We seen some friends in the grocery store and they said they just eat here. They said it was good so, since we were hungry. I got the super burrito and they did not have Carnitas for I got pastor. The burrito was big and they grilled it so to the eyes it looked good. I dont know, it tasted like some healthy thing they serve at Stanford. The original ethnic flavors not there for me. Wife got one taco for 9 bucks. She did enjoy it. They did bring us a sample of a home made tortilla with some cheese in it and it was really good! Place is small inside but looks cool. You can eat outside, which we did. Lots of parking.

Found a great New Mexican spot! A little bit pricey but food was super fresh and delicious! The service was also top notch! Seems like a family owned place which I definitely appreciate. Home made tortillas, delicious chips and salsa what more could I ask for? It was empty when we got here but a couple more parties came in towards the end of the night. They have little wooden tables and benches good for four or five people inside. They've also got some outside seating too. Shout out to the really really good chips and salsa again! You could tell it was home made and fresh! Thanks for a great experience I'll be back to try more things!

If you're looking for authentic out of this world Mexican food in the area please come here. They have 3 diff salsas to choose from & after you order they bring you a tortilla with queso! I thought that was so thoughtful & the fresh tortillas were so good. This place screams fresh and you can tell the food is made with love. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well Staff was kind and helpful. My co workers were amazed at how big the burritos were. I ordered the shrimp taco which had melted cheese on the tortilla And the asada taco with pinto beans They give you fresh chips as well & the 3 salsas to choose from were all so fresh & authentic. When I am in the area again I am def going to come here first thing!

Located inside the plaza with Safeway, Baskin Robbins and other restaurants, Laberinto de Humo is very small and narrow; it is not ideal for large groups and large parties. But the staff is very kind and friendly. They are kind, attentive and polite. What I love is that their food is homemade and fresh. A bit of a longer wait time, I was the only one in the restaurant and the wait time was about 20 minutes. As for the price, it's definitely more pricy than I expected but their food is decent. Free bag of chips are included. There are bowls on the side where you can choose your own sauces. Downside is that they don't accept payments via debit or credit card. They accept cash or Zelle. I may go back in the future but I would not go out of my way if I'm not in the area. Worth trying at least once but it's not the best that I've ever had.

I was initially turned off by the prices but the portions are huge. The tacos were $6.99 each but the diameter was 7 inches which larger than typical tacos. The carne asada and al pastor were marinated well. The tortillas here are super fresh, made on the spot. I ordered the huarache. Again, their tortilla dough is super fresh. It came with two eggs on top. You get free chips and salsa. The chips are not self serve but the salsas are. The restaurant is pretty small and has 3 tables inside and 2 tables outside. This is an order at the counter spot. You'll need to go up to ask for a cup of water, togo box, etc They only accept cash or Zelle as of now.

Sad to see an increase to the menu prices. Also noticed the move of the chips and salsa away from easy access. It made sense when I ordered and I was asked if I wanted to order chips and salsa for $3. No longer a complementary tortilla and cheese too. The food still tastes good but think will be coming less frequently. The saying is a bit rich for my taste.

huarache loco. Probably a great remedy for a hangover

The people here are super nice and you start off with a fresh hand made tortilla that has ruined my kids expectations forever! I got huarache loco and it was..... Huge. It was probably meant for a family of 4 and I barely made a dent. The super tacos are where it's at. They're super generous and I could be full off of one! Wish I had tried the pastor but the carne asada was smokey and yum!

This is a newly opened taqueria and it's wonderful! The tortillas for the tacos are freshly made. My friend is gluten free and they made gluten free corn tortillas for her order. Otherwise they use a little wheat flour in their corn tortillas. But they had no problem accommodating her. We ordered the shrimp tacos and a chicken taco and they were incredibly flavorful. Don't think of some crockpot cooked flavorless shredded chicken. It was bursting with flavors. And probably the best shrimp tacos I've had. The salsas are also made from scratch and it's self-serve. The tacos are regular size and not those small street tacos. It's a small restaurant with limited seating of about 10 tables but it's charming and quaint and authentic. I can't wait to visit again the next time I'm in Fremont!

Glad to see this place finally open. I visited LDH after leg day and I didn't know it, but I was about to take a train ride to Flavor Town! The food is great- they hand make their tortillas, and are unlike the others in the area- I found them to be chewy, pillowy; almost like bao made out of corn. My food came out hot, delicious, and fresh. What really blew me away was the presentation. They had these 3 enormous molcajete full of salsa to go with my plate of tortilla chips. Details: the interior is well made, the bathrooms clean. And I've never seen the staff dressed so nicely and so neatly groomed before... they definitely seem to take things seriously here. I honestly haven't enjoyed Mexican food that much in a long time. Thanks Team LDH!

The food is INSANELY GOOD Everything is homemade /make from scratch and you can tell. The freshness and portions will have you feeling like you are in your Mexican grandmother's kitchen. The service is so great, the staff truly cares about your experience. The place is beautiful, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the space. This is my new fav spot! 5/5 stars! Special shoutout to her service was Ipzana immaculate.

La Chavindeca de Mama and Super Burrito.

First time at this small restaurant tonight even through I've driven past it 20 times and never paid much attention. The fresh tortillas are wonderful, and reminded me of afternoons after school in my aunt's kitchen when I was a child. The staff is very friendly and everything was amazing. The meals were very filling and we only ate half and were happy to have lunch for tomorrow. The flavors are great and the ingredients also tasted very high quality. I'm very happy that I will be adding this place to my rotation of favorite local restaurants. Pictured is the super burrito and La Chavindeca de Mama.

Al Pastor Super Taco $9 and Shrimp Tijuana Style Super Taco $9. Insane flavor and handmade tortilla.
    Mike T.

Had been wanting to try this spot for a minute. The handmade tortillas were the main reason. Ordered a few things. $9 TJ style Shrimp Taco 9/10 rating. $9 Al Pastor Super Taco 10/10 rating. Meat was extremely flavorful and the tacos were really large and loaded with ingredients not cheap but high quality. California burrito asada $24 asada adds $2 to normal cost. Super flavorful and probably enough for two people. Overall three items cost me $42. The only thing that was a little crappy was the wait time. From order time to food in hand was 35 mins exactly. I wasn't doing much and wasn't in a hurry so didn't mind but if you're super hungry or in a rush don't expect a fast paced kitchen. Everything is hand made with care so. I'll be going back to try more things but this place is about quality ingredients and big portions. It's not gonna be for the cheap taqueria crowd so if that's what you're expecting you should not go here.

I had to leave a review because wow! this food was absolutely delicious. The tacos were loaded!!! the ingredients tasted high quality, and don't even get me started on the salsas they are next level delicious. 100% worth it! I've been here 2x this week lol

I was scrolling through the menu and I noticed that some of the words were too small to read especially when they're clumped together. When I was trying to order, they were going a bit too fast by not just quickly telling me what to add next, but also added cheese to accumulate the total price of food when I never ordered it. Fast service could be as bad as slow service, because people could feel rushed. I got Al Pastor Bowl and it's really delicious though. I like how all the ingredients were blended together as I keep on eating it. My small issue is that, it wasn't kind of warm enough but not to the point where I have to microwave it. Honestly, I have forgotten what Al pastor is which is why I got it but again, I'll have to look up online what it is. Overall, the food is good but they should slow down a bit when taking customers' orders especially when they're new here. My other suggestion is to replace a menu where all words can be seen easily to read and to space them out.
