When I first arrived in the building I went to the wrong floor to see they moved their office to another floor. When I entered their office I was greeted by someone at the front desk and there was only one person in the waiting area. I had to come here to get blood work done, and thankfully had an appointment. I only waited 10 minutes and was in. Before being taken to the back, I gave my insurance card and information to the woman in the front. She was friendly, but forgot to give me back my insurance card. I was called back up by the other woman in reception and she barked at me to give her my insurance card. I said I never got it back and the other woman gave it to her. She was pretty rude and had a know-it-all type of attitude. She was also talking pretty rudely to her co-workers. I felt uncomfortable and realized some of the workers there did too. Thankfully a wonderful woman by the name of Ellenore took my blood and she was so sweet. I almost passed out the last time I had blood drawn and felt lightheaded, but she distracted me and I left feeling fine. I've been told results are usually pretty quick, but they took 2 weeks to get my results for some reason. They do have an app where you can also check results when they're ready which is very convenient. read more

I've been going there for the past few years and they are the rudest staff I've ever encountered as a whole. Every single person in there is rude and talks to you like you are stupid. Every single person in that place really hates their job and it shows. Today I saw them send an old lady home to get her paperwork when they could've just called the doctors office for her and had them fax it over. This lady was very elderly. It was ridiculous! I've complained to the company about them three times already but nothing ever changes. I hate going there but it's the closest to my house and they are the only ones that ever have availability. These days going for any lab work is stressful and time consuming. This visit was by far the least stressful and shortest time spent. I did a random drop in hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I waited maybe 15-20 minutes which for a drop in was amazing. The whole process once my name was called was 5 minutes tops. Every time my doctor needs blood work, I get sent to LabCorp. It's actually a fairly easy process now. You just look online for an office and you can see what types of testing they do. You can also see what time slots are available and schedule your appointment online with a click of a button. I chose the one in Arcadia because it's only 5 minutes from my work. On Saturday, I scheduled an appointment for Monday morning from my phone. This office is on Huntington Drive (the one way section) and it'll be on your right hand side. There's plenty of parking. Once you're in, just go to the 4th floor. I'm knocking off a star because they don't have a receptionist and seem to be short handed as others have mentioned. As soon as I walked in, I had to stand there for a few minutes before somebody gave me the sign in sheet. They also had 2 babies that morning and probably the reason they were running late. You know how fussy they can be LOL. Overall, the waiting room wasn't too crowded. (4 other people) My appointment was for 11AM, but they didn't call me in until around 11:20AM. The same lady who checked me in and asked for my insurance card was also the one who drew my blood. She apologized for the wait and I was out of there within minutes. Also, no bruises the next day! (I went one time in Glendora and the guy who drew my blood left me a HUGE bruise that went all the way down my arm.. so gross.) This is by far the best LabCorp I've visited. My only visit here was a great experience (as great as it could be for a glucose test). To start, I didn't even intend to come here! I tried going to Quest, but didn't realize they were closed today. LabCorps was just down the hall so my husband suggested we check them out. Lo and behold they were open! Upon walking in, the two gals behind the desk helped me even though I didn't have a scheduled appointment. I filled out some paperwork, waited for 15 minutes or so, then was given the glucose drink to chug. After chugging it down, I was told that I'd need to wait an hour for the glucose drink to do it's thing. After an hour, I was called back, my blood was drawn, and voila!, I was on my way home. I appreciated the quick and efficient service here and will be back whenever I need something else done. read more

Worst front desk person I've ever experienced in any Dr's office or lab I've ever been to. Although a soft voice, very brash and aggressive. A holier-than-thou-know-it all-attitude. I sat for about 40 minutes and watched her treat each and every customer the same way. Jody, for sure, customer service is not your field. Go into something where you don't have to deal with people. Front desk receptionist (not the lab techs, the woman who checks people in) is incredibly abrasive and rude. I get that it isn't a terribly fun job to be the person who deals with patients and has to check people in and check them out but there is absolutely no need to be rude. After being rude to me, the receptionist (not Kay, the other woman) then made rude remarks about me in Spanish (assuming, I'm guessing, that I didn't understand what she was saying). I would have left if I didn't need to get my blood work done! She then stated that "I say things they way they are - I'm blunt sometimes but it isn't personal I'm just saying things the way they are". Next month I'm back to going to one of the labcorps in west Pasadena where the staff actually seems to like their jobs (high recommendation to the folks near Huntington hospital just west of fair oaks who do a consistently excellent job). read more

