I just got back from this salon and a beautiful job was done by Crystal for my mani/pedi! I came across this woman name Brit who gave this great place a terrible review!! I was there when the incident occurred and I must say that woman Brit who posted seemed very angry and confrontational! She has falsified the facts the manager is awesome and very fair to all her customers! I think she was upset about $5 for some unfathomable reason and seemed irate and rather petty and cheap! I have been having my mani/pedi at Crystal's for almost a year And have been very satisfied with each visit. I find the salon to always been very clean and everyone there extremely friendly. Yami is my nail tech and with each visit she makes sure that my nails look perfect. I appreciate the time and effort Yami spends to make sure that I am totally satisfied, she does a beautiful job. I usually go elsewhere when in Boca, but decided to try something and noticed the stellar Yelp reviews. When I got there I realized they didn't have dazzle dry polish, which I prefer becaues it stays on way longer. Good lesson for me to ask in the future when booking an appointment. The 2 women who did manis and pedis for my daughter and i could have been nicer. And my daughter was a huge fan of the massage chair when we got pedicures. The manis and pedis took about twice as long as they do back home...my daughter commented she had quite the long massage since it took so long. And while my toes still look good a week later, my mani chipped within a few days. There's so many nail salons to choose from in this area so based on the amount of time and chipped nails I'd try something else next time. read more

If I can give it 0 stars I would. Went last week to get my feet done with my boyfriend & the service was fine, they had a special if you refer a friend you get 5$ off your next service. that is all that they said on their paper. last week when i was paying the lady with the pink hair, the "manager" apparently demanded tip, not as a gesture but as if I had to. First thing that really threw me off and made me not want to go back. Today I went because one of the nails chipped off and I was like perfect I can use the 5$ credit I have if I have to pay. I didn't even think I would have to pay at all since it was a week and it was not because of my care for my toes but of THEIR work. I ask if I can use my credit and they say no, show me a WHOLE separate paper saying there has to be a minimum of 20$. was NEVER told that and they did not promote that. all the promotion said on the wall was that it was 5$ off your service. So they didn't honor what they promoted, demanded tip and didn't take accountability for their work and how it got messed up after a week! Left without anything and I'll rather never go back. Highly do not recommend and you can get better service elsewhere. Also my cuticles grew back in days after they did it??? And the paint job was not good. read more

What a beautiful nail bar! The service was great, fast, and accommodating. My husbund gets his hair cut next door at Victory barber shop, so I decided to book a mani/pedi instead of waiting for him between our appointments. I got a gel pedicure , which was wonderful! The color I picked was called "color is making waves" it was so cute! I'm sorry I didn't get her name, but the young woman who was pampering me was fast and meticulous! I was shocked and disappointed with the service I received at the salon. In previous visits, they never used a drill to remove my nail polish, which made me return but this time, the technician CiCi brought out the drill despite my request not to use it. When I politely asked if it was possible to complete my service without the drill, she became argumentative and belittled me for not paying enough. I don't set the prices for my services so I was extremely confused. She then proceeded to handle my hands roughly. I then asked if another tech could finish me. She proceeded to strike me with a dirty towel, displaying extreme aggression and saying, "Fine I'm done with you!" Feeling disrespected and appalled by such unprofessional behavior, I decided to leave with unfinished nails. This experience, coupled with her mistreatment of another elderly customer, made it clear that the salon lacks consistency in its service quality. I will not be returning. I really wanted to press assault charges against the technician but left instead. read more

They are RUDE in there, they will speak their language with each other, talking bad about the customers. Telling people how they don't have time for the service. I am very impressed with this place! I got a dip manicure and gel pedicure, everything looks great. The salon is very relaxing. The woman helping me (Sandy I believe) really took her time when massaging my feet and did a great job. She also was pretty efficient with things that don't need to take that long. I felt like she was quick and slow at the appropriate times. A big plus for me is that she was very competent with short nails. My nails are usually very short and bitten and many salons can be pretty rude about it. She was so kind and understanding and didn't make me feel bad at all, did not badger me to get extensions. I have visited Crystal Nail Bar twice in the last 3 weeks and must say I am impressed with their consciousness when it pertains to the health and safety of both their customers and employees. Not only do my nails look spectacular and last forever with a gel manicure, but they choose not to do provide acrylics because of the health hazard to people and the damage to our environment. Crystal was my grandmothers nail tech for quite sometime. Crystal made a mistake with her nail appointment and decided to berate her while doing her nails to the point where my grandmother was physically shaking. Crystal then shouted at her to sit still. She is verbally abusive to the elderly and has a reputation of making mistakes with appointment times. FIND ANOTHER SALON that will respect you and appreciate your patronage. read more

I'm not sure why my previous review was removed other than the business owner not wanting prospective clients to read negative reviews. Since this is a platform to enlighten others I simply wish for someone to avoid the horrible experience I had. I ended up with toenail fungus on all ten toes and my physician advised it was a result of unsanitary instruments and spa jets not being properly cleaned and sanitized between customers. I never contracted nail fungus until going to this salon. The owner is extremely rude & disrespectful to the customers and talks and laughs about all of them since it's in a different language. I strongly feel that businesses should be accountable for their practices, especially in the service industry. This is an honest review based upon personal experience and given I appreciate reading negative reviews as well as positive ones, I feel it is important for readers to be made aware of these experiences both good and bad. read more

My girl Crystal is the best. My gel mani and reg pedi is $56 lasts almost three weeks. They have a lot of different colors to choose from. The salon is so clean, they have the plastic in the pedi sinks, they keep the place immaculate. Highly recommend this place!! read more

I tried this place because it had good reviews. Seems like they have regulars who get the good technicians (I'm assuming they're good). I made an appointment online with a specific person who had high ratings. When I arrived, I had been reassigned to a newbie who was very inexperienced and slow. She made many mistakes (e.g., "forgot" to remove my old gel on my fingernails until halfway through the pedicure, messed up both my toenails trying to put my shoes on over the toe separators). She was apparently brand new. Meanwhile other clients are in and out with the experienced techs. I'm aware new people need experience, but I do not appreciate being switched when I specifically made an appointment with someone else. Suggestion: offer a discount for knowingly using new technicians. I will never go there again. BTW they also require masks. Not my choice! read more

I went to Crystal nails for the first time 10 days ago. I thought l had found a great place and that crystal was very sweet . Unfortunately within a week nails chipped that should last a minimum of 3-4 weeks . One chipped then 2 more. When l called she seemed ok to repair it but no apology. Went back today not only no apologies alluded it was me. Kept taking people ahead of me because she got busy but she had called ME to come in and then ultimately did a rush job...not nice at all and when l mentioned it she just walked away. I have had these nails done elsewhere and it lasted 5 weeks without chipping. I would think she would have at least apologized and tried harder to keep me as a customer. I will not be returning. Maybe it's me but l hate when people do not stand behind their product or workmanship. I believe there are only 3 nail techs so make sure to have an appointment before going. My experience was very pleasant. Heard about a new nail place from my Nextdoor App. I was looking for a nail salon close to me so I thought I would check it out. So glad I did. The people there are so nice and went out of their way to please me. They did a beautiful job. They also use an organic sugar scrub on the legs for the basic pedicure, very nice. Super clean. Grand open wing specials until the end of the month. They took $10.00 off my gel mani/pedi! Will be bringing my 91 yr old mom there as they are gentle and sweet. read more

I did a powder dip manicure and called ahead to let them know I was interested in a manicure with multiple grey/dark colors, and when I arrived they'd pre-selected a handful of colors I might like - so thoughtful!
