What a waste of $125.00 dinner for two. 1 steak and fries, veal and plain over boiled pasta with a light sauce 1 bottle of carbonated water. Steak just warm fries cold asked to reheat both fries became overly well done and steak came out as cold as it did when we sent it back. Was in to celebrate Thanksgiving, we were seated in a mini booth. The waiter was warm and welcoming and very polite. I started to feel congested and felt a sore throat coming on, so I suggested that they not put another party on top of us since it wouldn't be fair to them I mentioned it to the waiter and the manager appeared. I think her name was Tamia She was extremely rude suggesting to me that I should not have come and suggesting that I take my food home to eat it ruined the entire evening unfortunately this manager needs additional training in hospitality, a bad representative for La Piazza Cucina. The service and food was fantastic! Our reservation was 6:30pm, Saturday evening. The restaurant was completely full. We sat in a booth which gave privacy from other diners. The waiter was very attentive and our appetizers (fried calamari & eggplant meatballs) came out quickly. Very tasty. Salmone Piccata as entree was delicious. The sautéed artichoke added soo much value to this dish. Room for improvement would be the valet. They were very busy and there wasn't enough spaces. Cars were lined up throughout lot. The valet young man was very pleasant in a bit of a chaotic parking situation so bravo that he kept his professionalism in tact. Also, restaurant was a bit warm inside. Ordered dinner this past weekend. I asked for a dish that came with a side of rice. I asked our waiter if I could swap side dish and he gave me a choice. I chose one and thought it was an even swap, which I was confirmed with the waiter. Sadly, I did not pay attention to bill that night. We went to La Piazza for Valentine's Day dinner. Service: Great Food: exceptional I had the Branzino which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My girl had the Halibut which was absolutely delicious. The sauce and garnish were perfection. Excellent wine selection. Priced reasonably and certainly on par with the food quality. You could pay almost the same and have a terrible meal elsewhere. Great selection of Italian staples yet some dishes are signature La Piazza. It's a larger restaurant yet the acoustics were good. Overall great experience. Met a friend for lunch during the week. Best time to go because weekends are super busy there. Had the lunch size lasagna pinwheels. Pasta was very tender and delicious but was a little disappointed the meat was all sausage, no ground beef. Could have used a little more sauce. I've been here a lot as it is close to home and can accommodate large tables when the fam gets together. Food is reliable and wine is always good. However , prices have really gone up!! Those two lunch sized lasagna pinwheels were $18 and one glass of wine (decent pour) was $15. Cutting back on the amount of outings! Even lunch has become pricey! I came here for lunch with coworkers from a coworker's recommendation. We were a party of 9 people. I don't remember what others ordered. I only remember I ordered pizza. My pizza was the Crudo. It was an awesome pizza dish containing prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula, fontina, and some more... My coworkers liked their food. They told me they were great! What troubled me was the service. Service sucked! I am not sure whether the waiter was originally from Italy or someone who pretended to be from Italy. Trying to speak English with Italian accent or pretended to sound like Italian. The waiter never smiled. He seemed pissed or having a bad day. Didn't suggest anything from the menu nor ask if you want your food with other options. In addition, it took forever for the waiter to come and attend us. He barely walked to our table to check on us and more like walking to other tables instead. I had to go fetch him for the bill and to pay the bill as we were in a hurry to get back to work as it would take forever for him to notice me with my hand raised for his attention. Usually frequent the Plainview location. Menu was extensive and covered all the Italian favorites. No pick two menu like Plainview but the lunch portions we appropriate. Service was prompt, professional and attentive without being overbearing. Nice venue and would definitely consider coming back for drinks at the bar or romantic dinner. It's usually always very easy to get early dinner reservations. The Bar drinks are always amazing. The The White Pizza with Broccoli is delicious the only thing that's missing is garlic. Zucchini fritters a little to cheesy but good. Seafood salad was amazing. The chicken parmigiana was not plentiful as a meal but it is really good. The Penne was excellent. We love this place. Addition to my prior review: KUDOS to the team at La Piazza who after reading my review rectified this issue and showed that they're paying attention to their customer's comments. Broccoli Rabe and sausage pizza was good, as well as the plain and salad pizza. We had two salads: Caprino Salad - Although the on-line menu quoted $57 for a half tray we were charged $60. Grilled jumbo shrimp, mesclun greens, roasted peppers, grilled baby asparagus, crumbled goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, red onions, balsamic vinaigrette dressing I was floored at the price of this salad and when we called and asked where the shrimp we were told that it does not come with shrimp... REALLY? This was off the website and the person told me repeatedly that