We have ordered probably something of all of their options for entrées, all great super delicious. In addition, you have to try their margaritas. Their bar is great and their margaritas just are outstanding. Even enjoy getting one with the additional high level patron. It has gotten bigger, and yet the ambience is still really lovely. Service is always just right on spot. We enjoy their food so much that way often just do carry out. One of the nicest things that happened is that they now take reservations. We love this place. This place is an absolute must-visit if you're in the area! I am a keen supporter of excellent taco…read moremakers wherever I go, and on a recent visit to Lewes, my wife and I decided to visit Stop N Go Taco. We had a little trouble finding a place to park, as the lot is very small. We also did not know for sure if there was indoor seating, but there is -- two booths and a bar facing out the window with 4-5 stools. We were lucky enough to get a booth that was open, and from there we could read the extensive menu. We overheard other patrons talking with the counter employee about the shrimp tacos, and found out that the restaurant makes its own seasoning. The employee (I didn't get his name) was super friendly and helpful, offering to answer our questions and help us choose. The other folks had loved their shrimp tacos, so we knew we had to try them. We also ordered a small chips and guac to share. And on a whim, I ordered the platanos fritos (fried plantains). The man at the counter asked if I wanted them with everything on them (cheese and sweetened condensed milk). We had never had them that way, so we said yes we would try it. Our food came out quickly but was obviously made with care and was super fresh. The guacamole was some of the best I've ever had anywhere! The chips were fresh and hot! I could have easily gorged myself on chips and guac, so I was glad we had gotten a small one. The shrimp tacos were heavenly -- excellent seasoning, cooked perfectly plump and juicy, and the chipotle mayo sauce (given to us in a bottle so we could use however much we wanted) was extremely tasty. We also tried the green sauce, which was also good. These tacos were easily the best we have ever had, and we wished we had each gotten an order of three instead of sharing one order. Our opinion on the plantains was mixed -- the fruit pieces were delicious and perfectly cooked with some lovely char and caramelization on the outside. The toppings, however, were too much for us. I had checked Google while we waited and saw some examples of this dish using queso fresco, but what we got was shredded cheese (possibly mozzarella), and there was a LOT of both that and the sweetened condensed milk. In my first bite, I included the toppings, and it was alright. But as I kept eating, the toppings overwhelmed the already sweet plantains, so I began scraping them off before eating them. If you like your plantains this way, more power to you! In the future, I would order them plain. The man at the counter checked on us many times and wanted to know how we liked everything. People kept coming in to order and it seemed like some of them were regulars who had become friends. That's a great sign that this place is always this good. PLEASE support these great people and their fantastic food! Your mouth will thank you!

Cute little taco spot with plenty of options. Limited inside seating, but still a welcoming vibe. I got chicken and asada nachos. Very good and flavorful. The only thing missing was the guac, which was supposed to come with it. Also, we tried the birria tacos. Not my fav. Either the grill or spatula needed to be cleaned. The tacos had lots of charred pieces and tasted like older grease. The consomme was delicious though!! Definitely would give the place another try before I leave.

The amount of trash they produce must be outrageous. House margaritas were very weak and too sour for my taste. Queso fundito was queso poured on top of a small scoop of ground beef. We asked for a spoon (got plastic in plastic wrapper) so we could stir the meat up into the queso to actually get some on the nachos chips. They should have done that before serving us. Ok, so the chips were good - warm and crispy. I had a bowl with chicken tinga. It was ok. Husband got 2 tacos. For a quick cheap meal, people might like it.

This time we got fries, soft pretzels, a rather fantastic mushroom soup, pan seared swordfish, Thai noodles with shrimp, fish and chips and a pub burger. All were rapidly demolished with no complaints. P n P really gets it done. Locals dig it and visitors are wowed at the variety quality and signature lack of pretentiousness.