Beware! Make sure you understand what your doctor orders for your labs. Veronica was inefficient and negligent. The doctor had ordered one 24 urine collection. She misread the order and told me that I had to do two. When I asked her why it was two samples when I normally do one, she was very agitated. Is this the health care I deserve? At the end of the day, they have to deal with two buckets of my urine..hahaha. But incompetency is incompetency. Please respect the time of the patients you are providing health care to. I went to this LabCorp as it is by my house. The only thing I would say that needs improvement is the bedside manners of the front desk staff. I felt like the receptionist was rushing over everything when there was no need to rush and I caught her before she made any errors. First she almost had me down under the wrong insurance; second she put my dad's birthday on the UA specimen cup (I am a dependent under my dad's insurance and hate it when providers assume I am my dad since his name is on the card.) A few minutes later, the same girl who registered me left to go out for lunch, was she rushing just because she wanted to go on her break?! If so, very uncalled for; if you are nearing your breaking and still have an assignment to do just finish the assignment completely then go on break (unless instructed to do by your supervisor). The phlebotomist who drew my blood was nice and helpful. I'll use this location again, but I hope things can improve. read more

Most incompetent staff I have ever encountered. This company is good at collecting info on 50 ways to bill you but are incapable of getting your test done in a timely fashion. Mostly for walk-in's but it's not recommended especially on Saturday's. If you come on a Saturday, be there before they open to guarantee a spot to be seen. Staff here is very nice, at times they're stern, but they're to the point. Gotta give them a break because they see hundreds of people everyday and try to fit everyone in the schedule. I just got my blood drawn here and color me impressed! Easy, fast, painless, and professional. I was actually 15-min late because I forgot my order at home and had to loop back, but I didn't have to wait long to be seen, 20-min tops. I told the lady drawing my blood that most people have a hard time because I have such small, thin veins and they end up poking me several times on both arms, before finally finding a spot on either of my hands. She felt around my arm, managed to quickly find two good veins, and went straight to work! I don't ever look at them drawing my blood (I hate needles), but I've had blood drawn before where it was painful or there was a lot of uncomfortable pressure. This time, I felt only a slight initial prick and nothing else! Gave 4 tubes, lasting about a minute or so, and then I was done! Will only come here from now on for future blood work. read more

PARENTS BEWARE!! Do NOT bring your baby here!!! I would give this lab ZERO stars if yelp would allow me to. They are incompetent, will subject your baby to an awful experience, and then they will blame you for it. They even have the audacity to ask you if you would like them to try to stick your baby in the other arm since they messed up on the first 2 vials they collected. They will then call you to try to schedule a second draw because they weren't able to get any results the first time around due to not having sufficient blood to run the tests. NO THANKS! The lady switched vials well short of the amount of blood necessary to run the tests and after realizing it was short decided to blame us for not controlling a crying baby. Why would a phlebotomist switch the vials if there was not enough blood in the vial yet??? They are not equipped to handle pediatric patients and I truly feel they are capable of great patient harm in regards their incompetence with babies!! I will be reporting you to the proper agency for investigating your questionable practices Labcorp! read more

I will give this place 2 stars because of the 2 front office people that were working the day I was in. I witnessed a phlebotomist come to the front office and "tell" the receptionist ( a lady inputting on the computer) that "she will need someone else to draw blood with her because this is ridiculous". The front office person then responded back in a raised voice. They went back and forth for about 1 minute. It was very uncomfortable to be in the waiting room and I can tell by the look in the faces of the people waiting they felt the same. It is to be expected that if your office is open Saturday from 8-11:30 you will be busy. Maybe a smile on your face and at least pretending to like your job would help a bit. We are all here to get blood work, we are fasting and to have to witness a dispute among the individuals who are going to have a needle in our veins, is not the ideal situation. They have a new system now, you have to check in with a computer station in the front. Easy instructions. Have your driver License and insurance card ready. I am 9 months pregnant and came to Labcorp as a "walk-in" as soon as I walked in the girl at the front desk stated that she could not help me as she was going to be by herself and this site is appointment only. I explained to her that I tried making an appointment as soon as my Dr. gave me the order and the first apt is 8/24/2020 and I am due 8/20/2020. She was not having it and stated that she would give me the address to the facilities that are taking walk-in's. I told her that I am 9 months pregnant and I am in pain and cannot be walking around town. I felt the tears rolling down my mask. She then said "you can wait but I don't know for how long." So I told her I would wait and she said "ok have a seat" she wasn't friendly at all however, I understand her job can be stressful and I am probably the 100th client walking in. Shortly after I sat down, another woman called me up to the desk to check me in. I have been helped by her before when I took my glucose test and she was amazing. She did it again, she sat me inside and told me she heard me and she would take her lunch after she helped me. She drew my blood and was pleasant and friendly like the last time I was in. I wanted to write this review because of Veronica; I understand we are in a pandemic and everyone is short staffed and it can become stressful however, essential workers like Veronica are greatly appreciated as she sympathizes with clients and goes above and beyond to help. I don't think anyone likes getting their blood drawn, but if you have to, I recommend this LabCorp location. By far my favorite LabCorp location in the area. They're located in the building directly across from Arcadia Methodist Hospital. I've been in here several times and the lab personnel have always been friendly. The bathroom is clean and their phlebotomists are good and efficient. They do tend to be understaffed, but that's not the employees' fault, that's a management issue. But even though they are understaffed they're still friendly. Saturdays tend to get really busy so there can be a bit of a wait. You can make appointments directly on the LabCorp website and it is quick when you have an appointment. Last time I was in there, with an appointment, I was out within 10 minutes. read more

