Went with friends because we want some good drinks. Not only were the margaritas pretty darn good, so was tge food! My friend got a shimp cocktail, jam packed full of shrimp! Myself and our other friend got a burrito. Mine was al pastor, she got Carne asada, somehow we got them mixed up and didn't notice till we were almost done, both were delicious, flavorful meats and just the right amounts of beans, rice and other good stuff! Our server was attentive and very nice. We didn't have any surcharge problems or anything like that. Music was a little loud, BUT they did play music that wanted to make you dance! She also told us they have karaoke on Saturdays so we may go back for that! Give it a try, it won't disappoint! It's mainly seafood, but they do have non seafood options as well.

The bowl was very filling with all the fries and meat, and the toppings and sauce were a great combo. I would definitely go back just for that. The chips and salsa were also good. The salsa had just the right amount of mild heat with a fresh taste. The beer battered avocado tacos were decent, but in hindsight we should have gone with a protein style taco instead. With the deep fried avocado, it was a bit overpowering, and I noticed a slight aftertaste. It was a little disappointing that the horchata tasted watered down and more like a powdered mix rather than freshly made, but we understand that is not the main attraction. The environment is more for those who enjoy the bar life, so it can get pretty noisy. The food was good, just not our style.

Ambiance: A-. Started off calmer with rad music from the 90's R & B sounds then the football crowd filed in more and more as they woke up. This livened the bar up 10 fold and it was a blast. It helped that there was crazy endings to the Rams @ Eagles game.

Tucked in off Colorado Blvd. (Where il Fornaio used to be) Valet up front for $25 or lots of parking in nearby structures. We got a fairly last-minute reservation for a party of eight on a Sunday evening. We were seated promptly at a what felt like a large high top table, furniture is beautiful, ambience is lovely, it is open light and airy with tropical design. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. We got two orders of the "La Tablita" with chicken and steak, steak quesadillas, and lots of tacos. Drinks were great, especially the spicy jalapeno marg. For dessert we got the churros, and our waiter generously brought out two birthday ice creams for the kids we were celebrating. Towards the end of the evening we met Edgar who was the manager on duty regarding a small mishap, he handled it punctually and professionally. We are already looking forward to coming back.

My husband got the chilaquiles, he has they were flavorful and the chips were crispy & everything was fresh. I ordered the enchiladas, the sauce was tasty and the chicken was delicious. I was worried it would be boiled chicken but the chicken had onions and good spices. The rice was so yummy!! The margarita was a good size, perfectly sweet and the chamoy rim was a yummy touch. We were the only people in the restaurant, they open at 9 & we got there at 9:03. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We will be back for their $6 Monday Margarita specials and to try other dishes. The food tasted pretty authentic and the price point was great. Chilaquiles with rice & beans $12 (+$6 for meat) Enchiladas $18 Margarita $6 (Monday special)

Perfect! The wine-based cantarito paloma was a fun twist on a classic and beautifully presented. Service was friendly, not too attentive but ok, the ambiance was relaxed and catered to our kiddo by putting on a movie for him that was kind of them.... A great spot in San Dimas for some somewhat authentic mexican flavors....we would give it another shot again... see what else we try next time.

This was actually our second attempt, the first time we showed up on a Saturday afternoon they were closed, despite their online hours saying otherwise. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back. Service was okay. The food? Disappointing. The shrimp cocktail was the whole reason we made the trip. It tasted watered down, had no seasoning, no lemon, and still had shell on the shrimp. It genuinely tasted like a pre-made Costco cocktail in red dyed water. The fajita plate (shrimp, beef, and chicken) was passable but nothing special. What really ended it for us were the hidden fees. We ordered the fajita plate $30 (+ taxes) a massive spread with a separate plate of rice and beans and they brought out THREE corn tortillas. THREE... I am Mexican. I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants in my lifetime and have never been given only three tortillas for a plate that size. We asked for more tortillas and were charged $4 with zero warning. It's not about the money it's the principle. The charge was never disclosed. When I brought it up with the owner, Lupita, she was dismissive and couldn't explain the reasoning it's not even homemade tortillas. You can literally buy 90 tortillas for $4 at a grocery store! She took off one of the charges but kept the other $2. Meanwhile, they offer unlimited chips and complimentary salsa without blinking. The inconsistency is baffling. We genuinely wanted to support this family-run restaurant we loved seeing the family come in together. But the disrespect during that conversation made it impossible to leave on good terms. Do yourself a favor and drive about a 1.5 miles down the street to El Metate. Their large shrimp cocktail is $15, is so flavorful, and the staff treats you like family. Their pozole is outstanding too. We found them on our first failed attempt to come here and we'll be going back to them exclusively from now on. We will never return to Lupita's and made it clear to not go there in our community thread with 15K people. Unless you like hidden fees and mediocre tasteless overpriced food then this is your place otherwise...don't come here.

They went all out for her birthday and they also worked with us to make sure that her birthday cake was brought out during the happy birthday song! As for the food, we started with the Kala Sampler, which has asada nacho bites, chicken buffalo wings, potato and chicken tinga, and taquito dorados. The Kala Sampler is good for four people so order accordingly if you have a bigger party. My hubby and I shared the parillada, which had multiple meats that can be put into either a corn or flour tortilla along with rice and beans. For meat, we had marinated steak, chicken breast, seasoned shrimp, cactus, and chorizo. My favorite was the seasoned shrimp. The steak felt dry to me but everything was still good and flavorful with the molcajete salsa, which tasted like sweet tomato.
