Phlebotomist Gretchen was friendly, professional, & took extra time on my uncooperative arms, finding a suitable vein. Came in to take a drug test for my new employer, never in my life have I had an experience more worse than this. The lines were extremely long, I waited roughly and hour to pee in a cup. The woman at the front desk was so cold and rude to everyone. Never acknowledged anyone who approached the counter, just stared at her computer the entire time she talked. Everyone was told to check in on a iPad looking device and I couldn't help but feel so bad for the elderly who were checking in, most are not tech savvy and some assistance & compassion would have been nice to see from the employees. After an i hour it was finally my turn and I don't know if it's just their protocol but they made me feel like I was a drugged up felon. I had to lock all my belongings in a box, wash my hands before using the restroom, told to go pee in the cup, don't flush, use hand sanitizer, sign and confirm all of the documents and then was allowed to wash my hands. Just an overall unpleasant experience... will be letting my employer know they had poor customer service. read more

I had to drive to this location after I went to the Pasadena location and finding out they don't do drug screening until 12:30pm. This location does them earlier. The one thing that is weird is that you have to sign in at the front desk, then you have to sign in at the kiosk? This is the first time going to this location. It's very close to my work so it was convenient for me to get labwork done. When I arrived I was greeted by a tech named Blanca. She approached me with a great attitude and over all outgoing personality. She assisted in helping me right away to get checked in. While she was putting my information into the computer we were talking about Mexican Mother's Day and just having a lovely conversation which was great because I am chatty myself. She then told me to proceed and wait in a room and even though the wait was a little long, she came in to explain to me that she had to call my doctor because her notes were not manageable. I really appreciated that she took the time to explain to me in detail what my doctor wanted and what actually can be done in a Labcorp. While she was taking my blood we began to chat about our private lives and that just made time pass by quickly. It was such a nice experience and I will go again just to be able to interact with Blanca again. read more

First things first, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. save yourself the time and make one before coming. I didn't and I had to wait over an hr to get seen. They have special drug screening hours from 10-1 so make sure you're at least signed in and checked in before 1. I personally came at 12:30 thinking this whole process would only be 15 mins but nahssss literally the whole waiting room was filled with about 12 people. Laura is the worst tech there. I walked in and saw her shoving food in her mouth and next thing she is "trying" to draw my blood. I told her that I had small veins and she said " I've heard it all day" and it was only 905 am. She pokes and shoves the needle around into my right arm - no luck. Then she couldn't find a vein in my left so she pokes my actual HAND which hurt so much. Laura continued to move the needle around and the blood was too slow so she removed it. No luck on second try and now I am In pain. I have an appt with my doctor to have the hand poke checked out bc I am unable to move it. She is negligent for the cause of my injury. Laura then calls another tech and bam first try and she got it done. Make sure NOT to get Laura unless you have easy large veins. read more

This place has the worst bedside manor I've ever experienced. I went on 9/24/19 to do stool test and blood. I didn't know I had to have cups to store stool samples in. So I had taken the sample in a bag. The lady that helped me was so disgusted and repulsed by what I did. She asked me who told me to do that, that it wasn't sterile and they couldn't not take it. Her face tho, was what made me feel so embarrassed and stupid for what I did. I almost just ran out the door of how stupid this women made me feel. It wouldn't matter anyway cause she had all my information so I just stayed and had her draw my blood. When I returned today for dropping off the stool, no one was at the front desk and when I could finally flag someone down she said I needed to check in through the computer with my driver's license, she wasn't nice either. After I finally got helped the other women started scolding me because I forgot to write the date on the bottles. I just quietly just stood there and wrote today's date. After I was done I asked her what the ladies name that had helped me yesterday is, she said Kathy and I walked out. All I have to say is don't expect anyone to care at this place. This is place is good, however, the visit today is the worst. The lady name called Kathleen Waller is the worst, do not let here touch you or your kids. I took my new born baby to this place for a blood test, this lady acts like she knows what she is doing, try to get blood from the heel of my daughter, but this is her first time and she squeeze the baby's entire feet, I feel she almost break the baby's ankle. For 15 minutes she can't even get blood for the test, and she keep saying she knows what she is doing. I told her to stop and got another one who got everything done less than 5 minutes. Also, the lady Kathleen didn't tell me if change another person we need start the blood draw all over again, for sure she knows nothing about this job. For a baby just born this week, the lady squeezed her feet so hard just to practice, I will give 0 star, and she should not work in this field any more. read more

