Very rude did not greet me when I entered. The owner and sssistant would not even look at me. I was the only customer said she could not do a cake order and that's fine when I asked if she could recommend a bakery she suggested I go to Wegmans or Whole Foods now why would I do that if I want a homemade baked cake?? We purchased a half sheet cake for a birthday. it was dinosaur themed. Half yellow/half chocolate. The decorations were excellent, it was easily as well done as the sample picture. Donna (i believe it was her i interacted with) was very friendly and gave off genuinely kind vibes, despite being quite busy. She showed me the options they had for walk-ins and truth-be-told, i was not impressed by the look of it in the moment. But they offered to add some small customizations plus the birthday message (which came at no additional cost), and the picture you see is what they produced. Simply amazing! The cake tasted great, too, and as an icing conoisseur i have to say the buttercream along with the chocolate drip was superb. I do wish they offered red velvet flavor, but don't let that detour you! I would absolutely get a cake again, for any special occasion. Donna's has become our family's gold standard cake bakery for events of all kinds. This last weekend, we were assigned to pick one up and drive it 3 hours west for our grandson's 3rd birthday party. Cakes are delicious, icing is fantastic and, if you're getting a few contrasting flavor cupcakes to cover your bases, they are excellent too. Donna's does excellent work with decorations - standard or custom. Prices are moderate and service is great. I'm mobility impaired, and they'll gladly bring my order out for me and put it into the car. Must order a couple of days ahead, but there is plenty of motivation to do that. read more
