Last night there were only two of us, and the restaurant was less than half full. Service was slow, though we weren't rushed, so that wasn't a major issue. What stood out was that no one checked on our table or asked whether we wanted dessert or coffee. My main disappointment, however, was the $36 "sushi and sashimi" plate. While it included several pieces of sashimi, two specialty tapas, and a soup or salad--overall a fair value--the four pieces of California roll included were subpar. They were loosely packed, difficult to pick up, and felt more like something from a fast-food sushi kiosk than a restaurant of this caliber. This isn't the first time I've ordered this dish and encountered the same issue. It's unfortunate to see an otherwise beautiful plate diminished by such a weak component. That said, it remains a great place to visit overall, especially as a BYOW spot.

The decor and most of the staff and menu items have remained the same, though prices have increased (obviously) and there is no longer sashimi for lunch sadly. The food is pretty much on par with other ayce sushi places, though their presentation can be a bit nicer. I particularly like their eggplant sushi pizza, which is essentially a tempura eggplant with avocado and spicy salmon on top , with a flourish of microgreens for glamour. They have a few things that other places don't, such a hot and sour soup. Service is pretty good and the speed at which dishes come is pretty rapid. The ordering is now done all online, with your phone after scanning a QR code. The dining room is also quite spacious and they can accommodate small children if needed, and parking is ample. Overall a good experience but I think I'll stick to the places that do sashimi for lunch for a similar price.

I walked 10 minutes to my hotel to eat it , and the wonton inside the burrito was still crispy. Overall, it was delicious, it hit the sushi craving, even though I love wasabi with my sushi. I asked why I was charged $19.50 when the price listed on the menu is $16.95, and apparently there's 15% tax in Quebec. Wasn't expecting that! The other menu items looked good, and innovative. I almost got the sushi tacos. I'd definitely go back.

For main, we ordered some rolls based on recommendation and while waiting realized that maybe we ordered too much-Kamikase, Dynamite and Poulailler were all delicious. We ended up taking some of the food home. Kitchen was closing at 9:30 so our server helped us navigate the extensive menu. He was leaving and let us know that someone else would finish the service which was a nice touch (more often this doesn't happen) Overall, solid Sushi spot with a creative twist.

We went as a group of ten for a friend's birthday and even with a bigger group, the service was insanely quick. It was almost like they had a machine in the back making all of the food because for such a large quantity to make, it was served within minutes. The food itself was SO good- I think we ordered 3 or 4 rounds of it. (I don't think many of us will be able to move easily this morning). There was nothing I tried that I didn't like. From the assortment of sushi and calamari to the general tso chicken and other meat and shrimp, noodle and vegetable dishes- we were one happy bunch. The waiter was so kind and handled our group as though it was no sweat. Even when a wine glass was accidentally broken, he didn't make us feel bad about it at all. I would definitely come back but it may not be for some time- I think we outdid ourselves. I highly recommend it though!