They are unprofessional. The nurse punched the needle in my 9 month old son's arm and searched the vein roughly with the needle inside for more than 30 seconds. My son started crying when she forced to draw the blood when unsuccessfully found the vein. The nurse refused to give me her last name and license number. When I insisted, the nurse said her husband is a lawyer. So what? I told her she punctured the needle to my son, I have the right to get her full name and license number. Long story short, she finally gave me her name. I just did a online search, most likely, she doesn't have a phlebotomy license. Drug screening for employment takes forever!!! I guess they take only one person at a time and at certain times. No excuse for customer satisfaction though. People are constantly figiety, waiting for their turn. They should really consider another method to make it a little faster/more efficient. Waiting OVER an hr and a half is ridiculous especially when you drank a ton of water prior... A lot of places take 30mins - 1hour to get you in and out but this LabCorp took me less than 20 minutes. Today they were off. Showed up at 930 and there was no one at the desk. Patients were already stacking up and no one had been out to help. Gathered consensus was that they stepped out for about 40 min. Finally several people roll out of the back room and start getting to work. I would give zero stars, but I have to say that they somewhat redeemed themselves. Once they were back to work, they got to work. They seemed efficient and well oiled. Normally, these places have a lobby full of people. Not this place. Took us in right away. I'm only giving it 3 stars because apparently the blood specimen could not be tested properly due to handling (it could have been here, in transit or the actual lab) but in any case, the blood tests had to be redone. read more

This Labcorp is a good place to get blood tests. The nurses are very efficient and meticulous when taking your blood samples, and the place is really clean, too! I suggest going here early before it starts to get packed (maybe at around 7:00-7:30 AM). I learned that the hard way last year... Hahah! read more

Made an appointment at 9am and came in at 9 for glucose testing (ughhhh) phlebotomist told me are u prepared to stay for 2 hours. Cannot leave the lab. I have done this before and i dreaded it. Signed in, took my first draw at 9:08 with Gretchen. I didn't feel a thing. Called me in an hr later and drew a second time and one more time after that. Pretty quick and easy. The staff are friendly and funny ppl. sitting here for 2 hrs I can hear all their conversations. I would definitely recommend this labcorp over the other ones. The wait here isn't the best but I've gotta say, as someone who usually gets super anxious and faint when I get lab draws, I have never been more at ease than with Cathy. She had me lie down, gave me a wet towel on the forehead, and just overall distracted me from getting lightheaded. And she was super nice, polite and didn't rush me, so what more could you ask for? They asked me to pay over $350 and when I asked them a question about what a billing code was they said they don't know. Had to take my daughter for pediatric bloodwork this morning. Made an early appt, the wait was not bad. My little one was not happy at all, and very afraid. The 2 nurses that assisted were beyond amazing!! My daughter was upset that she didn't want it done, but didn't even realize the needle was already in. Was done fast, and even more importantly the nurse was gentle and got the needle in right. Childrens veins aren't always as visible as adults. read more

Super Super Super RUDE... okay so I go in with my 12 year old sister and right away the lady [Nancy Romero ] kicks me out saying that they don't let kids allowed not even in the waiting area. So I'm mad because I just wasted gas money. So I take her to my aunt's house which lives 20 mins from there. So I come back and ask me if I have enough bladder to give her because if I don't I have to wait an hour and if I step outside I fail automatically .Okay so after I take my urine test she looks at my pee and tell me that I failed, when I have never done drugs and I ask her confused, "what?!" And she stays quite then replays "it takes 48 hours to get the test results and we don't get the results here we sent them in a different laboratory" So I was already offended and now I'm scare that she might fail me on purpose... read more
