Horrible experience. I arrived 20 minutes late for my appointment due to terrible traffic and they said they can't honor my appointment anymore. They told me I would have to be a walk-in at that point. However, this "policy" was not mentioned anywhere. Decided to leave a review since it's such low stars for some reason. I think most of the bad reviews are simply because a lot of people failed to make an appointment and therefore had to wait a long time in-person which is understandable because you're being accommodated around others who actually took the effort to make one. I expected it to be bad service based on the reviews but it wasn't at all. I booked an appointment online at their website and the only one available at the nearest date and time was a couple days later: January 31st at 2:15pm. Not a problem, I needed to a complete a pre-employment drug test (urine). They told me via email to check-in 15 minutes before my appointment and I did at 2pm through their iPad system at the front. I was seen at 2:30 and was done by 2:40. Receptionist was helpful and the doctor was also thorough and friendly. Don't listen to these guys, just make an appointment and don't be a sore thumb because as I was waiting, so many people were being rude to the receptionist about wait times that I couldn't believe it. Excellent service, I have a nearby LabCorp across White Memorial Hospital but sadly they do not conduct drug screens. I journeyed to the city of Downey to the nearest LabCorp that could offer me the screening service. Parking was not a problem at all , the office is located in a medium rise medical building. Pro tip , LabCorp is located in the 4th floor of the building. The office and waiting area is intimate but it gets the job done. I was very impressed with the army of 3 ladies that conquered the rush of clients. I was told that the wait would be an hour and 30 minutes but they attended me around the 40 minute mark. I was astonished with how they work with children, usually one would hear screaming, crying, running but these techs did a swift , easy, and professional job with the children. The tech that did the lab work with me was lovely, informative, and professional. I never conducted a drug screen before and I felt confident with her clear step by step instructions.The company that I did the screening for got the results the next business day and I was on my way. Always packed here makes me wonder what else is going on. It should never be packed as it is everyday. Checked my sister at 713, her appointment was at 7 , they managed to get my sister within 20 minutes. The lab staff were courteous, efficient and helpful.As for the clinic, its ok..nothing special about this place. No TV nor magazine for people that had to wait to keep them occupied, not even "elevatormusic". Anyway, at least it's maintained clean. read more

Hated that place the lab techs were so rude and disrespectful and the line was Sooooo long I mean come on i work in the medical field for god sake it don't take that long to draw blood. I had to do a drug test for work and they honestly made me feel like I was a felon. Words like "put it in there do you understand? and walk out to me" was kinda forceful and degrading. People bringing their crazy loud kids in tow and they have their little devices with the kiddie shows so loud it's deafening. I got here at 8:49 am and the lobby was packed! It's now 9:19 am and I'm already in my vehicle. They worked so effortlessly and efficiently to maintain a transparently running clinic this morning! Well got up early to go to quest diagnosis across the street they let me sit there a hour to rudely tell me my insurance is no longer accepted there and felt like a third rate citizen. I walked in and the gal in the front office was on the phone so I just signed in and sat down. This lady walked in and the gal at the desk asked her if she had an appointment. The lady said yes at 11:30 and showed her a paper. So, my appointment was at 11:15 and my husband said you should go up there and tell her you have an appointment. So, I go up to her and she says in Spanish "pregunta" I don't speak Spanish but I did understand that word. I said oh, I just wanted to let you know I have an appointment. She very rudely said I didn't call you and when came in I was on the phone. I will call you when I'm ready. I turned around and asked my husband did I say it wrong. He said no and she's lucky it wasn't him she was talking to. Then I sit down and she calls my name not even 10 seconds 1st time for insurance card and proof I had an appointment. Then she called me up again to write my phone number and address on my lab order. Then I sit down and she calls me up for a 3rd time to copy my insurance card again. I sit down she calls my name I start to head towards her one more time and she points to the door for me to enter back to get my blood drawn. I've been to this place many times before and usually they open door and call the persons name to come back. Ok, no problem I go back and another lady has me sit down before she draws my blood she said look over your paperwork and make sure it is correct, the gal at the front desk typed in the wrong birthdate. So, I sit and wait for it to be updated. The lady that drew my blood hurt me she said I didn't have my arm straight and that's why she had trouble drawing the blood. I was very happy to get out of there. I will try and find another lab Corp I think this place needs to learn how to be a lot nicer everyone should be treated with respect. read more

Awful customer service. I was two minutes past my courtesy 15 minute late window because I was at the wrong lab. So I get it , it's my fault for being across the street in the wrong building. Mind you I'm taking an infant in for blood work. So after I realized I was in the wrong lab, I run across the street, baby in hand to make it here. The guy behind the counter almost cuts me a break until he asks someone and they say "no, you have to wait like everyone else". Two minutes... Two minutes. I have a fussy baby with me and they can't take me for a two minute difference. Because of this, I wasn't helped till an hour later. Horrible. Quest Diagnostics is so much better. Been here once before and it was nasty since then....and it is even nastier now....I didn't believe it could get this nasty. Honestly, it starts with the staff...and they are Ghetto Rude....no customer service what to ever, and yes there is such a statement (Ghetto Rude), one can be ghetto but competent and nice, but NOTHING is worse than a Ghetto Rude Incompetent customer service provider. I was there and waited a long time for my labs drawn, I had informed one of the staff, and that person gave me a nasty response to wait my turn, and then stated she would look into it. But she simply left for the day, and did not inform the other staff, her replacements that she was supposed to look into my case, which then lead to longer wait and did not want to take my labs. I had to come back another day, the unnecessary long wait and multiple travels were uncalled for, if only they did there job as should. I know this place is busy, they have a high demand, and most of customers seem to be impoverished, but per my experience there during those visits, the staff belittled the customers, and spoke down to them, it was uncalled for. Very bad unnecessary attitudes. I hope they hire new staff, or retrain their current staff to have ethical values and good customer service, they work in the health care field for God's sake, they have to project some kindness.... read more

