portion of the top of my nails. Then she soaks my fingernails in 2 bowls of acetone for about 5 minutes, then much more electric filing with several different heads. I felt like she had taken off about half the top layer of my nails. It was actually burning as she was doing this. I knew this was just the worst possible thing she could be doing to my nails and was just hoping for it to be over soon. Finally she starts actually using the dip. I've been doing powder dip for a long time and have had it done at many salons and know how it's done. She didn't use any base powder or any top powder. Just 2 coats of the main color. My nails are definitely not hard like they should be, and I can see through them. Bad job. Additionally, I had one nail that the tip came off while she was filing and she never offered to put a new tip on to even that nail out with the others, and I had one nail that was a little chipped and lopsided and she didn't fix it properly. Then, when she's all done, she says, ok, now you can go to the lady who does the nail art and she's going to file off the 2 nails you want done and start from scratch on them. Uh, NO! So I go to pay, and they say, oh , do you want your pedicure? Again, no, not at this point. Every salon understands you get the pedicure first, your toes have time to dry while your getting your manicure. Also, they wrap your nails while you get the pedicure so they don't have to file your nails like that. Ridiculous. I can also add in terms of cleanliness, each station was dirty. And my manicurist certainly didn't seem to be sanitizing anything she was using in between clients. Wouldn't go back here if you paid me. I really hate leaving bad reviews, but this place deserves it. read more

For too long I have not posted a review about Boca Nail Depot. The former owner rose was very strangely rude to me for no reason, & I've read on yelp also rude to other customers, but this new owner, a man, is even worse. A nasty person with bad attitude who when I was a few minutes late, for the first time mind you, wanted me to leave & come back in four hours?? So I didn't go back for a long time but one of my favorite nail techs worked there with her daughter & they were great! So I went back & kept my mouth shut. But this last insult is the last time. That new owner needs to take a course in customer appreciation & learn some manners. Him & his GF who is there most of the time are horrid people! It defeats the whole purpose to be stressed out over getting your nails & toes done! This is a veritable nest of vipers gossipers & mediocre work. I would highly recommend going somewhere else where at least you will be treated kindly & Get good services. I'd give them no stars if I could read more

DO NOT GO HERE. They are super rude and do not have good products. I got a gelish manicure Thursday and a day later they turned brownish. I specifically asked my nail tech, Stephanie, if this would happen with a light color she said no. I was really upset since it was my first time coming here and heard so many good things about this place. I came in Tuesday after hurricane Irma passed to ask them to fix them. The receptionist Brianna was super rude and said I had to come back tomorrow cause it takes 45 minutes to do a polish change lol!!! This girl is delusional and she was rude. Another person who actually cared about their business would not have hired her as a receptionist for this place. If you want your nails to turn poop brown a day after you go here then come here, if you want your nails to turn out amazing go to artisan nails although a little bit pricey they are so worth it and I have never had a complaint. Update: Just found out the receptionist Briana is the owner's daughter no wonder she felt entitled to treat clients like crap. Her mother should have taught her a little better. I rarely leave a review, even when I am disappointed with a service. However, I just had a pedicure and was misled when told to select polish. They do not tell you that there are certain polishes that are more expensive. While the person who did the service was very nice, she cut me when trimming the cuticle, leaving it to bleed and painful. When I went to the counter to pay, the gentleman manning the desk told me that the price for the pedicure was $37 dollars as they used non-chip polish. I was appalled. When I explained that I was told to select a polish from that area, I was not told that the polish was different from the others. My service was maybe 30 minutes long. If you are going to charge $37 dollars for a pedicure, it should be a special service with extra massage time. There are many salons to choose from. Stay away from this one. read more
