Nutella latte and cannoli
Nancy M.

Loved that this was a block away from our airbnb when we visited SF! Coffee hit the spot and the cannoli was wow! I ordered the Nutella latte because I like trying different things. It was nice! The cannoli was WILD! First off, it's huge. Taking the first bite was messy but worth it don't skip on the cannoli! Treat yourself!

I Love La Stazione, the home of the Original SF Nutella Latte!

This local, authentically gorgeous cafe serves of the most delicious, made with love coffee brews in SF! It has a true neighborhood, homegrown feel! Owners and staff are delightful and can't beat their seasonal delicacies! My favorite is the yummy, and the original Nutella Latte! I stumbled upon the Nutella Caffe in Chicago, which brought back delicious memories! It's conveniently located blocks from the dog patch train station!

Cannoli Classico

Came by La Stazione for a quick snack and drink in the mid afternoon and picked up a matcha latte and classic cannoli. When I arrived, the staff was very warm and welcoming. I ordered my matcha latte, which was prepared right away so I didn't have to wait long. I was going to grab a muffin but they were sold out of the one I wanted, which was understandable since it was later on, so I opted for a cannoli instead. The cannoli looked delicious and well made. The flavor was on point but the shell was a bit hard, as if it had been sitting out for a while. I'm not entirety sure how the shells are made but if there is a way to have it made a bit fresher or less hard, I think that would be just a small opportunity as it did hurt my teeth. Otherwise though, it's a really convenient and cute neighbor cafe for some morning pastries and beverage!

I absolutely love coming to this cozy little coffee shop right next to the 22nd Street Caltrain station. The coffee is phenomenal. In the picture is the New Orleans cold brew but their Nutella latte and iced latte are also amazing. Plus, it's always worth treating yourself to their cannoli!

I've been coming every Sunday for the last few months. Can't believe I haven't done a review. 1. My test to all coffee shops is a quad cap with oat / almond and it's made perfect each time. The espresso they use I believe is pto coffee which I use to drink on occasion when they would pop up a local brewery for Sunday brunches. ( brewery now closed ) I live for strong coffees and espresso which is what makes me decide if I going back. I did venture out 2 weeks ago and got the New Orleans cold brew soo good. I use go to a cafe that made this a few years ago which was my go to so to have here in case I want to switch it up is a treat. Not sure if it's only seasonal. This is so bad but I can't remember the lady's name on Sundays when we go but it's her the reason I go back. She remembers my husband and I each Sunday we go back. She knows what we get and as always we try a new cannoli we haven't tried. Pretty much have tried them all and so fresh each time. The shop itself is small but if it's not busy you can drink it inside or there is a space outside you can sit.

Original cannoli and Nutella latte

I had to take an exam close by and wanted to study at a local cafe. I found this one and the minute I saw cannoli I was fast walking there. The barista was very friendly and we had a nice conversation. There's so many cannolis to pick from that he recommended the original one which is just chocolate chips. I also got the Nutella latte because everyone seems to love it. But I thought it was super sweet for me, but I also drink black coffee regularly than lattes. I wanted to study there but there was only out door seating and very limited space inside. There was WiFi but didn't seem to be a restroom at the cafe. And there was construction happening close that I decided to just eat my cannoli and take my coffee togo. Not sure if I would come back and make the trip but it was a nice pit stop.

Holy cannoli!

tldr; good coffee! speedy and friendly service! cannoli is a bit pricey but worth a try. Situated right next to the 22nd Street Caltrain, La Stazione is a coffee shop that's great to hit up after a long train ride (just turn left from the Caltrain exit!). Service was super friendly and speedy. The americano I got was solid, flavorful, and a serious wake-me-up. - Summer Berry Cannoli: Apparently a seasonal flavor! The filling is very reminiscent of yogurt and the dried berries have a tartness that contrasts really well with the creaminess. The shell was flaky and crunchy -- just a very nice textural and flavor experience. I really liked this!

Cafeteria grade crappuccino + tax & tip ~$6

Best option if you're about to head out the 22nd St CalTrain stop. Friendly people, food and some outside seating. Stick to the usual flavored lattes/drinks. Not coffee connoisseur grade with that cafeteria grade cappuccino, over-extracted espresso shots under froth to burn yo mouth for a good part of the ride

This review is long over due! I went for a fun event they were throwing last year -- showcasing local businesses from drinks, desserts, chocolate, coffee and pizza! The margaritas were delicious! On a regular day, before I get my lashes done, I stop by for a latte or drip coffee -- it's always good! Plus the staff is always friendly! Adorable storefront with outdoor seating. Can't wait to stop by again and finally snag a box of cannolis and try their Nutella latte! Oh, and they also serve wine! ;) You should make a stop at La Stazione when you're in the neighborhood or even if you're not! :)

Coming back with a more updated review to say that the owners of this cafe are simply the most welcoming, sweetest human beings in the city. I've never met such personable people. Everyone they interact with always leaves warm-hearted I'm sure! The smiles are very apparent. I brought my Mini Schnauzer in one time and he was so in love with all of the praise and energy he was receiving! Such sweet people... Their cannolis are delicious, truly one of the reasons why I'll keep coming back. But as my whole life has proven, I'm in love with their matcha latte. 10000000 stars for the service! I highly, wholeheartedly recommend coming in to support.

Cappuccino
Michael C.

