Fish Tacos (Tacos De Pescado)

5/5 . Great service, great setting. Food was good quality, hot, and delicious. Definitely coming back very soon

Burrito "El Grande"
Jose Manuel C.

Returned from vacation, fridge is empty, nothing to have for lunch. Showed up to This place, with wonderful customer service, Banda music and a lot of customers for lunch hour. I ordered the big burrito with carnitas. While the flavors were wonderful and the salsa was spicy, the thing disintegrated. Now I see why it was served in a tin tray instead of wrapped in foil. Would I return? Yes but I would probably order something else based on my fandom of how I like my burritos. 4.5/5 .

Tlapeno Soup

I came here with my mom to try the soup and we had a great experience. The service was quick and friendly which made for a pleasant visit. I ordered the spicy Tlalpeno chicken soup while my mom went with the regular chicken. I loved my soup, the flavors were rich and satisfying, but my mom felt the chicken breast was a bit dry. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and I will definitely return when I am in the area.

Combo #5.

Came here for a late lunch. Service was great. Really enjoyed my food. Ordered the #5 combo which was a chicken enchilada, crispy shell carne asada taco and a chili relleno and came with rice and beans. Also they served chips and salsa which I thought was average. Overall, I'd be back.

La primavera Mexican Restaurant # 1 Mexican food of Martinez Cal Muy Delicioso gracias a todo sus Empleados Por su buen trabajo los Felisito

Had a great time at this restaurant! Food was amazing, definitely 10/10! Service was friendly 8.5/10. The inside is so beautiful, I loved it!

I happened to be in Martinez & we got hungry for Mexican food & I'm so glad I came across this gem!! At first there was no one there but us, after like 10 min , it got packed! The customer service is overwhelming outstanding, we got greeted as soon as we open the door, the lady and coworkers were very friendly and caring with all the customers. The food was super good great pricing , amazing portions, it was authentic Food from Jalisco. They give you chips and salsa , and they will ask you if you want the spicy sauce and yes it is spicy but is so yummy the beans and the rice were perfect , and the chile rellenos so cheesy There's parking outside, they have indoor booths and outside seating. P If I'm ever in the area I will definitely come back , they also offer sea food.

Menu as of March 1, 2023.

Nothing fancy, but clean and authentic. Interesting design especially with the painted sky ceiling. Overall a little bit outdated, however, serves the need. Service had some hiccups waiting for final bill and checking on the customers. Ordered taco salads represents the stars of this review - flat taste of all the ingredients. The shell was the only thing that stood out. Price wise is very affordable and can be recommended if you don't wanna spend over $10 for lunch.

We shared the calamari and Brussels Sprouts as we both weren't very hungry. The calamari was lightly breaded so you could enjoy the meat rather than all the breading. The sprouts were amazing - not overly seasoned and great with a squirt of lemon. Food came out so quickly, I was only able to eat one slice of the warm sourdough bread. I guess that's a good thing! Our server was friendly and attentive.

Food : Everyone's order was so- so . Clam chowder was so thick you can taste the flour , pasta was over garlic , the yellow fin tuna sandwich was under seasoned , the good thing in the entire thing was the sweet potato fries . I ordered the crab Benedict which by description says " dungeness crab " but no way it is. First of all , my poached eggs had almost a quarter of the egg shell on it, the bread was tasting old , crab was cold , fishy and definitely from the can- which definitely is NOT dungeness . I gave the other half to my husband , he can't even swallow upon first bite . I tried , wish I spit it out as fast as my husband did so I wouldn't be traumatized by it. Service : I couldn't complain earlier bc our server didn't check on us . I told her when she was getting the bill and all she had to say was sorry . I asked her to forward the message to the manager and chef but she asked " do you want me to forward your message ? Well of course ! After all that she still didn't offer anything to offset the bad food . Not that it's important to take it off the bill , or get a new entree , but out of principle they should say or offer something and I would have said no anyway . But the experience was so bad , the table was quiet during the meal . And I'm the one who recommended it. We all ended up having to go for ice cream to fill ourselves for the bad taste and a bad experience. I gave it a 1 just bc of location per se not the actual venue bc I was promised an upstairs seating when I made the reservation and we were in the gravel parking lot . I don't have a way of saying 0.

Whether you're in town for jury duty, work, or play, here is a good lunch spot. I walked into Aberdeen Café during the lunch hour. Booths lined the wall on one side, and the bar was on the other. Korean pop music played softly while other customers ate lunch. I was seated at the booth and was served a glass of water to start. I got the #2015 Salt and Pepper Fish Filet lunch special with hot and sour soup of the day, egg roll, and substituted-in fried rice. I was served the hot and sour soup first. It was a wonderful appetizer. The classic spicy pepper and sour vinegar were balanced. The bits of crunchy mushroom and soft tofu added interest and texture to the thick broth. This was comfort in a bowl. The entree was delicious. The fried fish was hot off the wok when it arrived, steaming on the plate along with fried rice, broccoli, an egg roll, and some sweet and sour sauce. I enjoyed the fish; the heat of the jalapeno slices and the salt elevated the light crispiness and mild sweetness of the fish. The fried rice was light and fluffy with bits of egg. The sauteed broccoli had a solid crunch, and the vegetable egg roll was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This was a good, satisfying lunch at Aberdeen Café. When I'm in the mood for comforting Cantonese food again, I'll be back for more.

You go up to order from a window and find a seat or stand around, depending on whether you wanna eat there or take your food to go. I opted to dine there and the place is super chill. On my trips, I've ordered the po'boy and gumbo combo on one visit and had the catfish bites with the hush puppies on another visit. The food each time was prepared really well and the fried items were perfectly crispy. The gumbo was delicious without being too spicy although there's a plethora of hot sauces on the tables for you if you want to spice up your food even more. This place made me feel nostalgic for the handful of times I visited New Orleans and it made me miss Louisiana food, even while I was eating a good representation of it lol. It takes awhile for the server to come assist you, especially ordering drinks. Half our table got drinks and finished before the other got to order. The drinks took awhile to come out and came at different times and were inconsistent with taste and garnish. They never collected any empty glasses when they came with new drinks. So our table was cluttered. This is not good when your table is already cramped. When we were ordering the food the server kept trying to pressure us to order more (either two of the same dish or more food). Unfortunately we listened and got two of the mussel with fries. The assembly of this dish was not great. They put a glob of mayo on top of the mussels...then fries under with a TON of not so great broth. The fries get sooooo soggy and dipping it becomes a nightmare when you start eating the mussels. The mussels also weren't that great. It wasn't necessarily fishy but almost tasted old or left out. I would not recommend this dish. The Brussels sprouts were horrendous and EXTREMELY salty. It was drenched in this buffalo tasting vinaigrette. The entire party hated this. As for the chicken, it was alright. The hot sauce wasn't great so I ate it alone. The biscuit was tough and hard to rip apart. It didn't have that flakey texture. The slaw was a miss from just looking at it. My favorite thing out of it all was the Mac and cheese. Not dry, had good amount of salt. Oh, and if you want to order the side of carrots, I'm not sure 2 slices is worth the amount they charge. The menu is also limited compared to what was offered before.
