I will say this about this LabCorp location...the two times I've came were w/an appointment they've been good about honoring them. I say this because I used to go to the the LabCorp in Old Town Scottsdale (which has since closed) and they seemed to NEVER honor appointments. Walk-ins, appts...all the same to them. This location is also clean and has a large waiting room with a lot of seating. They were short staff the last time I was here and plenty of people were complaining about the wait, but like I said, I was in and out with my appointment. read more

Not one for bad reviews. This office used to be really good, not anymore. I think they've lost all their techs and are training new ones. Super angry that Labcorp doesn't have a shared system. So if my Doctor orders labs they must be sent to a specific location. What kind of idiotic system is this?? Seems like it was developed by a bunch 3rd graders!! With Simon Med they have a shared system, so if my Doc orders X-rays I can go to any location and get it done. Why can't Labcorp do the same?? Brought my grandma here the other day. Upon arrival I was impressed with the clean lobby, natural light, and pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, all of the staff we interacted with were attentive and professional. Pro tip: make an appointment before hand. They accept walk-ins ( that's what we were ) but it takes longer than if You set an appointment ahead of time. Overall great visit! read more

Lots of parking spaces in the lot and location is right off the main street so it was easy to spot. However, the wait is rather long - even if you show up 40 mins before they open. They should have a sign in sheet out front so that when the staff arrives, they could start calling people and grabbing the necessary paperwork. Now it feels like a waste of time because they can't start calling on anybody until everyone gets a chance to sign in. Only 3 workers total. 2 in the front checking people in and doing paperwork and one lab tech doing all the blood work and such. Definitely need more staffing for such a busy location. Appointments can be made but wait is about 2 weeks out which doesn't work out for a lot of people. Will not be coming back to this location. read more

We should be able to give zero stars for establishments like this. They obviously don't care, just look at their rating. I was here first. At 12:15. Standing outside for my 1pm appointment. I didn't know they were closed until one. So I got in the door first and I stood in front of the check in window. She directs three people BEHIND ME to little "check in kiosks". So those three people are now ahead of me. One guy literally just found the place before they were opened. Absolutely terrible. And the receptionist don't give a crap. I had to do lab work here today and it went very smoothly, the young lady whose name was Anastasia really impressed me, first of all her Customer Service was Excellent from the time I entered facility until the time I left, Her skills with that Needle was outstanding, I didn't even realize she had stuck my arm and the way she multi tasked and got me in and out quickly and comfortably was really something to be recognized! She needs to be in charge of how that place should be runned !! I'm in customer service also and I love to see when people love what they do because it comes out in their service to you! read more

These lab techs don't know the difference between ANTIGENS and ANTIBODIES. I mean the lay public knows the difference because of this pandemic, it's embarrassing that the people Labcorp hires do not. I was on a deadline to get an Ab test and they tested for Ag. Nobody took responsibility but my doctor insists they sent out the right test so they are saying it was the labs mistake. In order to get a new sample I had to sit there for hours crying in their waiting room until someone finally agreed to retest me. Even then, the new results never came in! I missed my deadline and I'm going to Sonora quest from now on. read more

Warning. Your doctors office MUST fax the order to the SPECIFIC LabCorp location otherwise you will have to call your doctor's office to have it faxed to a specific location after you show up for your appt. Better yet, have your doctor give you a hard copy of your order so you can hand walk it into the specific location. LabCorp shreds your order if it is sent to the wrong location. LabCorp needs help in creating a central fax number Doctors can use to submit patient orders. Who's the incompetent person responsible for the broken system LabCorp currently has? Not to mention the wasted paper that fax machines use to print orders that are shredded at the wrong location. Stupidity at its finest! read more

You can call this establishment as many times as you wish but no one will answer or return your messages. Apparently they no longer use their phone services, but have refused to change their message when you call to let you know. If you have questions you need to go there in person. Check in kiosks are all out of order except for one, creating awkward, and uncomfortable directionless lines in a small lobby where a sign states maximum 10 capacity and there are clearly up to 20 people in the room. Staff seems to be inconvenienced by having to be at work. Service with a smile unfortunately is unavailable at this establishment. Have you ever wondered what an essential business looks like that knows people have no other choices, and clearly does not care about customer service? Come on down and check it out! read more

