Not sure if FBC sells fresh out of the oven pizza. Nevertheless, the reheated pizza was amazing. Crispy crust, chewy dough, and probably what stands out the most is their cheese. The bakery is also located at the edges of Hager Pond. We can't say enough good things about our experience with Milly Ramsey. She responds quickly to emails, respects customers and those being honored with her cake, and asks all the right questions. A first-rate professional. My mom is a retired university professor, and also a dealer of rare books. Milly created a cake with two extremely realistic books as its base. If you looked at the edges, you could even see the appearance of individual pages! Gold decorated the bindings, which had the appearance of rich leather. We told Milly that mom had hand-made several quilts. Milly requested some photos, and then created a faithful miniature replica of a quilt mom had made for my brother, draping this decorative element artfully over the books. As a final touch, the writing on the cake was presented on a replica of an old-fashioned library book withdrawal sheet! AND everything was not only edible, but mouthwateringly delicious. The pricing (in 2022) for each signature cupcake is $5.50 each, $20 for 4, $27 for 6 and $48 for 12. I stopped by Maine Girl Cupcakes at opening time and there was a line crammed into the very small shop. I picked out 6 cupcakes to enjoy back at my home which is halfway to Maine, lol.
