I only ever come here!! They are speedy, but not too speedy, and I've only ever had to wait for service once: It was the July 3rd and everyone was under the impression that they'd be closed the 4th, so everyone decided to get their nails done that day! The service here depends on the technician working on you, but I feel that is true at about any place you go to, whether it be food or a massage. I've never been dissatisfied, though. I always get gel nails, and not counting grow out, they always last as long as I need them too. I enjoy getting pedicures here, too. I've only had my brow waxed once here, but it was...like having hair ripped from my face. Isn't it the same everywhere? The free WiFi is nice. I've seen the autoclave (its by the wax chair) and I've seen some technicians take their tools out of autoclave bags. I've watched technicians clean pedicure tubs after rendering service. The establishment is always clean and bright. The reason I don't give 5 stars is because, yes, there have been times when my cuticles have bled or have been sore. I always chalk it up to my being a weeny because it hasn't been so awful I'd consider not returning. read more

It kills me to leave this review mostly because I love a group of the women/men that work here. But, here it goes. I have gone here for a few years now, loyally, every week like clockwork. Spent thousands of dollars at this place and tipped generously on top of it. I kept going back because the attention to detail of a good portion of the employees. Unfortunately today the owner, Sue, disrespected me for the final time. I called today and asked how long is the wait for a fill (didn't try and book an appt due to being completely humiliated for trying to do that in the past) and Sue told me 15 mins. I replied with "ok I'm on my way". Keep in mind this is 2 hours prior to closing. I proceeded to show up (12 mins later) expecting to sit and wait for about 15-20 mins. I walked in and was greeted by one of the girls and she said "fill?" I said "yes", she replied with "oh it's a LONG wait". I looked over at Sue and said "Sue I just called and you told me it was 15 mins?". She looked back at me and said "I thought I made it clear we do not take appts on Sunday!!" In the most heinous rude tone. I was baffled. I looked at her (mind you everyone was staring at me and it was a full house) and stated at no point did I even ask to make an appt, I asked what their wait currently was. She proceeded to completely ignore me and keep working, which in turn made me turn around and walk out. Letting her know that was the last time she will be seeing me. Here's the deal Sue, you don't know who you are talking to. I have fed you so much business and now I will tell everyone I've fed you to take their business elsewhere. To everyone reading this, not only did this "business owner" humiliate a LOYAL client that drove 35 mins out of my way to give them business every week, she also just opened a huge bag of worms. I absolutely loved my nail tech. I wish I could give this less than a star. I went there to get an ombré which was absolutely beautiful. Kayla has always done an amazing job at pleasing me and giving me exactly what I want. A couple days of having that ombré it started to turn yellow. I broke a nail quickly and finally decided I was tired of having ombré nails as well as a broken nail. I went in to get it changed I was charged to cover the yellow. I was told to talk to the owner and have I yet to be able to let the owner know. It has been the worst way I've been treated by a nail salon. I can't believe this nail salon only has a 3 star rating, to each their own I guess. I was nervous to come here because of the low reviews so I had to come review this. First off I only gave it a shot in the first place because it was the only place around open on a Sunday and let me just say I'm so glad I did. They do an awesome job and both times I went they did exactly what I asked for and didn't give me the run around of why I shouldn't do that like my experiences with other places. I get in and get out which is good for me as well. They always have a lot of staff, they are very nice, and even give you little water bottles. I won't go anywhere else and if your trying to choose between the 4 nail salons in the same area at least give this one a shot especially if your getting your nails done. read more

The wait was ridiculous when I was there. I got coffin shaped acrylics and the ends are all different widths. Very inconsistent. The thickness is pretty even and good. If they spend more time shaping it would be perfect! I got holo on 4 nails and it is beautiful! but the holo does not cover all of the nail. There is black showing. I didn't get plastic nails just a manicure. Not so good. They started pealing the next day and after a week mostly all nails were pealing.

