I've been meaning to get bloodwork done for the last 2-3 months, but due to outside circumstances I wasn't able to go in until today. I'll admit, I was a little nervous walking into this Labcorp location after seeing the 2.6-star rating. Thankfully, however, my experience couldn't have been more different -- it was truly a 5-star visit. I originally scheduled an appointment for 8:45 AM, but due to traffic I arrived about 10 minutes late. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to reach a real Labcorp employee through their phone service (press 7) and let them know. They were incredibly accommodating and reassured me that it wouldn't be an issue and that my appointment spot would still be available when I arrived. Although it's a typical Labcorp location, the check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff was incredibly friendly from the moment I arrived. The phlebotomists were patient, professional, and kind. When the first phlebotomist had trouble finding a vein, she didn't rush or force it -- instead, she took the time to get someone who could, which I genuinely appreciated. That's when James stepped in, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He immediately picked up on the fact that I was nervous and went out of his way to make me feel more at ease, keeping the conversation light and genuinely comforting. There was a small miscommunication about how many vials were needed (it ended up being 8), which meant I had to be restuck to collect the remaining 4. Even with that, James remained calm, reassuring, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. Technically, I was stuck three times, and as someone who hates getting blood drawn, I can honestly say this was still not a bad experience at all. The care, empathy, and professionalism - especially from James - made what could have been a stress situation surprisingly manageable. If you're hesitant because of the rating, don't be. Based on my visit, this location absolutely deserves a higher score. read more

Parking garage is too tight. Handicap parking will get your car hit, the turns are too sharp and narrow. I was worried for the safety of the parking attendant who was having to stop people from coming down ramp so we could enter then no where to go. read more

They never pickup their phones. The expeirence here in general is never good. I feel the service / quality should be better than it is. Not sure if I'd recommend this place, maybe go to Quest. read more

The whole system was efficient and the people were excellent. My tech, Jeremy, and as gentle and provided me with an outstanding blood draw. I will make this my preferred Labcorp. I appreciated the customer service! read more

If I could give this no stars I would. The phlebotomist threw one of the tubes of blood into the sharps container with the needle still attached. Then tried to get it back out of the sharps container, which doesn't seem safe. She "fixed" it by taking some blood from one of the bigger tubes and adding it to the small tube. Not surprisingly, my doctor says these test results will not be valid and is going to contact the lab to tell them to throw them out. Also, when I was in the restroom giving a urine sample, there were already six of them in the cabinet and I had to stack mine on top of another one. This is ridiculous. I will not be back. read more

DRUG COLLECTION URINE SPECIMENS hrs: 8:30-4pm M-F Yea it doesn't say that on their website, nor google or apple maps. Just says it on the door if you get there right at 730 am when they open. I went today with my MD Anderson collection kit The staff was amazing I didn't even know my blood was taken they were so fast and it did not hurt one bit. They were very kind and courteous thoughtful and helped to make sure all paperwork was done correctly. They made this very anxious person calm and cared for. I walked in very stressed! Every thing this morning had a snag in it! I couldn't download the order, find the receipt etc. Von who works in the front, kindly showed me check in. She proceeded to do a history and found my order! I stressed I was late for another appt. Von was so kind, she said "you will get there when you do and be fine !" This woman actually cared about me and changed the stress I felt! Then walked in to get me was Mishelle! Yes that is how you spell. She was kind, and drew my sample in 2 minutes. Unethical. Incompetent. Inefficient. $250 completely wasted. And no one who works at the office or the company cares AT ALL. The height of bureaucratic indifference. They sell a travel test for an outrageous cost, they do not provide any information on the status of the test, and then they fail to deliver the results on time. And they fail to say that they will not deliver the results on time. read more

I'm appalled that this place is even in business. I made an appointment online for 11:45 and showed up right on time. It's really easy to miss the parking garage, and there's not much parking elsewhere so drive slowly when you're pulling up to the Google Maps destination. I walked into a very small and narrow waiting room. There was no one at the check-in window, but there was a lengthy piece of paper taped on the glass stating not to tap or knock on the window, not to yell for someone's attention to check you in, but to just sign in on the clipboard and sit down. I have never felt so disrespected by a piece of paper before, but I didn't want to piss anyone off, so I signed in and sat down. Someone finally showed up at the window at 12:10, so we're 25 minutes past my appointment time at this point. The lady decides to check in EVERYBODY who's in the waiting room before calling anyone in to be seen. I get called in around 12:15, and it took less than 5 minutes. I'm not even exaggerating the timing of any of this. I'm just so surprised at how quickly they seem to work once you're in, but the process was just so slow overall with getting in and out. read more

Has the most pleasant experience here. Was concerned after reading the reviews, but front desk was friendly and efficient. I came in without an appointment and was in and out for routine lab work in 15 minutes. The gentleman who drew my blood was kind and the initial prick was easy and quick. read more

