I'll admit, I was a little nervous walking into this Labcorp location after seeing the 2.6-star rating. Thankfully, however, my experience couldn't have been more different -- it was truly a 5-star visit. I originally scheduled an appointment for 8:45 AM, but due to traffic I arrived about 10 minutes late. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to reach a real Labcorp employee through their phone service (press 7) and let them know. They were incredibly accommodating and reassured me that it wouldn't be an issue and that my appointment spot would still be available when I arrived. Although it's a typical Labcorp location, the check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff was incredibly friendly from the moment I arrived. The phlebotomists were patient, professional, and kind. When the first phlebotomist had trouble finding a vein, she didn't rush or force it -- instead, she took the time to get someone who could, which I genuinely appreciated. That's when James stepped in, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He immediately picked up on the fact that I was nervous and went out of his way to make me feel more at ease, keeping the conversation light and genuinely comforting. There was a small miscommunication about how many vials were needed (it ended up being 8), which meant I had to be restuck to collect the remaining 4. Even with that, James remained calm, reassuring, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. Technically, I was stuck three times, and as someone who hates getting blood drawn, I can honestly say this was still not a bad experience at all. The care, empathy, and professionalism - especially from James - made what could have been a stress situation surprisingly manageable. If you're hesitant because of the rating, don't be. Based on my visit, this location absolutely deserves a higher score.

The hospital system that I was recently hired for sent me to this Quest location for drug test…read more Having previously been a traveling RN, I have taken numerous drug tests at labs all over the United States. When I entered into this Quest location, it was clean, had lots of seating available and a TV for entertainment. There was not an individual at the front desk but there was a kiosk just left of the window for signing in. Perhaps a sign that says "please sign in on the kiosk" would be helpful to have at the desk as there was an older gentleman there that did not know to sign in and he could have potentially waited a while because he was not signed in. After a few minutes, an employee came to the desk and asked if everyone in the lobby had signed in on the kiosk. She also asked who was there for a drug screening and instructed us on the portion of the paperwork that we needed to complete prior to being called back. I was called back pretty quickly for not having an appointment scheduled (I have waited an hour or more at some locations when I went without an appointment). While she was friendly, I do not remember the associate telling me her name. She told me to put my belongings into a cabinet (which we did not lock), handed me a cup and said "you have 2 minutes to give me urine above this line. Do not flush the toilet and bring the cup out with you when you're done". I was not told to wash my hands prior to giving the sample. Once I was done I was told to set the cup in the counter and use the hand sanitizer. I was then told to date and initial the labels for the specimen and sign on the electronic pad. I asked what I was signing on the pad for and she said that I was as just verifying that the correct name was listed on the screen and that it was my urine provided. She then said "you're all done". I asked "do I get a copy of the form that proves that I completed the drug screening?" She replied "yes it will be texted to you". While all Associates were pleasant and served me quickly, I had to ask a lot of questions which I felt should have been explained to me. I rated 3 stars because the facility was very clean, I was in and out quickly and the associates were pleasant to work with.