I like this location because it opens at 6:30am and I have never had to wait long without an appointment. Best time to come is usually around late morning, right before lunch. Although lunch time is not busy, several staff members take lunch at that time too so sometimes there is just 1 person here during lunch. I came once when there was only 1 person here during lunch and had to wait about 20-25 minutes. Still not bad for not having an appointment. The people here are friendly an good at taking blood. I have been to other locations where they tell me I have small veins and end up poking me several times and needing to use a butterfly needle to dry my blood. This place uses a regular size needle on me and never had an issue with finding my veins. My only disappointment is that they don't keep insurance records so each time you have to present your information unlike other places I have been to. read more

1 star for getting your blood drawn - if thats fun for you?!?!?! Otherwise, this place is incapable of any kind of help, even though they employ a receptionist. I kid you not -they know nothing, and have no idea how to service anyone, they are only trained on how to take an insurance, scan it and call out a name. They don't have access to computer - which means no email, outlook calendar, printer or any other technology that would facilitate service or move paperwork around. Ironic since hospitals, doctors offices and clinical labs thrive on paperwork, process and procedures. Im bewildered! Convenient AF. I'm a long time veteran of getting my blood drawn ever since I can remember for a genetic condition that pretty much makes my "normal" 25% less energy and oxygen than most people's "normal." I compiled a huge book of stickers as a kid because I didn't like candy and always chose stickers - scratch and sniff and fuzzy ones were my favorite. No clue where that book is now. Enough nostalgia. Point is, I've run the gamut of having needles professionally stuck into my veins for a long time and at some phases every few months. I actually enjoy when it's done flawlessly; it's an art. It's an in and out job here; I've been taken in on time, every time (getting there 5-10 minutes before or even right on time sometimes and I've only ever scheduled weekday early mornings). Can't review for walk-ins as I am not a walk in type for lab appointments since it's too "anything goes" and they probably do assume if you're walking in you have all the time to wait. I get the feeling that when you demonstrate you're on time/serious about getting your appointment on time by showing up on time/a bit beforehand to process, they afford you the same respect for your time which is fair. I highly recommend making an appointment, especially with how easy they make scheduling. I love the ease of access and interface of their website. Makes scheduling, rescheduling and cancelling ridiculously easy...there was one point I rescheduled one appointment, it had to be, 5 times with unfettered ease. Even if the phlebotomist here is maybe fresh (1 year experience) they still do really, really well; then again, I've always been told I have the "perfect" veins. I have to say that going to this labcorp location has been the best experience I've ever had at a lab. The staff is beyond friendly and compassionate. I've had to come twice within the last two weeks for a glucose test for my pregnancy and have gotten sick both times. Today when I got sick one of the nurses sat with me and comforted me while I lost it. They had wet cloths and water ready for me when I was done being sick. They made me feel better about everything. I love this place. You can make an appointment or walk in and they're very efficient. As you can be in and out of there in minutes. The staff is friendly. Although maybe they should lose the flower pens and just put regular ones up front since it's seems to be an issue. If I were asked for a pen several times a day it would eventually get annoying to me too. read more

Nobody enjoys getting blood drawn or labs done. I especially dislike when I have to wait a long time in the waiting room just to get it done. This is the place to go if you need labs done. That is, as long as your insurance covers this place. Mine does. There are plenty of LabCorp locations in the San Gabriel Valley. I've been to a few of them, but none as easy as this one. This location hardly ever has a wait longer than 5-10 minutes. It's clean, parking is easy and abundant, and the office folks are friendly. My sister has taken her son here and has mentioned to me that they are good with kids. That's a huge plus. Not that I ever want to come back, but when I need to, this is where I'll go. read more
