    Fish and shrimp tacos
    Mari P.

Friendly service, greeted right away with smiles. Staff helped explain options and agua fresca options. Ordered fish and shrimp tacos The baja style fish taco was delish, with a tangy sauce on top. It was a good size piece of fish so that protein to tortilla ratio was good. However, the shrimp taco was just okay. I didn't get alot of shrimp in my taco. I felt it had more pico de gallo than actual shrimp so that ratio was disappointing. Also, the rice that came with one of the tacos was not my favorite. Not your typical Mexican fluffy red rice. It tasted and had the texture of rice you cook in the microwave for a minute. But the service was super down to eartg and welcoming so with that combined w the fish taco, I would come back and try something else. They seem to offer a Taco Tuesday special too. Place is clean, good vibes with the music playing and easy parking!

Best burrito in town here in Fremont area can't complain. I grew in Mission SF and I know what's good taqueria and this place is it. Plenty of parking and next to a Tesla Supercharger.

Bland meat, cold tortillas and old dry limes. The salsa was their saving grace.

Customer service is good however, their food is mid. Ordered their carne asada tacos, chicken burrito and a Jamaica drink. -Carne asada tacos rating 5/10 (tacos were warm at best and the meat is bland, tortillas were cold too). -Chicken burrito rating 2/10 (the meat tasted old and the rice was not good). -Jamaica drink 0/10 (has a very weird taste, tasted like cinnamon potpourri). I will say that their mild salsa verde is really good and it saved the tacos but other than that it wasn't anything to come back for.

Definitely a hidden gem in Newark! We had no clue what to eat and only a little bit of time to find something before my 11-year-old's game started. I wasn't feeling Chinese or Indian food, and there were a lot of those options around. While we were figuring it out, I went to UPS to drop off a return. On the drive there, I noticed Cal Eats Fresh, so I looked them up on Yelp. The pictures and videos looked delicious, so my husband decided that was the perfect choice--quick and easy. I went with the Steak and Shrimp bowl. I really liked that the shrimp were cooked on the spot, and they warmed up the steak with it, which added extra flavor. I topped it with Mexican rice, black beans, guac, sour cream, lettuce, and jalapeños. It's kind of like a Chipotle bowl where you build it as you go. I enjoyed everything except the rice--I like my rice with more seasoning. It wasn't bad, but it could have been better. The steak could have been cut into larger pieces, but that's more of a personal preference. My husband got the Chicken and Fries basket. They didn't have breaded chicken, which he was totally fine with, and he swapped the side of coleslaw for rice instead. The chicken was a little dry, and the fries could have been cooked longer. But the STAR of the show was the spicy BBQ sauce--like nothing we'd ever had before. Absolutely delicious. The service was a 10/10. The young man who helped us was friendly from the start, patient with all our questions, and seemed like he truly enjoyed working there. I made them a video to share on Instagram with pictures and videos also attached here.

Saw the rave reviews about cal eats fresh Mexican grill so wanted to check it out. The individual who was working was really friendly and kind. My husband ordered a burrito and carne asada taco and I ordered a shrimp and steak burrito bowl. One good thing about the food is that it was loaded with things and had a good amount of meat. But to us, it lacked a bit of flavor and did not taste like your traditional mexican food. However we were offered free chips and salsa which was nice. The place so didn't seem super kept up and wasn't very clean. But overall service was great and food was just ok.

First time visiting this Mexican restaurant and it was an awesome experience! The food, service, and ambiance were all fantastic. The fish tacos and steak fajita bowl were packed with flavor, and the chips and salsa were absolutely fire! Our server was super patient and friendly, which made the visit even better. Love the Bay Area Foodball fan vibes throughout the place, too. If you're charging your Tesla nearby, definitely take the short walk over--totally worth it. I'll definitely be coming back!

We had high hopes for the family restaurant, but the food was mediocre. The taco tortillas are too big. The shrimp tacos lacked the shrimp and over done with salsa and rice. The street taco lacked flavor, the best was a the fish taco. The chips were good, but store bought.

I came here after a card show and wanted to try something new. The location is quite crowded because there's a few restaurants and other business popular in the area. When I came in, it's kind of like a lunch line where you ask what you want in your food. The person working there was hella nice and she was patient with me while ordering. They had a bunch of meats on the menu and a hella add ons you can choose from. The Tacos were good, carne asada and al pastor. The burrito was good also, but I will stick to the tacos.

On the search for a good Taquero in Fremont and this spot has been bookmarked for a minute. It's got the right name! Dropped in for some lunch and was greeted right away walking in, ordered couple tacos, Asada and Pastor with some frijoles con arroz. They have green salsa verde, pico and molcajete sawce. There are about 10 tables with some picnic benches in a casual aluminum siding motif. In the realm of taco trucks, this is a nice spot to be able to grab a seat inside as it's raining and enjoy a quick Mexi meal! Delicioso !

This spot was a hit! You can always tell when you chose the right spot when you are watching how many regular customers come in & everyone is known by name! The good was delicious, and service was quick.

Great spot for some street tacos. I swung by one afternoon for a quick lunch and they had plenty of tables for a small shot. Very quick service and helpful staff

Love this place! We must come here twice a week for some yummy breakfast burritos and steak salads! They also have delicious pico freshly made daily! The owner is super nice and friendly, always greets us with a smile !

It was pretty mid. I was expecting more out of it but it was kind of bland and they didn't have any creativity.

Nothing fancy, just plain comfort food. The traditional pupusa was warm and stuffed with hot, melted cheese and beans. The cheese pull was impressively long. I think there was also some shredded pork hidden in the cheese. The curtido or pickled cabbage was yummy and crunchy but more sour than I'm used to. Also got a side of fried sweet plantains. So good. Loved the option of ordering the plantains plain without the beans, crema or queso fresco. Didn't care for the pineapple agua fresca which was too sweet for me. Maybe I should have tried the passion fruit instead. Sat in the dining room closest to the street corner, to the left of the register. Light and airy room. Humble neighborhood restaurant with mom and pop vibes. Small menu but based on my meal, can't wait to come back and try the rest of their food.
