After waiting 15 minutes, a Woman approached me and took me to a chair, started running the water and then asked me to wait for a tech. After sitting there another 10 minutes with no one coming, I walked out. When I left, I informed the person at the front desk that I was canceling my appointment and won't be back. When I stated that, the person at the front desk seemed to not care about my business. Very disappointing because I've always had a pleasant experience there but this was disheartening. Needless to say, I am now sitting in the chair at Flora Nail Salon. I was greeted well and got taken care of right away. You have lost a good client.

He didn't come back out and I never got the lotion massage as the other lady wiped it off with a hot towel (I didn't say anything because she was flustered and had her own client). Will not be going back here.

My normal salon that I go to was closed and I needed to get my nails done in a pinch, but for $45, my nails never last more than a week. The manager provides great direction to his staff. The service here is great. One of the reasons I consider this salon the best is because of the way they treat individuals with disabilities. They are always pleasant and very accommodating. They offer extra attention to ensure the individuals are comfortable and always welcome them with a bright smile. This is very important when serving this population. The service and attention to detail would be my other reason for considering this salon the best. I'm always satisfied with the service I receive here. They offer a beverage upon your arrival and always smile when serving you. An excellent pedicure and manicure combo is offerred for $35. I was not happy with my nails after leaving this place. I showed a picture of the design I wanted…read moreto the nail tech, only to be met with something completely different. It started with an argument about cutting my nails down. I requested to have them cut short, and the nail tech kept insisting that she will only "trim" them. I requested short as one of my nails is crack deep and will continue to crack unless cut and filed down. The design I showed them looked like it was done with cat eye silver glitter and chrome. The nail tech painted my nails with a stark white and added a chunky glitter top coat. Even then she kept arguing with me after I asked for a second layer of the glitter as it didn't look like anything was added to my nails. There was no shape made to my nails. Another nail tech came to the design and add the chrome powder. During clean up the original tech took off some of the chrome with the acetone and didn't bother to fix it. I paid $120 for a mani/pedi for my nails look sloppy and nothing like what I asked for.

At first I was surprised at the cost, $35 for a manicure (this kind of polish comes at additional cost), but after seeing how long it lasts, it was worth every penny. I've tried other nail salons in the area where their gel polish (maybe because of the brand they use or their method of curing each coat) started lifting and peeling after two weeks despite my additional care. My manicure at Magic Nails lasted over a month with no lifting at all! I only had a small crack in one nail, which was primarily because of me lifting something heavy and bending the nail. I'll be returning for a manicure and pedicure, and will be bringing my mom too! Thanks so much!
