That said, we didn't expect much from this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. Gamja tang which is the potato pork bone stew was on point. I had the soontubu which is the soft tofu stew. Enjoyed it. Kids had the spicy chicken and pork, and all were flavorful. The only dish that didn't meet expectations is the jajangmein. It tasted like a gravy hamburger pasta with no trace of jajang sauce. Btw, felt bad because service was great but I thought tip was included thinking tps meant tip. It doesn't. Sorry guys.

Since I was with friends who have been before I followed their lead in ordering a number of different platters to share which was truly the way to go. Everything was absolutely delicious! The sticky rice, noodles, japche, and three types of chicken were amazing (the spicy chicken being the best). Although the noise level was pretty loud, the food and service made up for it. They kept a close watch and came by regularly to fill our water glasses! The owner was right in there as well walking, serving, making sure everyone was taken care of. To top off the meal we had his Yuzu tea (hope I spelled that right) which just amazing. I'm definitely going back! :)

They resembled futomaki and were really thick, as compared to traditional maki with less rice. As a result, I felt like the fish was lost in the mix. We ordered some other stuff like chicken wings and chicken skewers, both were okay. I don't want to downgrade a Korean BBQ restaurant just based on the sushi. Everything was presented nicely and the portions were decent.

Our waitress was very attentive and very sweet. She showed us how to order online with our phones. Very interesting system ! I loved how the food is brought to us by a baby elevator .. I guess the kitchen is in a different level! Food: They brought out some starters that tasted delicious I was so impressed with the cucumber starter dish so yummy with a kick to it. We got kimchi , marinated onions and then the Chop suey was delish too ! Every dish had awesome flavours. We went ahead and ordered different meats and shrimp. My all time favourite was the ox tongue soo good The grill was getting dirty as we were cooking so much on it she changed it for us that was nice as well. There's a lot of variety to choose from and it is all you can eat so you may order as much as you want but if you leave anything on the plate they charge you 1$ extra so be careful when you order too much hihi. Overall service ambiance and food was AMAZING and worth every penny! Definitely recommend this place if you've never tried an ayce Korean bbq resto! Cheers!

There is ample parking as they have there own parking lot and there is also a bus stop a few meters down the street. The restaurant is a small quite place and has about 15 tables insides. The menu is down all online as well as the ordering process. The staff was friendly and was able to explain everything properly. We stated off with some vegetable that we grilled. The vegetables were raw and unseasoned. We had the following vegetables. Onions and zucchini and mushrooms. We grilled them and we had to dip them in the sauces to add flavor. For the meats. Short ribs were extremely fatty and chewy and the seasoning was bland. Short ribs on no bone Was very fatty and chewy and the way it was cut was like it was cut by hand not even made it hard to grill. Ox tongue Had same seasoning as the short ribs. Not much flavor in the sauce. It was ok nothing special. Pork belly Was cut so small made it hard to grill properly. No seasoning on the pork belly. Pineapple Was fresh and not canned and we grilled it as well. It's a nice place but with a few improvements it can be a winner.

I am not sure if their stomachs are just intolerant to the spice of if something was contaminated with the dish. It's odd because the ingredients are mostly similar to other dishes we ordered (ordered a bulgogi box without issues). I thought the food was tasty and generously portioned. The fried stuff (sweet potato and tonkatsu) was a bit on the oily side, but that would be my only criticism. Removing a star because of the GI issues my in-laws had but I think it was a bit of a fluke. I would return and give them another chance.

When I had it the next day as leftovers, I tested to see if it was hot enough and it tasted amazing! But when I sat down to eat it with everything, again, I lost the taste of it after I took one bite of the tteokbokki, so I guess for me I ought to eat them separately or the soup first! The silly tofu was amazing! I really love it! The tteokbokki was great too! The cheese wasn't needed for me, still nice. Their gimbap is really nice! I love that crunch inside! I like how their kimchi is crunchy, but I wish it was spicy because I love the burning sensation. Nothing they gave me was spicy, unfortunately. Maybe they have something spicy if I ask as a special? I don't know what this brown side dish was, something like small cubes potatoes? But it was very nice too. I was happy to get some veggies in my diet. This purchase lasted me 3 meals! (Added my own rice after) so the price didn't feel so bad! I still want to find time to come personally so I could save those delivery fees though! Thanks for the great food again! Xoxoxoxo

The pancheon side dishes were lacking: the noodles were nice but way too sweet, the cucumber and beam sprouts had a flavor that was a bit off, and also too sweet; the potato was decent. The Long Version: I love mochi. Like it's one of my favourite desserts. So when I saw that Fondue Haidilao had an UberEats deal for BOGO (buy one get one free) mochi, I had to check it out. Especially since our hotel was just around the corner. My husband does not enjoy hotpot and I'm uncertain how I feel about takeout hotpot anyway, so I just got the mochi, lol. It was $3.95 for 2 orders (since it was BOGO). Each order contains 3 pieces, so I got 6 pieces. They are small but still very reasonable for the price, especially BOGO. I ordered on the app and picked up. Pick-up was quick and smooth. Staff were courteous. The mochi were soft and chewy. They had finely grated coconut on the outside and custard on the inside. The custard was unfortunately not creamy but rather it had a more starchy consistency, a bit different from what I was expecting, but it was still ok. Note that since Haidilao is a Chinese chain, the mochi is Chinese-style not Japanese-style. I would love to try the hotpot at Haidilao one day. Maybe when my mom and I return for another mother-daughter trip to Montreal since the hubster does not like hotpot. Street parking only. Review #69 (2025)

Their menu is so diverse, the portions big, everything is flavourful and filling, they pay attention to all the details. From the moment you step in to the end of your meal, it's an experience. They give you an apron so you don't stain your clothes, they provide plenty of napkins and utensils, they pass by multiple times to clear your table and dirty dishes, they give you a hair tie so your hair doesn't get in your food. It's a fun time! There's music, or a noodle pull guy, or sometimes a dancer! They've really got it all. Make sure to réservé because this place is in high demand and it is impossible to get a table last minute if you are a big group. I got the sukiyaki soup base which is soy and onions. It was really good! Bot spicy at all and paired well with the lamb, beef, and pork we ordered. Also got some corn and it was so juicy and sweet! You can still order noodles and not pay the extra for the employee to pull them in front of you, they are still fresh and taste delicious. I don't find it too expensive considering I ate almost as if it was an all you can eat and the price was the same but you're getting better service and quality of food.

I conveyed my disappointment and asked for another cake, but they had no other fresh cake. They offered a frozen one, but it would take 6 hours to thaw out, and I needed it for consumption in about 2 hours after I picked it up, so that was not an option. We asked if they would give us a discount, but they refused. I still kept it because I was in charge of the cake and needed to bring something. The way it was handled was completely unacceptable. It was humiliating to present, especially since this is a specialty cake and not some homemade box cake. Their customer service is definitely lacking. Given the circumstances, I believe I was entitled to some kind of compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. Just wanted others to know the terrible experience I had.
