QUESABIRRIAS, Asada and pastor tacos.

We went there for taco Tuesday @ $2.20/taco No flavor whatsoever in asada or the pastor. Quesabirria was alright. I've had better. The cashier wasn't that welcoming but whatever. Work is work I guess. Not busy around 11:30am. Wouldn't go back.

This place is really good! $2 tacos on taco Tuesday! I had carne asada and they were pretty good, salsa were good too! Ordering is pretty straight forward, there's quite a menu to look at lol i thought the size was reasonable. Definitely will be back!!

Super Burrito

Came for Taco Tuesday, but ended up ordering carne asada burritos because we were so hungry. Was greeted by staff immediately upon entering and they were friendly. Food came out very quickly. I was starving when I came in so at the time I thought the burrito I got was so good. But on a regular day with a regular appetite, I most likely would've considered the food to be kinda run of the mill. I don't have anything bad to say because it was filling and tasted fresh, but I'm not raving either. Also my bestie and I wanted to order horchata but they didn't have any today. :-( It seems like maybe the agua fresca flavor(s) are different every day...? There was tamarind, but we didn't feel like having that one. It would've been nice if we could have gotten horchata with our meal, I feel like most places always have it! Overall it was an okay experience. I prefer the nearby Taqueria Extra because they give complimentary chips, have a salsa bar, and I find the burritos there to be a little more flavorful. A lot of the reviews mentioned the food being pricey but I disagree, the menu is comparable to other taquerias in the area. Portions are large so I think it's fair. Indoor seating is minimal so you may wanna plan around that if you're coming with a large group. I think I'd be willing to come back one more time to try something else on the menu but I don't think this place will be in my regular Taco Tuesday rotation.

I can always count on a great plate when I order from here. My hubby and I had them for lunch on our recent date and loved every bite. We had their tacos dorados de camaron and split a super burrito de asada. We also tried their seasonal agua fresca and had cantaloupe this time. Every item was great especially they tacos. We also love their seafood options and their lengua tacos.

I came here for a lunch break. There seems to be decent amount of parking in the area and seating inside as well. The staff was very attentive and friendly and she answered my questions about the menu. Many of the plates seemed a little pricey, but I think that's where it's going nowadays with inflation. The restaurant itself seemed clean and well taken care of. I enjoyed the fresh painted artwork on the walls. I ordered these two items: 1) al pastor tacos ($4.00) 2) carne asada Chorriadas ($8.00) Both items are good, but I preferred the al pastor meat itself and the base of the Chorriadas. The carne asada had a funny taste to it, like it was older meat. Overall, it was good. I'd come back to try another dish to make a better judgement. "High on Food. High on Life." - thefoodhigh (IG)

We had wanted to try this place for awhile and when we finally did, it was a bit of a let down. The prices seemed high for what you got. I don't remember if the chips and salsa were extra or not. The quesabirria was greasy and the dipping sauce wasn't very flavorful. The other tacos were just okay. The small parking lot gets crowded as well as the little dining area. We were lucky that someone was leaving when we arrived so we were able to snatch a table. All of the tables are outside with plastic wrapped around for some protection from the road close by and wind. The tables and chairs are outdoor furniture which is fine but they are all really dirty and close together. The area where we ordered was also very dirty. I don't think we'll be back as there are other spots closer to us that are better.

QUESABIRRIAS

Served with a smile, super fast, and by far the best birria I've ever had. I've never written a restaurant review before, but I had to. This is my second time coming here, and I drove 1.5 hours hoping it would be as good as the first time -- and it absolutely was. These people truly care about food, and you can taste it. If Anthony Bourdain were still alive, I would recommend this place to him -- I'm sure he would have loved it. If you're hesitating, don't. Go there, get a quesabirria plate with a medio litro, sit outside, and enjoy.

I stopped by a while back and really enjoyed their birria tacos and their agua fresca. The service was chill and laid-back and we were able to get our food fairly quickly and was able to eat outside in the patio area - would recommend checking this spot out if youre in the area. Parking may be difficult depending on when you're there!

I got to try their new item on the menu! Tres Leches pancakes and they were delicious! A must try if you have a sweet tooth. Pancakes had a great texture not too thick. They will only be served on Sundays. The quesabirrias are also my favorite which are only available on weekends as well. The service is always amazing the staff is very welcoming!

Flauta Plate

If you're on a budget, just beware it's a bit more pricier than other Mexican spots. This place is small. The majority of the seating area is outside and the seatings inside is very limited. They have heaters outside but it gets pretty chilly when it's windy. We ordered 2 wet burritos and 1 flauta plate and the total comes out to be ~$65+ dollars (not including tip). I can only comment on the flauta plate bc that's what I ordered. Tbh, I assumed there would be chicken bc typically that's what it comes with when ordering in other places but this one just had potatoes. Don't get me wrong, the food tasted good but for the price I was paying I was expecting meat inside.

Very good food, just a little on the expensive side. Staff was friendly and nice outdoor seating.

I ordered this mail from DoorDash and it was absolutely terrible. They gave me nothing but the hard drive Meet I had to takeoff majority of the meat from my meal and it was very disappointing. ..

Chips and salsa

Came here to try it out after searching for some decent Mexican food in Fremont. The experience was quite lackluster. The chips they give are stale, the burrito was sad (look at the cross section) and the tacos also lacked flavor in the meat. Quite a disappointing meal overall, would not be returning and cannot recommend.

Also the nice char on the grilled shrimp chavella. The bad: their carnitas although well flavored don't have those crispy edges they get when fried a little on the pork fat. You can tell they just stewed the pork then threw it in the tortilla which is fine but that last step separates ok carnitas from good carnitas. Also strange was the chilie verde enchiladas which came with red sauce on top. The server explained that they put the chilie verde in the enchilada but they don't have green enchilada sauce which seemed odd because there are other pics on here which have green sauce. Lastly our drinks came out after the meal they said it was because they had to grill the shrimp which I guess is good because it was freshly cooked but anywhere else I've been the drinks come first. About $100 total with taxes and tip for two dinners and two drinks which seems crazy to me but I guess that's pretty much standard everywhere you go these days. I'd recommend it overall.

They offer plenty on their menu and have special deals too. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Service was okay. Not many people dining in but a lot of pick up orders. The sopes: Got 2 carnitas sopes and the meat was perfect. Soft but with a slight crisp and the flavor was all there. Plenty of cheese that caused a nice cheese pull. The steak nachos: They use shredded mozzarella but I don't think it was enough. A lot of the chips were bare and the ones that had it were dried out. The guac and sour cream balanced it out. The tacos: We got asada, chicken, and buche. Your average yellow tortilla perfectly oiled and heated up. I do feel like they skimped on the amount of meat they put on the asada tacos and the quality of the meat wasn't the best as there was a lot of fatty pieces. The winning meat was definitely the buche. It was fried just right and had a lot of flavor. The chicken was also very well seasoned and juicy. The green salsa was superior to the red salsa. It had a good heat level that wasn't overpowering like the red one. I appreciated that they added the pickled veggies on the side. Overall, a solid taco and sope spot. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

These tacos absolutely hit. However.... the wait. Taco Tuesday apparently activates some sort of time vortex. To-go orders routinely take 45 minutes to an hour, and dine-in isn't much better. You'll place your order, age emotionally, maybe grow a beard, and then BOOM tacos. Worth it? Usually. Efficient? Absolutely not. Outside of Taco Tuesday, prices jump fast. Case in point: $9 for 8 oz of guacamole. It's good guac, but at that price I half expect it to come with a tiny mariachi band or at least whisper affirmations while I eat it.