I went here today with my daughter and was not impressed. It was 11:30, they were already busy which was fine we could wait but we were sat at the manicure station right away. Great, but it wasn't because we ended up waiting 15 minutes for someone to even talk to us. We were literally about to get up and walk out when someone finally came over. Then, they kept pushing gel polish after I already said no 3 times. The manicure was super rushed and she never once asked what I wanted. She squared out my nails which were obviously round when I came in so I told her to round them out. She hurriedly did it but one nail was super crooked so I told her and she started grinding down that nail aggressively. I just gave up saying anything after that. I had 2 colors out and she said which one, so I told her one was for my hands the other for my feet. She says, oh you want pedicure too? Uh, yes that's what I asked for when I walked in. So she paints my nails quickly and scoots me over to the pedicure chair. I thought my nails were bad but my toes are even worse. They are uneven and slanted. All in all, I have pretty nail polish on uneven nails. At least my daughter's looked pretty and that lady did a good job. Oh, and it took 50 minutes total for a mani/pedi, including being asked for payment while I was still drying under the lights. I felt like cattle being herded when I just went in for a relaxing experience with my daughter. I won't be back. read more

SHELLAC NAILS HERE ARE HORRIBLE!!!!! I am a shellac nail addict who recently moved to the area from up North. This place seemed super busy so figured it must be good! First time here, my gel nails ALL 10 fingers lifted in one week - in the same exact spot, at the bottom. Figured there are a lot of staff members and maybe I got a newbie, so got another gel manicure with another lady, and again..one week later, ALL NAILS LIFTED AT THE BOTTOM ‍‍‍. Waste of money!! I guess I was naive to think I could go anywhere and get an awesome gel mani that would last 2-3 weeks if not more. There may be some employees here that know what they're doing, but I'm not going to keep throwing money at this place in hopes that I find that person. As soon as you enter the establishment you will smell the chemical or solution products they use for their clients. I can't believe people can stand the toxic smell inside. If you have asthma or COPD this is not the place you want your nails done. They done hood or anything to remove the smells. This place is health hazard. read more

I cannot recommend this merchant. I have tried their service twice and both times I have left injured, been charged for unrequested services, watched them pull out tools from drawers that did not appear sanitized, and paid full price. The first time I was injured was in December 2010, the woman who worked on my nails dug deep under my nail causing my finger to bleed. She apologized, cleaned the injury with alcohol and continued to finish my nails. That was my first experience with the establishment. Not wanting to immediately judge them based on one poor experience, I returned in January 2011 to again get my nails done and again I was injured. This time the injury was to my cuticle, about 30% of my cuticle on one finger was cut back to the point where it bled. The injury was severe enough that throughout the remainder of the appointment, the woman had to periodically wipe the blood away with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol. I again was charged full price for the service. Besides the injuries received, both times I visited, I also received service that I did not request but was charged for. The first time this happened I asked why I was being charged more than what was listed on the price board and the woman informed me that I also received a special hand scrub. This additional unrequested service amounted to 25% of the original cost of the service. Furthermore, compared to other nail parlors, the attention to my hands appeared to be no different so I am not clear what is so special about the hand scrub. Along with the above concerns, I also watched during each visit as the tools that they used on my nails were pulled out of a drawer in what looked like a un-sanitized state. During both visits the women dropped the tools on the ground, yet still continued to use them. Ultimately, two injuries, a lack of sanitation, and being charged twice for unrequested services has left me with the opinion that one could receive better and more honest service elsewhere. read more

I will not be returning. I have given Lacey nails multiple chances to redeem themselves and I am always disappointed when I leave. I went in to get a fill with my colored acrylics and the lady proceeded to remove every nail telling me I needed a whole new set. Not true. They were not that bad and she could have easily done what I had asked. I walked out spending twice as much as I had intended to and I was not even asked once if what she was going to do was okay with me. Terrible customer service, two thumbs down. read more

Recently went to this salon and got a manicure & pedicure. Manicure was just ok. Pedicure was sloppy looking and they didn't use callus softener on my heals. Also, I just got a regular manicure with no nail polish and they charged me the same price as if I got polish. Most places charge less for no polish. Will not return to this salon. read more

I've been going to Lacey Nails for 4 years now getting acrylic nails with gel polish. My last set was a week old when the gel polish started to peel off and the natural nail underneath was peeling up as well, which was causing the acrylic to come off. I went back in to fix the problem and was told they would redo the gel polish and would file the underside. I said that I wanted a new set and they agreed, when all was said and done I was told I was paying for the removal of the old nails and the new full set costing $50. When I disagreed the owner told me that they didn't do anything wrong and that I said I would pay from the beginning even though other employees said I wouldn't have to pay. I won't be going back, which is sad. But I wouldn't spend my money here. read more

