Came here for the first time to be incredibly disappointed. I wanted a dip set with black french tips and not even two days later my nails started peeling and breaking off. I am not new to getting my nails done nor new to getting a dip set but this is the first time I had experienced this. When i called the nail salon and explained my situation to the employees the lady completely dismissed all I had said and pretended the phone had hung up on its own. Originally, I went in to get a full set that cost me basically $70 dollars because there is an up charge on everything. Despite me getting my nails done for over 15 years, I was charged for a long set and my nails are very short. I'm able to even ball up a fist. Well, furthermore, several of my nails broke due to the thin layer of acrylic and I found myself back in the shop looking to get my nails replaced. During that time, I decided to get a pedicure, which actually came out fabulous. Due to the busyness of the Nail shop I decided to come back for now replacement. During that time, I was told that I had two layers of nail polish when clearly it's only one I did not fuss, but that is why I'm making this post. You know your nail service was bad when they coat your fingers in Neosporin at the end. Pedicure was fine, but overpriced for one of the most basic pedicures I've ever had. My nails had to be completely re-done, I left in pain with multiple cuts and with a completely different color/design/shape than I asked for (tech blamed the polish I chose for the lumpy square nails I received the first round). Nails are all different lengths and shapes. Also had to peel off the clear gel coat that the tech dripped over my hands and allowed to cure. read more

This salon is better than any salon I've been to - and I've been to several. The prices are super reasonable, the location is perfect, and the staff are fantastic. My feet feel great and look beautiful after a pedicure here. I'm definitely a return customer. read more

The other reviews are very daunting but I had a wonderful experience here. Yes, I read the reviews before coming but I was already at the mall so decided to stop in for a pedicure. Surprisingly on a busy Saturday, I was seated immediately. The staff was super friendly and took good care of me. Everyone in there was very nice and we had good conversation. Van was my manicurist and he was absolutely incredible. He cleaned up my toes nicely, and did an excellent job on my shellac pedicure. The shop is very clean and comfortable. Not sure how anyone could give a bad review of this place because I had a great experience. Also, it was only $55 which is the cheapest I've found here in the cities. I will be back! read more

RUN don't walk away from this place! I went here because I needed a manicure for the upcoming week and it was the closest one to me but NEVER AGAIN! I had an older gentleman do my gel manicure and it was the most painful, unclean and I peofeessional I've ever received. Cut me FOUR times where I started bleeding. Got polish all over and the color seriously shows where it's clumped and sloppy. At one point he was walking back to the station and can me up behind me and coughed on my head because he didn't cover his mouth... At the end of it all I declined the lotion because I just wanted OUT! Never ever again will I go here and I recommend you don't either. read more

To the woman whom I've had before. You should never charge a customer if you make them bleed uncontrollably for 10 mins. You cut into my skin and missed my cuticle by 1/2 cm. Then after 10 mins put my foot back into the water. I really hope it's not effected by this at a later date. My toe is still sensitive to touch. First off he had my cuticles bleeding on two fingers, then he missed spots on almost 8 nails literally the polish was so far from my cuticles it looked like I had them polished over two weeks earlier, i had to ask him to fix and he acted irritated. Came for a scheduled pedicure and gel fill. We got in right away, which was unexpected because it looked busy and I don't think they actually use their appointment book. The pedicure was okay. If that's all I came for - I'd give the experience 3 stars. I don't normally come here for my fills, but we were in the area. The woman rushed through my gel fill and polish and left my nails in varying shapes and sizes. The polish looks globbed on in some areas because the gel powder wasn't filed down to a smooth layer. 1 star. the gentleman who did my nails kept making mistakes and having to re-do steps, it ended up taking over 2 hours to get a very thick set of acrylics, just black gel polish. the night i got home the topcoat peeled off most the nails, so the next day i filed all the polish off and filed the "bubbled" acrylic down to a more realistic thickness, and on day 3 , two of the nails popped off. I think they just had me with someone who was not comfortable or knowledgeable. Years ago I went here and had a wonderful experience so I am disappointed. read more