I came here recently on a rainy day, and got a cappuccino and a ginger pear scone. They conveniently had a shaded outdoor seating area, which let me enjoy my coffee without getting poured on. The cappuccino was really solid; rich and creamy without too much acidity. The scone was also great; I loved how there were chunks of pear and ginger that added sweetness and texture whenever I got a chunk. It was a tad dry for me though, and I personally prefer the ginger scone from Piccino down the street. I also got a mocha for my friend to go, and they thought it was quite average (mochas are their to go drink). To me, it tasted a tad watered down, and the chocolate was a little gritty vs what I typically want. Overall, certainly worth a try! Didn't get a chance to try their cannolis, so definitely will be back sometime to give those a go.

Gibraltar
Tiffany D.

Corner dog patch neighborhood over coffee and wine shop! I got to walk my dog around here while dropping by for coffee in the morning! They have light pastries and cozy seats. Ample parking spaces too! Gibraltar is what I got. Caffeine does the trick to any form of calories to burn and staying focused.

Always a joy to know you don't have to go too far for a good mocha! [LOVE getting reacquainted with Potrero Hill hood in SF.]

Nice To Find A Great Mocha In A New Hood SITREP I was visiting friends in the Potrero Hood of SF over the weekend, and when in dire need of caffeine and a place to WiFi, thanks to the Yelp app, I found this delightful little spot La Stazione Coffee & Wine Bar. I either don't pay attention to signage all that well or I just missed the part that said "& Wine Bar" because my entire time there I had NO CLUE they served alcohol. In fact, my cup only said "La Stazoine" - and yet, when I did my check-in as I left, it clearly said "...& Wine Bar." "https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-stazione-coffee-and-wine-bar-san-francisco?select=aO96HgC1M-RB8eOlzDNtuQ So. Guess what I'm checking out next time? :D THE SETUP Situated just under the I-680 Freeway off to the West Side, this was only a 5 minute walk from the place I was staying. Don't blink: it's a small shop. I luckily grabbed the only table - it wasn't busy and their was a stool counter top as well. Even though there were no more than a few of us in the shop at any one time (staff included), there must have been a couple dozen people who just popped in & out to get that coffee / espresso / caffeine kick they so desperately needed! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-stazione-coffee-and-wine-bar-san-francisco?select=RlUS2AppAzTpJCX1FdGyDg&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w [This was late Sat morning / early afternoon, and so we're talking about "Walk of Shame" levels of dress & disarray from the patrons - I actually overstayed an extra hour I was having so much fun people-watching.] :D MOCHA House brews or Mochas tend to be my litmus tests of a place I've never been before in terms of assessing the beverage aspect of a business. This spot's Mocha was absolutely delicious and kept my taste buds humming while my fingers kept typing (now that they were *awake*) ;) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-stazione-coffee-and-wine-bar-san-francisco?select=aO96HgC1M-RB8eOlzDNtuQ&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w Add to this (though not always a factor), is "Do they have WiFi?" They did. Which I would have been sorely disappointed if they didn't since that was a Yelp filter I was using to locate a coffee shop. DECOR! I found out from the barista that the owners are artists and like to play around with different iconic forms. They like Mermaids. And so what a fun time it was to see both the Venus de Milo and Michelangelo's David *re-envisioned* as, yes, MERMAIDS! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/la-stazione-coffee-and-wine-bar-san-francisco?select=mr0SNZTGD_HOmI7Jfnl4Tw&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w THE LOWDOWN La Stazione fires on all pistons for me and I'll definitely be back here for a revisit!

Located in the legendary Mission District of San Francisco, this wine bar is a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy small bites and yummy crafted cocktails. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. There is no bad shot as the design artist made sure every section of this cute wine bar was picture perfect. Loved all my photos and videos. I look forward to returning to this exquisite wine bar!

The high top tables were a bit wobbly, so we spilled half a drink on there. The drinks are strong. I recommend going upstairs to sit instead if you want to hear your friends better. The tables are bigger up there too. The rooftop was closed off but I'd like to check it out sometime.

The marinated artichokes were good, not amazing, but a large portion and pleasant enough. I wish they had more veggies or a salad option. The seats are not comfortable, this is not a place to come and relax with a book. The parklet seating is nicely sheltered from the breeze, but can be noisy. The music, outdoor setting, and service are all good. Flatbread was lovely and soft when hot, hardens to a crispy cracker when it cools. The Woody's sparkling N.A. rosé was a bit flat (flavor wise). The people were laughing, the drinks were flowing. It smelled really good, which we would later find out was from the food especially that Mac and cheese. We started off with different wines, some that Tom recommended based on what we told him we didn't like or did like. He apologized for our previous experience and was genuinely a nice guy. Honestly it's very admirable for a business owner to take feedback to heart and want to incorporate it. Plus he's a really cool guy when you get to know him. The staff was busy running around but still made time to come check on us. Our final verdict is we came on a bad day. This time we got the actual Waystone experience. We finally got to try the chicken bites with a creamy aioli, fries with yogurt sauce, and the star of the show was the Mac and cheese. I once saw a harpist who made me feel like I was floating inside the music. No cover, no pressure, just ridiculously good musicians making the whole place glow. One thing I love: the rotating local art. The walls change every so often as new artists take over, and it completely shifts the energy of the space. You might not love every piece, but that's kind of the point--it's alive, it's personal, and it's supporting real artists in SF.