The lab looked dirty and the chairs in the waiting area are old and ripped. The self service machine would not scan my license so I had to enter my information. However, the machine was still convenient. The lab technician kept her back turned to me and assumed I spoke Spanish. She gave me directions to the room in Spanish. I informed her that I did not understand her and she claimed that I addressed her in Spanish when I had not spoken a word to her. She asked me to step on the scale and when I asked where I can place my belongings she did not respond. I had to place them on the sink. The facility was filled with approximately 12 patients which predominantly looked to be of Latino decent. The lab technicians treated them like a herd of cows. They failed to greet and provide their name. I felt as if I was in a free government facility. Not acceptable. I am in the Health Industry and I will not be returning to this facility nor will I recommend it. read more

You rarely need to make an appointment because they used to be pretty quick. I've been going here for blood work for a year and a half and used to make appointments but found that it didn't matter because they would go by the sign in sheet but It didn't bother me because they were pretty quick anyways. Well I was just there & it was supper busy & they told me it would be a while, however they broke there normal protocol which is looking at your insurance first to make sure your not waiting for nothing. So after waiting for 1 1/2 hours did they call my name, asked for my insurance & say "sorry we don't take this anymore"!! Why would you make someone wait for over an hour, when you should have stuck to your normal routine!! I'm glad I don't have to go back there!! It was always so dirty and very small!! read more

Made an appointment for 3pm for drug test for pre employment...Was nervous about not finding the place glad I read the reviews. It's located inside the building on the 4rth floor suite 408 in the corner. The reviews had me scared but when I got there it wasn't so bad lol. I signed in around 2:30pm had gotten there early just in case I couldn't find it. Only two people waiting and they even took me in early! The staff weren't friendly or rude just a bit awkward but they were prompt and professional. Which is fine for me not expecting them to go out of their way just hello, how can I help you, and goodbye is all I needed I'm on my way lol. But they were really professional. Before I knew it I was out the door with my papers and ready for the rest of my day. My second time using a LabCorp so far they are pretty cool. Last time was blood testing at the one in Lakewood had an appointment for that as well. I recommend you make an appointment not required but it does save you some time. read more

Horrible service refused to give me my drug test because I didn't have my California ID on me when I just drove two hours to come here for nothing I am a military vet and this is completely ridiculous this is the first place that wouldn't accept my picture of my ID on my phone since I didn't have my wallet. On top of all that the lady at the front desk with her dumb accent that I couldn't even understand was very rude and unhelpful and said I couldn't even get a drug screen because it was 5 minutes pass 3 when I was already in there at 245 she's lucky because if I was a girl and she gave me that attitude and service I would have gone off. And yes there were other people too. I made sure we had our insurance card, ID, and lab work paperwork. No more carpet with stains. Staff was busy at work but personable. I took my son on a Wednesday at 1 p.m. and there was no one in the waiting room so he was the first seen. Took about 10 min total from signing in and getting blood labs drawn. I've seen it busy before but will try my best to go in afternoon if no fasting. We are going to see how LABCORP is with sending info to Doctor since Quest started charging a phenomenal fee to send the Doctor the results. read more

I went in for blood work. The workers were cracking jokes and looked as if they were just passing the time while the whole room was filled to the point the people had to make a line along the walls. Dirty waiting room and they make you wait forever just to pee in a cup. Try to avoid this place if you have a choice.

It shouldn't take 2 HOURS to complete a drug screen it literally takes two minutes or less to pee in a cup. It should maybe take 20 minutes maximum to fill print out the appropriate forms, verify ID, and obtain a sample. read more

I was there earlier this week and the place was OK, a little dirty, a bit of a wait. However, to be seen on Saturday, you must make and appointment, in which I did. My husband walks in and he's given the run around, that no appointment was made blah blah blah. I called and the gentleman was a little rude about it, from my understanding he said "yes he's here and on the list" I called my husband back and he was told no, hes not on the list. I talked to the gentleman again, in which he said, no I never said that, he has to call to make an appointment. I was trying to explain to him, it was made...he didn't even let me speak, kept talking over me and repeating himself and just hung up on me, when I asked to speak to his manager. I called back again and spoke to the manager, explained the situation. The manager was very nice and helpful and he was seen after all. My husband, over heard, the staff saying, that their system was not working properly, i was having trouble logging in to the system as well. Next time, I rather just pay out of my pocket and go to a different lab. read more