it does not contain shrimp. My question back was; why is this salad $60??? The answer; "that's the price." Pecan Salad $45 for a half tray Mesclun greens tossed with fresh arugula, honey roasted pecans & gorgonzola crumbles tossed with our homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing. These two salads were $105.00 and I am still trying to figure out why. We can cater a FANTASTIC lunch of sandwiches and salad and spend less then $125, and that includes water. We also asked for a 11:30 delivery and this was delivered to us at 12:15. When I asked about that they told me that the kitchen only opens at 11:00. If that's the case, why weren't we told this when the order was placed. There are just too many choices on the 110 corridor for good food, reasonably priced. obviously, La Piazza, is not one of them. A friend invited us out. Was surprised when we arrived to see valet parking as the ambience didn't seem to merit it. We were seated outdoors by her request which was essentially right on Route 110. Service was slow; took several requests for our water glasses to initially get filled and those who ordered sparkling water to receive. A refill was completely missed on my friend's husband's drink later in the meal. Food was okay; nothing special and more bland than anything else. My husband suffered for about 24 hours after with gastrointestinal issues which we can possibly attribute to his salad but can not be sure of the exact culprit. Prices are too high like they're trying to be something they're not. Would not return as I'd like more by way of ambience, service and taste when paying about $200 per couple on a Saturday evening out. read more

Horrible takeout tonight. Great service at the counter. Speedy and on point. But our requested salad (specified clearly without dressing and minimal sauce) was like it was swimming in a soupy mess. The whole point of eating salad is to be healthy and low fat, but this was just laden with a heavy, creamy oil, covering every inch of every vegetable. And the protein was totally drenched in sauce, too, ruining all the flavor of the meat. The entire dish went in the trash without even taking a bite. It was inedible and even more disgusting to look at. So disappointing. Sadly, this has happened in repeat occasions with takeout; however dine in is always quite delicious and healthy. We got baked ziti fir the kids - this was the high point - classic, cheesy, and delicious. My wife got the penne Ala vodka. Completely serviceable, but average in every way. Enjoyable, but nothing special. I got the linguini al cartoccio. It was a shrimp and sausage pasta in a pink cream sauce baked in tin foil. This is one if those dishes that you think is incredible on first bite. And then your opinion slowly deteriorates, until halfway through the dish you can't imagine eating another bite. Just the perfect mix of salty and heavy. The bread they served was very hard, borderline inedible. Horrible experience. We ordered 2 glasses of Prosecco. They were tasteless and no bubbles. We send it back and asked if bartender could open a new bottle. Waiter, who was professional, returned and informed us bartender already had opened a new bottle for our drinks and the taste would remain the same if he opened another bottle. We asked to speak with manager. Young lady, who we later learned was asst. manager, approached our table and before we could complete first sentence she repeated same words as our waiter and informed us they wouldn't "waste" opening another bottle. The food was delicious, the wait staff was excellent and the decor and atmosphere was really nice. Two people in our party had the chicken rollatine toscana which was very good -very tasty. Had a surprise birthday dinner with a large group of friends at La Piazza on a Friday night. We arrived around 7 and was quiet but by the time we left around 930, it was busy. Restaurant is spacious with ample amount of seating. The menu had so many options it was hard for me to choose what I exactly wanted for dinner. I started off with a pomegranate martini which was not only delicious, but strong as well. Apps were split amongst the table, Spicy Calamari, Calamari, Meatballs, Stuffed mushrooms, all enjoyable. For dinner my husband got the Salmon and I decided on the Buffalo Chicken Pizza minus the blue cheese. The pizza was bigger than I thought it was going to be and my favorite item I had that night. This location has a fairly large dining room with a bar set aside in the front entrance of the restautant. It was a Monday late afternoon when we arrived for lunch. For me, I have always ordered pizza or salad from La Piazza and it's always has been very good. This occasion we ordered a bottle of wine with stuffed artichoke, Calamari, antipasto, and clams casino. The calamari was excelent the stuff artchoke had too much breading for my taste, and the antipasto was just okay. The clams casino was good if you like the clam whole, not chopped. Overall, my favorite at this restaurant is still their pizza. read more

First off, kudos to La P for being so amazing through this pandemic. Their delivery came to me so quickly and it was always accurate, hot, and fresh. We are so appreciative of them for being so accomodating. We dined here for our first time eating out since the pandemic. The food was great as usual. There was plenty of distance between the tables, and the workers were thoroughly scrubbing each table and menus down after each use. Our waiter was very accomodating and also meticulous about cleanliness. It was very reassuring, and we cannot wait to come back to eat again.