Don't do it! This place is the worst! So incredibly rude from the moment we walked in. Trying to do a 'girls day' and this was a part of the plan, thinking a manicure together would be fun. They obviously saw we were together, then tried to assign us spots on opposite sides of the salon. (Empty salon) This was after pretty yelling at us each 'what colors you want??!' We'd been looking for maybe 30 seconds. After coercing them to let us sit together, it was just garbage service. Cuticles cut way too short-ouch! And both nail techs were straight up dicks the whole time. I work in this industry.. at least try and work for that tip jerks!? I'm still mad I tipped 20%. Reflex. Had to file down each nail when I got home, and half of them were not even polished to the actual end of my nails! There's white nail visible at the end of most of the nails.‍ WTF? If you're ever at Rosedale mall and decide to get your nails done on a whim.. DO NOT GO TO LA NAILS. This is a fill my mom got today. Took them 2 HOURS, and they charged her $60 for this disaster. They stated after I complained and demanded a discount or full refund for it, that since she had ombre pink and white before, that the regular wouldnt come out perfect. Hmm.. Interesting how that comes up AFTER the fact. My mom even said at the beginning when the tech seemed frustrated for switching styles, that she could stick with ombre and she said no, that it was fine. My mom is literally the nicest person you will ever meet so she paid and walked out knowing she would have to go elsewhere, and pay the same thing over to get them fixed. When I went back and was talking with "management" she insinuated that we should have known it would look different, that there was nothing they could have done differently. I replied with the fact that we are not the professionals and should have been notified that it would be such a color difference in the pinks, that the old nail would be so yellow and that the bubbles from the old nails lifting, because that wasnt corrected either, would be so prominent. If she would have known, she would have stuck with the previous style or gotten a full set! After the fact they ended up refunding $10, and my poor mom, has to go somewhere else to get them fixed and pay even more for their mistakes. Well they were really friendly. What I didn't like is that they seemed to be in a rush, it was like an hour before they closed. I didn't like how the shape was not really what I asked. I asked for coffin but some look squired. The lady who did my nails cut the side of 2 fingers with the file and I didn't notice till I was home. I went to get a dip manicure and it was NOTHING like I expected. I chose a color that was a whiteish gray, very light, and my nails turned out neon green. I knew this was not right so I asked to see the color I chose again. Clearly, the color that I chose and the color on my nails were completely different. The woman proceeded to file off the neon green dip but not all the way and then put neon blue dip on top of the green!!!!!! My nails ended up being a neon teal color, and while I looked at them worried the woman told me to not worry about the color and told me to pick out a gel color. She then put gel on top of my dip nails to "fix" the color but ended up making them more bluish green and further away from the color I chose. I will not be going back to LA Nails, and advise others to do the same. read more

Horrible experience here, I would never go back. I came to get a full set and pedicure and was told the wait would be 10 mins. Fine, so I pick out my polish and sit next to a lady who's sick and is coughing all over me while I wait. Finally I'm told to sit in the pedicure chair, but the water is cold! They tell me they run out of hot water when they are too busy, so they tried to boil water in tea kettle and add it in but it's still very cold. So I sit and wait with my feet in cold water and no one comes. As I sit I try to pick up magazine but they are sticky and filthy...gross! As I'm waiting, I look around the the place is filthy, boxes dumped everywhere like a storage locker but in the customer's area. All the chairs and floors look nasty. After waiting 30 minutes in cold water waiting for someone to come and staring at filth I got up and left. As I walked out they tried to get me to stay saying they would take me now but I was too scared of the hygiene there to take my chances. I went the next day instead to the very clean Supernails Spa just down the road, where I was taken right away and they were nice enough to even stay open late for me and they are not anymore expensive than the mall. Skip the nasty mall and go to a place that gives you the pampering experience your paying for... Maybe I've just been watching too much tabatha's salon takeover but I just expect a certain amount of customer service and cleanliness in a nail salon! read more

Came here for a pedicure. Good location, lighting in the shop has a nice feel to it. There's no music in the shop except the music you hear from the mall. Yes, customer service here is terrible, but I'm not one to really care to sit around a chit chat with the staff so if you want workers to put you on a pedestal don't come here. Also, if want a quick mani or pedi, this won't be the place. The materials/tools they used appear to be of low quality, reused and unsanitary. They placed the tools in a small container so I don't think they're sanitized to par compared to other shops I've gone to. They washed the pumice bar and tools with regular hand soap over by the hand washing station. The callus on my feet was barely removed. Although the gentleman notice the callus from my heels, he kept trying to remove it with the purple pumice bar. By the way, he ONLY used the purple pumice on my feet. The gentleman used hand soap as part of the massaging routine (wth!?). Now my legs and feet smell like those Dial or Soft Soap hand soap! Eck. The lotion they use afterwards is probably just as pitiful. I can't wait to go home and take a shower to remove all stuff put on my lower legs and feet. The gentleman that did my pedicure was nice. He was extremely slow doing my pedicure. I'm not sure if it was him taking his time to ensure quality or if he was genuinely slow. He answered his ringing phone in the middle of the pedicure. At this point I was getting irritated and just wanted to leave. I even felt compelled to shout that I was unsatisfied and that I was not going to pay for this kind of service, but I didn't. Overall, I'd rate this place among the lowest in nail shops I've gone to. And I will not be coming here again. ever. read more

Went in today for a gel manicure because I didn't have time to go to my usual place across town. I got in quickly, but the manicurist kept switching her attention from me to a woman in the back who was getting a pedicure. Once she came back to work on me, she talked the entire time with a coworker. She was friendly enough, but because she was distracted, she cut my cuticles too close in a few spots (with dirty nippers) and didn't even say anything when there was a little blood. I got gel polish and the application was sloppy and after I noticed a few bubbles here and there. Defintely not worth the $30, especially since I try to make my gel polish last 3 weeks. Never again. I'll be going back to Ala Moana in Southdale because they do it right and without the sting afterward. read more