This is a pretty clean and organized location; however, the wait was nearly 40 minutes for routine blood work. My preferred (and local) location had closed down in October. This is the next closest LabCorps, but getting in and out in less than 20 seems to be a thing of the past. I do really like the check-in machine and self-serve process here. I went here a week ago for bloodwork not related to COVID-19 and the phlebotomist kept pulling her mask down to talk to me. She kept using her non-gloved hand to touch me and used both hands to type. She was clueless about making any effort at all toward germ or virus prevention. She had to stick me 3 times to get blood and even dropped the gauze onto the chair and still picked it up and used it on my skin. I asked for a call back from LabCorp related to unsafe COVID-19 practices and they haven't even bothered to follow up. The kicker is that the health dept web site refers COVID-19 people to LabCorp - which means there's a pretty good chance that there were people there that were contagious. This is not fair to people who are doing things right and taking proper precautions. They shouldn't be exposed this way. Get this person some training please. read more

I've been coming here with my son for a couple years to get his monthly blood draws. Under normal circumstances, we schedule the appointment ahead of time but due to a snafu with their website we had to come in today unscheduled and wait to be seen. I anticipated there would be a lot of people waiting as well so I made sure to get him there before they opened so we could hopefully be in and out and I could get him to school on time. What I didn't expect was the behavior of the other people who showed up AFTER us to try and get in early, too. We had not one but 3 people easily in their 80s (I bring up their age to illustrate how they should have known better) cut in front of us in line and one of them had the audacity to say he'd "knock me out" if I attempted to dispute his nonsense! I'm a large man in my late 30s and couldn't believe he'd say that out loud within earshot of a guy who could effortlessly punch THROUGH him if he had to. I'm leaving two stars because prior to this I've had nothing but good experiences here in the past but today made me wish I could leave zero. when I mentioned the old man's behavior to the technician, she just stared at me blankly like she was hypnotized - i didn't get an apology or any reaction at all! Labcorp needs to put some policy in place to punish people who act so childishly, whether it's making them wait longer or denying them service altogether. The staff here was rude. The kiosk froze. They let me sit there for an hour even after they ask me my name and I let them know the kiosk froze. I was not serviced here. I went to the desk after an hour and asked how much longer. The said they did not have my lab order. So I sat there for nothing I am really sick I'm very disappointed in the staff here. read more

Upon entering the establishment there was a patient talking loudly on his phone with his mask pulled down so that he could have his conversation. While I was checking in I overheard 3 other patients ask the patient to take his conversation outside. He ignored everyones request and continued to pace about the waiting area on his cell phone with his mask pulled down. I brought this to the attention of Josue who was working behind the desk. I asked him to please ask the patient to take his conversation outside. I was told that they do not ask people to leave because they are on the phone and if I had a problem with it I could always visit another LabCorp location. (Don't worry Josue, I will be going to Sonora Quest moving forward). He gave me the name of his supervisor but I have yet to hear back. I guess Josue has not heard that there is an order signed by the Mayor stating that it's a misdemeanor for business who do not ask customers to leave for not wearing a face mask. If you want to stay safe from Covid I would recommend using Sonora Quest. read more

Just know. Their walk-ins work by pushing you back to the end of appointments and if/when they're done with appointments, then they'll take you. Told this directly from front staff. It doesn't matter if you're fasting. They don't care if your provider told you to just go straight there because they "accept walk-ins". You'll wait and be last. Currently been waiting 2.5 hours for a 4 minute blood draw. They didn't even ask for my paperwork or insurance information until I walked up close to 2 hours in asking if I was even checked in. LabCorp, you know, the place where you get blood drawn. This is the Tempe location, notable because it is open on Saturdays. On Saturdays, they open at 9am and EVERYONE wants to be first. Get there at 9:05 and the place will be packed. The guy who took my blood was relaxed, friendly, and very good at what he was doing. If you don't mind a wait sometimes, this is a good place to go if you need labwork done. read more

If your doc wants you to go to LabCorp politely ask for Sonora Quest instead. Totally unprofessional. The place also stinks of urine. They also totally do not honor their appointments. My wife had an 11:00 AM appt for a fasting blood test. She arrived at 10:50 AM with paperwork ready. They got "around to her" by 3:30 PM. Even then everyone tried to get "in front" of her as a "walk in". My wife was fasting since midnight per doctor's orders...C'mon! My wife did get her blood drawn, and I took her for food afterwards. She almost fainted due to a lack of food. She spent the rest of the day sleeping because of a headache due to lack of food. Honor your appointments, or else do not make it available. Also, have more locations open on the weekends (specifically Saturday). ----------- My wife's comments were something to the nature, when you go for labwork to Sonora Quest on a Saturday morning in Mesa, you never had this kind of wait, and it never stunk of urine in the place!!! I have taken multiple tests that have not showed up on my patient portal, yet they can't seem to figure out how to make my results available to me.
