Got there 15 mins before they opened and waited for doors to open. Both ladies were friendly and took the time explaining the new sign in system. From start to finish I was done in 10 mins. I called on Friday to pay my LabCorp bill, and I had to turn my credit card off after the third freaking time they charged me for the same bill on the same day. I don't know why this place has such a bad rating. I knew going in, I didn't have an appointment. That's what was convenient for me. I did have to wait longer because of people who had made appointments, but it wasn't more than 45 minutes. The front desk staff was VERY friendly. I watched people come in and some were sour with the staff and they (the staff) continued to be pleasant and handled them very professionally. My phlebotomist was also very friendly and was fast and efficient. If I had to criticize anything about this place, I'd say it was the patients that were the grumps and gave the place the "unpleasant" vibe. read more

Here it is plain and simple. ANSWER THE PHONE!! There is no way to call and talk to a human at this location to confirm information. When I arrived there was no one at the desk. Waited 10 minutes to even let some know I was there for a scheduled appointment. Horrible coordination with physicians office. Lastly, I followed all the directions for this process, only to show up at scheduled time to find out the Dr. put the wrong order type on my account thus the trip was for nothing.. I estimate I spent nearly 8 hours dealing with the Physician's office and trying to talk with someone at Labcorp for this simple test. Never again. read more

Completely rude front desk and lab tech there today. I've never experienced such attitude. Registered my PCP under her old job location ever after I told them 3 times her new office was on the order slip, when I was leaving I saw they didn't change it even after I gave them the correct information and I got attitude when I went up front to correct it before I left. I also got attitude when I was questioning why so many blood vials (there were 10) when I've had the same tests before with 4 or 5 vials. "Well did you read the order?" I also got attitude when I questioned the tech's technique of releasing the tourniquet after 1 or 2 tubes. They only had 1 tech drawing blood and I was there 1 1/2 hours waiting for my turn, and I had an appointment. Never going back! read more

It is never fun to have your blood drawn no matter where you go. I have never seen a pleasant Lab company. It is best to go there a half-hour before they open in order not to way an exorbitant amount of time. Just as all labs, some people draw blood well... and others think a vein is a dartboard. Just in-case people who draw blood read these reviews... the concept of drawing blood isn't that you stab the needle THROUGH the vein. The concept is to slide the needle into the tough vein without it missing the vein, and it's then supposed to slide INTO the vein. It seems that, only about 1 out of 2 people ever do it right. The ones who do always do it right. The ones who don't shouldn't have that job. read more

Overall g reat experience, they were quick and friendly. My appointment was at 10 on a Saturday, and I was out the door by 10:18. Stacy was the one who drew my blood and she was great!! I have small veins and they were no match for her, she got it on the first try!! If you get Stacy you will be in good hands. I would deffinaly return. read more

Holy hell! This review directly corresponds with the attitude and attentiveness of the front desk. IF YOU ARE THAT UNHAPPY WITH LIFE AND YOUR JOB, DO EVERYONE A FAVOR AND QUIT! Not one person in the waiting room wants to hear your backlashed attitude and tone, let alone the confused and usually misguided seniors whom require your services. I have listened to this employee belittle and talk down to different customers for two hours now. I am not a customer here but my mother is required to get tests from this lab. I will be finding another lab after today and inquiring about a higher authority to deal with this. I hope this review helps steer people away from the emotion abuse and disrespect that spews from these employees mouths. I understand the process of setting up an appointment and being punctual when arriving, plus having all the required information. I feel safer and more clean in a medical marijuana dispensary then I did in this place. I waited here for almost 2 hours. They had one nurse working who didn't seem too happy. When I was finally called, I was told to take a urine sample. When I went to put my urine in the little door, there was already someone else's urine in there. There was barley enough room for 2 containers, and my container was touching the other which really grossed me out! Not to mention, the bathroom was dirty and smell of stale urine! The only good part about it was the fact that the nurse was quick and gentle with drawing blood, but didn't speak a word to me. What has health care turned into in this country? Terrible customer service. My doctor emailed me the lab order form. I did not have a paper copy. I made an appointment, fasted for 10 hours, took time off work. When I showed up, the receptionist would not accept the emailed form. She insisted they needed paper. I asked if they had a printer and she said yes but they "could not receive external emails." I was at the Labcorp at 1950 E Southern in Tempe. It was last minute so I couldn't make an appointment. I have always gone to Sonora Quest, but when I changed insurances, Labcorp is the only choice. I waited 35 minutes just to be called to the desk to give my paperwork and ins. card. They have ONE phlebotomist! so I waited another 1/2 hour to be called back to have my blood drawn. Apparently it is normal for them to have only one phlebotomist working which might be ok later in the day, but when most people are coming in the morning for blood work that requires fasting, it's ridiculous. Next time I will try another location and will definitely make an appt. if possible. read more

This is the worst LabCorp and I had the worst customer experience ever. I was there on Saturday November 11. I am 8 month pregnant and I went there for a test. I got there at 9, they had me wait a long time and when I went to the bathroom they called me but I did not hear it. When I came back I kept waiting and after another 30 minutes i asked the lady why she had not called my name yet. She said "we called you but you did not answer" and I told her maybe it's when I was in the bathroom and she said "well it's too late, we cannot do the glucose test because it's gonna take 3 hours and we will close at 1pm. It was so bad and it was so hard for me to wake up early and get there on time. The people over there are so rude and unprofessional. They treated me really bad. read more

Firstly, didn't draw all labs of young child listed on form-had to go back twice to get it all done...try to convince a anxious child of a second draw! The phlebotomist called personally to fix that one. But, when we got there, apparently the girl at the front desk said she had no information on us and completely dismissed us and said that not only do phlebotomist not call patience, but their network is down, so she cannot help us. She sent us to another lab. That lab happen to only do drug testing!! So we went to another one on Country Club and Brown. This one told us that the girl did not know what she was talking about. Labcorp systems were not down, and to go back and speak directly to phlebotomist that called-luckily I knew her name!! So, we went back, asked for the phlebotomist. The girl at the desk was visibly angry and told us to sit down immediately and she would speak with the phlebotomist. I calmly told her "no thank you"-I was seriously thinking she was going to like call police! She was so angry and I was being so calm!!! I happen to catch the phlebotomist and told her she had called us. She immediately recognized and helped us! The receptionist at this point was fuming. Poor girl is going to need some blood work done of her own! Anyways, we were then brought back right away. ----HOWEVER----- They didn't put all her labs in the correct tubes (some blood has to be placed in amber, light-protected tubes)!!! So, we didn't get results from those and they want us to draw yet another time. So, yeah....nope. The Tempe location is off the table for us. Will be going to Sonora Quest for now on. We typically go there, but she had to fast and they had no early appointments. My daughter will be ever grateful to not have this happen again! read more
