Venezuelan bowl, half eaten. The flavors are wonderful.
Karl A.

I was lucky to find this place. Clean, nice, great menu options and wonderful flavors in the food. There are several restaurants in a row on this block and Lapicana has it all a great vibe, attentive service that really cares, a clean kitchen and really delicious food. I ordered the Venezuelan bowl with the meat, medium rare, and the combination of flavors and textures was spectacular.

Greatest place to eat in Miami. I eat here twice a week. Nothing compares to the charcoal flame grill and their seasoning.

The Jasmin rice on the bowl just sets it off. I'm not a rice lover but I go in on this. Don't forget to sprinkle the smoked sea salt on the bowl. I also dump the chili oil too. I like it spicy. Now their happy hour...great drink and food prices. Try the spicy margarita. Yum! They also have private rooms for your entire party...just call ahead. I find this disappointing as I always like to go to try different dishes from the standard menu. To me it shows that the restaurants that do a special menu are normally more innovative. Had I known this beforehand I would not have come. Having said that the food I sampled was decent enough. My appetizer was the Korean chicken which was plentiful. My main was the ribs. I was surprised to see that it was just that only meat. I expected there to have been a bit of a garnish or greens. Between the ribs and chicken my whole diet was meat. The dessert was two choices. I went with the chocolate cake. The hocolate cake slice was the smallest slice I've ever been served in a restaurant. I really liked the decor. I also really liked the music that was being played. Service was efficient. The ladies toilets had a damp smell. Overall I was disappointed and would not visit again.

All of the servers and waitstaff were incredibly friendly, as well as the managers who welcomed us when we arrived. Our waiters and waitresses were so informative and helpful throughout the entire experience, especially when it came to explaining the process and helping us select the meats for the Butcher's Feast. We really appreciated all of their suggestions on how to pair and complement the different meats. Everything was absolutely delicious, and each pairing went perfectly together. We had such a great time and are genuinely happy that we came back. We will definitely be returning and look forward to sharing this incredible experience with our friends and family. Thank you so much, Daniel, and your entire team, for making this visit such a memorable one! My husband wanted to make my birthday special, so he made a reservation here for our first visit. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. We were seated directly behind the server station, where the staff stood throughout the evening talking among themselves. It wasn't the most enjoyable atmosphere, especially for a birthday dinner. Our waiter, Raphael, was friendly at first, but his attitude noticeably changed after we declined to order alcoholic drinks and the omakase, as we don't drink and preferred the Butcher's Feast instead. Even though the Butcher's Feast is still a very expensive option, it felt like we were treated differently because of our choices. The staff members who cleared our plates were much kinder. One employee noticed that our bone broth had gone cold and explained that it was meant to be enjoyed before the steaks. Unfortunately, Raphael never mentioned this or explained how the meal was intended to be served. My husband also noticed the manager repeatedly pointing toward our table while speaking with the servers. Shortly afterward, multiple staff members kept coming over to ask if we were finished. Each time they said they weren't trying to rush us, but being asked over and over made us feel very rushed. It took away from what was supposed to be a relaxing birthday celebration. The meat itself was just okay, and both my husband and I left with upset stomachs afterward. We've eaten Korean barbecue and Korean food at many other restaurants without any issues, so this experience was unusual. Overall, I'm surprised this restaurant has a Michelin star. Based on our experience, it didn't live up to the level of service or quality we expected. Between the unfriendly service, feeling rushed throughout the meal, and the underwhelming food, I would not recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

If you're looking for a high-end dining experience in the heart of Miami, Dirty French Steakhouse…read morein Brickell absolutely delivers. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. You can immediately tell this is a place that takes hospitality seriously. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was beautifully presented and delicately seasoned--light, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin the meal. The wedge salad followed, crisp and refreshing with just the right balance of richness and acidity. For the mains, the experience really elevated. I had the tomahawk steak, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the better steaks I've had in Miami. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, and this dish deserves special mention: it wasn't just ravioli with a hint of lobster--it actually featured generous, large pieces of lobster, which made it feel both indulgent and well worth ordering. The ambiance strikes a great balance between upscale and lively, making it ideal for both a special occasion or an elevated night out in Brickell. Now, to be clear--prices are definitely on the higher side. But in this case, you truly get what you pay for. Between the quality of the food, the execution, and the level of service, it feels justified. Bottom line...If you're willing to splurge for a memorable steakhouse experience, Dirty French Steakhouse is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back.

Having dined at Mastro's in Las Vegas several times, I arrived with high expectations. The Miami location met them with ease. Set along the waterway, the views are mesmerizing. Boats drift by like they're part of the evening's entertainment, providing a spectacle that competes admirably with what's on the plate. The restaurant itself is beautiful, polished, and effortlessly inviting. Service was exceptional. The staff struck that perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering. We enjoyed prime rib and cocktails, both outstanding, delivered with warmth, professionalism, and the increasingly rare art of making guests feel genuinely welcome. Excellent food, beautiful surroundings, and service that never misses a beat. A memorable evening and one I'd happily repeat.

Some of the food we were served appeared to be undercooked, and afterward, multiple people in my party, including myself, experienced symptoms consistent with food poisoning. This was very concerning and definitely not the experience we expected from a restaurant of this caliber. I called the restaurant afterward and spoke with a manager named Adam to explain what happened. His response was that he "can't do anything for me." I found that extremely unfortunate and disappointing. When guests are reporting becoming sick after dining at your establishment, I would expect the situation to at least be taken seriously and handled with care and concern. We spent a significant amount of money celebrating a special occasion here, and the combination of the food quality, several members of our party becoming ill afterward, and the way my concerns were handled left a very negative impression. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and looks into what happened so another group does not have the same experience.
