In addition of town St. Charles for the Streets of St Charles Christmas. Spotted La Pizza as we arrived. Decided to stop in at the end of our day. The interior isn't fancy but don't let deter you from dining in. Place your order at the counter and grab a table. The staff is friendly and efficient. We ordered the 16 inch Roberto ( so we'd have leftovers) which is topped with multiple meats, veggies and garlic and a large House Salad to share. Sodas, water and iced tea are available. When the pizza arrived at our table it was generously topped. Great NY style pizza and a nice fresh salad. We'll be back. read more

Ok let's start with the positives. The Pizza is REALLY good! I would DEFINATELY get the pizza again-to bring home! And the staff was super nice! There was no atmosphere. Like none. Cans of soda, plastic forks, no decor, a salad was lettuce , barely any cheese or tomato and bleh salad dressing for boasting it was homemade. Both La Pizza locations make great East Coast style pizza and one of my favorite pizza places in St. Louis. I highly recommend.

First time here , smaller place with 12-13 tables and you go to counter and order food and can soda drinks. The salad was fresh and the dressing was ok. Pizza is what they call New York style and I'm not a big fan but it was average. After coming home from New York, I wanted to find some New York pizza. Everyone recommended La Pizza on Main Street, and they weren't wrong. We had a large deluxe and some garlic bread. The crust was just perfect! The people there were extremely nice, in the dining room was decorated with photos of St. Louis as well as New York. I was SO EXCITED when I saw that La Pizza was opening a location in St. Charles--it did not disappoint! When I lived closer to their original location, it was a regular stop for me for a quick slice or picking up to feed a group. Their new location has a lot more room for dine-in and the pizza is the same delicious quality as before, with wonderful service. La Pizza St Charles So we arrived and no one came to seat us so we found a table. Not sure that is what we were to do. No vestibule so the cold just poured inside. We got a large Chef Salad and 18 in pizza. The salad was so so. Much smaller than I would say is a large. It was in a large bowl though. The pizza was good. We also got two bottle waters. We didnt have anything else. They only have canned soda. Not sure they are going to make it because they ran out of pizza dough to make pizzas before 6pm on a Friday. La Pizza is the best New York style (football pizza) pizza you can get on Main Street or really in all of St. Charles for that matter. They are also locally owned and this is their second location. The staff are super friendly and love pizza just as much as you and I. They make recommendations and have a great variety. They also sell by the slice, and have salads. They use paper plates and disposable flatware, and the space is pretty open. They have some music playing too. read more

Looking for Dave Portnoy approved New York Style Pizza? Look no further. He reviewed the University City location, but I assure you the product here is just as good. Plus, they have more seating and there should be plenty of parking available nearby unless some Main Street Event is going on. Amazing authentic NY Style Pizza, fantastic service. The Decor is a bit plain at the moment but they've tried to give it that NY Style feeling. They've only been open a few days and they're already drawing a crowd. Near constant orders over the phone, too. If you come at peak times, bring some patience. Only possible improvements would be a soda fountain and a pinball machine. read more

Grew up on NY/NJ pizza. After moving to St. Louis have always looked for the proper "NY pie". They have the crust down very respectable. The mozzarella is stringent and has wonderful pull. If you are a proven fan this will throw you for a bit but it's good. I did pepperoni for a topping, they could have been cooked more but they were fine for a pizza joint :p. The sauce was a bit watery but it was crushed tomato and some seasoning, what it's supposed to be for a red pie. Maybe could have simmered it for a while to take some of the water out. But overall a really good showing for "NY" pizza in the mid west. I will come again. It's a pizza joint so you go to the counter and order they bring it to you when done. People were friendly and eager to please. The place is a pizza joint what do you want tables, chairs, napkins. It's all the ambiance you need lol. A word of advice, unless the staff tells you that the pizza just came out of the oven, don't order the pizza by the slice. Mine was reheated and tasteless with a hard crust that was more like a leftover from the day before thrown in the microwave.