The girls felt like sheeple .... I paid for my 13 yr old daughter and two of her friends to get their nails done paid extra for gel because "they told me" it would last longer. Before I left and went shopping I gave each of the ladies doing their nails a $5 dollar tip and paid the bill it came to $ 67 all together just to paint nails. Two of the girls nails were done poorly "as in" clumped in places, my daughter and one of her friends were in pain from their ladies rushing which caused their nail beds to bleed . ... After the first day the nail polish chipped on two of the girls... its been a week and only one of the girls still has polish on. Never ever again complete waste of money they completely ripped me off. What really irks me was that this was a special treat what was suppose to be a pampering experience turned out to be a painful, costly, lesson for the girls and myself. read more

So I've been coming here about two months now, but this will be my last time coming by. They usually do a good job as far as nail designs go, but lately they haven't been consistent. Multiple times they've hurt my hand or did a messy job. From applying too much causing the polish to bubble or rhinestones falling off shortly after, this varies according to which nail technician you get. But the driving factor has been price. Everytime I go in, the price varies so much, and they never tell you what it's going to be, even when I ask. For a fill, they said its 25. I go in, and I've been charged anywhere from 25-35 for just the basic fill and polish. I ask how much it is for powder or special polish, they say its ten. But sometimes I get upcharged 20 for it. One time one of the colors did not come out according to the nail swatch she showed me, and instead of fixing it, she put on another coat, still didn't look like the swatch, and charged me extra for it! This last time, I asked them what they would charge me for holographic nails. They said 30 for the fill, 5 for the one that fell off in less than two weeks, and 10 for the polish. I asked why 30 when a fill is 25? She said because they are longer. Mine are almonds. No one ever charged for nail length before this, and I told her this. She kept avoiding me or didn't respond when I asked about pricing. I like to know what I'm going to be charged at least. She didn't even finish my nails. She had someone else do the color, but even they tried to fix the bubbliness of the fill job she did. I wouldn't reccomend this place. Dishonest and not consistent with their work. read more

My sister came up to see me and to cheer me up we went to get our nails done. We both wanted pedicures and a full set. During my pedicure the guy cut my big toe nail so short it bled and half my nail was gone so he put acrylic over it and didn't file it to shape making my nail look very very thick and deformed looking and when I said something he just completely ignored me. So then we move to our full sets and the lady doing my nails calls over 3 other employees and they are looking at my nails talking and laughing so I asked what was wrong and she said " you have baby nails has anyone ever done your nails?" Now I have very small hands for an adult and have caused me embarrassment before but NEVER at a salon. I've had my nails done 100s of times with ANY issue or anyone commenting on my unusual hands. So I told her never mind with the full set and just to finish up manicuring my nails. And I left with uglier nails than I walked in with. I was so embarrassed to have 4 employees standing there making fun of my hands right in front of me and LAUGHING. Never a problem I will wait for him never more than a few minutes, we'll worth the wait great conversation and we'll worth $$ and it's always the same price no matter how torn up my nails are. Loved this place when I lived in Lacey! My sister used this place when she lived in Lacey too! Very nice ladies, and they do great work too. There was one specific lady who was fantastic with my younger daughter. They were always great about walkins too. Very clean environment too, and believe me, I looked for things to be wrong! Not sure about the customer who was pissed off about her eyebrows, mine always looked fantastic. I still own my house in Lacey, if I ever move back I will definitely return as a customer. read more

I went there for SNS and they said they would do it then complained the whole time, over charged me and ripped apart my nails. 4 days later and all my nails are breaking down the middle or sides. I just moved here from California and this was the closest viet nail shop in town. I went in, they greeted me, and had me sit at an open station for my pedicure. They do not deep clean like my old manicurist did but I did notice they'll do anything you ask them to. (There was a picky lady sitting next to me). I probably waited for more than 30 minutes between my pedicure and manicure. The lady who did my pedi doesn't do acrylics so I had to wait, while she helped someone else (that's never happened to me). I wanted to walk out of the place but had to get them done. So, I sit and get my nails done, she starts by cutting my nails all the way down and then places the white tips for a french. Without asking she starts clipping the lengths. She clipped them to the same length my original nails were, If that were the case I should have just had them painted. She redid them and asked how long I want them. The gel is thick compared to what I usually get and there were bubbles (which she gave me $5 off). Overall it's just like any other shop. I usually don't get acrylics, and I never have a good experience when I do. I'm giving them three stars because they didn't trim my cuticles and they had me wait for a long time in between mani and pedi. I'd go in again if they aren't busy. read more