Every so often I have an issue, but I go back and they happily correct the problem free of charge. All of the employees work hard. I have always received quality work. I chose the gel pedicure- My cuticles are bloody and burning, poor callus scraping-my feet are still dry and rough, crooked French painting on toes (No, my toe nail did not grow on my foot crooked!!), paint on skin, seems as if the tools are not sanitized, massage/foot scrub/lotion was horrible, missing paint on the corners of my toes, just overall a bad experience. Do not go here. They are overpriced, don't do good work, and are rude to their customers. A friend and I went here on a Friday early evening for pedicures and full sets of nails. The pedicure wasn't a bad experience except my nails look like something I could have done at home. Next I was sat down for the full set and the woman doing my nails must have been a manager because every 5 minutes she was yelling for someone to do something. I asked if I could get a gel top coat with acrylic powder and non gel polish and she told me that I could not. Even though I've gotten a gel top coat many times from other nail salons. When she was putting the powder on my nails, I noticed that the pinky nail wasn't completely full on the side so I asked if she could fix it and she argued back with me about how it would be fixed when she got to filing it. When she was using the electric nail file, she filed my cuticles down until they bled. Once she got to painting my nails she left the side of one of my thumbs smudged. I sat at the drying table for about 15 minutes and then the lady asked me to pay. When I took my card out of my pocket, two of my nails smudged and they fixed it by putting more polish over it and had to sit and wait for them to dry again. They charged me $6 for putting a design on two of my nails. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Very inconsistent I want to write this place a good review because I have had decent manicures here but they are very inconsistent. Like most reviewers here said, they can be rude. It's aggrevating because my gel manicures stay on longer and look better than any other place I've tried but half the time I'm bleeding or being talked down to about my dry skin (which I have no control over due to eczema). I don't even bother getting pedicures here anymore after the first and only time. Poor poor pedis. I had my nails done on friday to kill some time while waiting for my friend. I wanted to try gel nails for the first time, so that's what I got. Quality: My right hand looks fine, but my left hand has a lot of bumps in the paint, and it bugs me a lot. While the paint on my right is fine, my cuticles are not. Damn, that woman destroyed them. I was bleeding well after the manicure. It still kinda hurts. She said it's cause I had dry cuticles, but honestly, I think it's because she was going super hard. It hurts :( She also left some paint on my skin, I picked it off myself but it's sort of annoying. It's only the second day, so I don't know how this manicure will hold up, but it seems pretty strong so far. I took a bath and theyre fine. Time: I was able to walk in, luckily. It took less than an hour for my nails to be done as well, so she was pretty fast. Price: $30 for gel nails, sorta pricey. I wasn't too concerned about it though, cause I wanted to have my nails done and I had to wait to meet up with people anyways. Staff: My lady was friendly and she complimented my natural nails. so i'll start with the one positive and that is they let me get my nails done even though they were closing within the next hour however everything went down hill the lady cut the skin around my nails a few times, the nails are uneven, they put too much acrylic gel on one nail and she even had the nerve to say it's hard doing my nails even though she was the one that kept making mistakes i have gotten acrylics countless times before and it's never gone as badly as this did. also some of the nails smudged even though i dried them for the full cycle in their drying machine and didn't touch anything for a whole hour or that's probably just due to the nail polish though. read more

This has been the second time La Nails has disappointed. The first was a poorly done acrylic set that had the nails in all different directions off the finger. The second and most recent time, the nail tech scrubbed too high on my heel that he made an open wound, after multiple times of telling him it was painful. I will not be going again. read more

First of all they were very rude when we came in and harshly told us to sit without giving us a time frame. they never offered the color wheel to me to pick a color. in a normal fill, they chip off the ends coming off then refill it, but instead the lady (wish i could remember her name) starts to pick off all of my acrylics even if they weren't loose which caused my nails to bleed and it hurt so bad i was crying!! keep in my mind i still haven't chosen a color and i'm pretty sure if i didn't ask them to see color options, they would've sent me away with no gel, just clear acrylics? I went in at 8:30 pm for a pedi and they took me anyway even though they close at 9 pm. They don't clean their foot bath tubs very well (when I stepped into the foot tub-I felt residue) so I held my feet up and didn't put them back down where they would touch the bottom. There were 3 staff. A man who was shaving an older lady's seriously thick toenails and two other ladies. Anyway, I found out that two of the ladies are sisters. In the middle of my pedi, they started bickering because the older sister wanted the younger one (the one working on my pedi) to rush. She wanted to go meet a relative at the Buddhist temple before the relative left the country. Anyway, she attempted to help by painting my toenails to speed up the process and messed up my nails. They cut into my skin too much and a day afterwards, my skin still feels raw. Anyway, I ended up requesting them to fix my nails (repainted with gel and spent more time with UV light). I didn't finish til close to 9:30 pm. I was exhausted from the bickering and complaining between the sisters. I feel for family business dynamics and relationships but I will probably never go back. Next time, I'm returning to my regular place where sanitization, silence and relaxation is a part of the experience. read more