Our company sent a healthcare professional to this location 11/18 for employment drug screening. The outgoing message and all internet location details, including labcorp website, state this location accepts drug screening up to 4:30p. Our calls to confirm were unsuccessful because no one answered the phone. With regret, we proceeded to send this professional. She arrives at 3:58 to be confronted with a Labcorp employee that pushes an unprofessional onto our employee, as she tosses out "system shuts down at 4". I call the location this morning to confirm this and see what needs to be done going forward. The person who answered was the same individual our nurse had the most unfortunate encounter with. She put up a defense immediately and rudely corrected the time stamp of the professional's arrival, to reflect 4:01. To paraphrase, "I don't know what she told you, but it was 4:01." Being the professional I am, I was not going to engage in her mindless banter and argue. At this point, I am asking for clarification of the time and what steps to take so we can move forward. My questions were interrupted with the same response, "the system shuts down at 4p and ain't nothing we can do". I asked if this was an issue with all locations in the DFW area. Response was, "it's everywhere". The content of her conversation was littered with slang and attitude and was getting us nowhere. I contacted Labcorp corporate. The rep that assisted me was exceptional. She called the facility herself, with no success (no answer). She told me that she was not aware of any "system shut downs" and assured me that if there was a system shut down that was "everywhere" and was occurring on a consistent basis she would know. Anyone going to this location should be concerned. If the labcorp employees can't communicate professional, and have a pattern of being disrespectful and rude (see other comments) would you want that same person to have access to all your personal info? Access to medical records? Access to payment info? Are you comfortable knowing this Lapcorp employee is responsible for your specimen? read more

This place is terrible. I come here about every 90 days for a blood test. The service is always awful. They treat you like an idiot and as another reviewer indicated they act like robots repeating the same thing over and over to the point you can't understand them. It feels like a bad SNL skit. read more

Blood work has been pain free. That's the most important part. The other important part is that it's quick. It takes between 5 and 20 minutes, depending on how busy the place is. The non-Dallas Labcorp I had been to took 30-120 minutes (even with an appointment), so I'm thrilled at how speedy this place is. Appointments are not necessary. The process is pretty easy. 1) Sign in and go sit down. It's an awkward seating area, but that's ok because you won't be there long. 2) Hand over insurance and credit cards when called back up to the window and go sit down again. 3) Go through the door and be prepared to hand over whatever bodily fluid is being tested. The location is in an office building, just off the attached garage ($2 unless they let you out when you honk, but I always park on the street). From the Starbucks, it's on the same side of the street, a block closer to downtown. read more

Staff was extremely unprofessional. Instead of calling for people in the waiting room softly, they yelled at the top of their lungs. Doors were left to just slam shut. None of their technology was working, they had to call another office to look up people's appointments and instructions from doctor. They were seeing walk-ins before people with appointments. Been going there for 3 plus years for my routine bloodwork every month. The staff has always been very professional and courteous to my needs. They are extremely busy, so having the proper paperwork and being polite and respectful will get you in and out very quickly, which we all want. read more

FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO!!!! What a horrific experience. The girl at the front desk HATES HER JOB. She is one of the meanest, rudist, humans on Earth. Her attitude is DISGUSTING! She rolls her eyes at anything you say. Within my 20 minutes of being there, I saw her YELL at one patient. She physically closed the sliding glass in another patient's face & REFUSED to help him. Lastly, when I asked her a simple question she threw her phone down, (she had her headphones on and music blasting) and stormed around the counter, and told me "The instructions ARE POSTED RIGHT HERE!" She then realized that there were no instructions out and said "someone must have moved the instructions." Reluctantly, she gave me the information. I was so distraught I LEFT. This location is very convenient but that doesn't constitute the rudeness of the workers. Went here to do a 10-panel urine for an employer. I did schedule an appt and used the check in option which is great, however, when I got confirmation the lady behind the desk waited at least 5 mins, called about 3 ppl ahead of me , before she says "if I text you come up" well for one she waited before stating that and didn't explain no more than that. When nobody responded or came to the front desk she tells the other worker "ain't nobody came up here yet and I then said it more than once" and the other lady proceeds to say " oh well we don't care it's Monday, move on " and then she starts laughing. Huh ???? Where they do that at? That was the rudest mess I had heard in a while especially supposedly dealing with professionals. There isn't anything professional about this location. They are some of the rudest women I have encountered in a public setting in a min. I don't even like going to this location and won't be returning in the future if I ever have to use them again. Corporate needs to send out some of their ppl, posing as a customer to see how bad it is at this office because they are total assholes here and they are going to end up pissing off the wrong person and LORD forbid. read more

The receptionist at this office was so rude, she was disrespectful and very mean. She was yelling at the customers about the sign in process about and very demanding. I am trying to find out who is in charge to report this. Blows my mind how someone would allow that behavior in the medical field. read more

I didn't have an issues and was very pleased with the service. I arrived at 9:15a and was done within 20 minutes. They have easy self check-in kiosk for you to enter your info and wait to be called. I really think the negative reviews were from people that showed up during their lunch hour or end of the day when they are about to close. It's best to go early morning for the best results. read more

Great location. Free parking. The ladies were like little robots. They say the same spill so much their words run together. They had to repeat everything to me thrice. I was like, "huh?". Eventually I had a quick and efficient human experience. I'm sure it's best to be standoffish with everyone in their occupation and treat everyone the exact same, to be safe. I recommend seat covers in the restroom for the ladies though. read more
