The Horchata De Olla states 5.25 or 6.25 Which includes Horchata + Cafe De Olla + COLD MILK FOAM

Good for drinks and staff is always helpful I appreciate their service. But this is the 2nd time this has happened The Horchata De Olla states 5.25 small or 6.25 large Which includes Horchata + Cafe De Olla + COLD MILK FOAM But when you order it. Cashiers are charging $0.75 extra for cold foam. (which it's probably not their fault intentionally, they're just trained to do so) But it's MISLEADING because under the title it already includes all 3????? That should have some parentheses next to cold foam then and put (+0.75) Y'all are Robbing I know I'm not the only one confused by this. Shoutout to Karina and I didn't get the other cashiers name. But she was patient and awesome Karina knows who

Tres Leches Cake, the first bite

For the fans of the Tres Leches cake, this is the spot to visit. I ordered a slice of tres leches with some black tea and it hit the spot. The cream on top of the cake tasted very fresh and the layers were very moist, like a proper tres leches is supposed to be. Definitely a must try! The place has a nice selection of baked goods and has a warm, rustic feel to it, brought by its design full of wooden finishes. There are a few tables for dining in and the service is very friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again!

We loved this bakery spot. My girlfriend loved the Trenza pastries. I loved the Horchata Concha the best. It was moist upon eating even without heating it up the next day. The Horchata Matcha Concha was a little dry. They were kind enough to heat up 2 of our pastries even though we ordered them to-go. Friendly staff. I liked the aesthetic indoor setting. Horchata Matcha Concha: 3.5/5 (great taste, a little dry) Trenza (corn rajas and cheese): 4.5/5 Horchata Concha: 4.5/5 (moist, sweet, smooth flavor)

Charming and delicious!! Friendly workers. I got the Caffé Oaxaca -- guys it was so good. I wanted iced and they were out, so I settled for hot, but I'm glad I did! It's was comfort in a cup! Chocolatey, subtly spiced, and warm. I can't wait to return!

I don't live to far from this place but I will admit my experience here was very enjoyable. Don't get me wrong I love going to starbucks, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, toms coffee, and other local coffee shops; however, this location is very nice and quiet and has very helpful staff. Staff here is very professional and nice. I ordered a tres leches hot coffee with little to no sweeteners due to being type 2 diabetic and i always bring my laptop to due work or class work online. The lady was nice enough to bring me a piece of cake for free, unfortunately, today wasn't my cheat day so i had to refuse but next time i will devour it lol. My only 2 cons would be they need tea options and need wifi for laptops. 5/5 experience. Definitely coming here a lot.

Very bad customer service! Very rude and unpleasant staff!!! The cashier was frustrated with me because i was little bit confused with the choice of coffee, he didn't even take the time to help me out with my order!!!!!

The food looks amazing. I can not leave any reviews on service and ambiance because I didn't purchase the items but they look amazing.

Went a few days ago while up in LA with my boyfriend. As soon as I saw they had champurrado we ended up going. It was delicious! Especially when it was raining and windy. The ladies in cashier were super nice and helpful !. I would go again when up in LA. Next day I tried the horchata matcha with strawberry foam and it was delicious as well. You think it'll be super sweet but at least for me it wasn't, it was just right. You can forget to get a concha while sipping on coffee either. It's not super dry how some other places make it which is great they're also bite size mini conchas . They're open from 6am-8pm :) and small parking but there other places around to park.

Cafe de Olla

Finally was able to stop by one of these panaderías and it was great. Delicious conchas and cafe de olla. Staff were very nice and it is small but parking was easy. Highly recommend this place

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 3/5 I stopped by one morning to pick up coffee for some friends who had highly praised this spot. My first impression was that it's a cozy little coffee shop, but the drinks are on the pricier side. I ordered a Café de Olla and a Café Oaxaca. I've had Café de Olla before, which is a cinnamon-infused coffee with added sweetness. While it's not my personal favorite, it was well-made. The Café Oaxaca, on the other hand, stood out. It's similar to a mocha but has its own twist, I could taste cinnamon and bits of chocolate, which was pretty impressive. If you enjoy cinnamon-infused drinks, this place is a must try. I'd definitely come back for the Café Oaxaca!

a gift! Thank you Joanna!
Zo P.

Came in for a quick drink in the middle of a neighborhood stroll, and was not disappointed. Cafe was empty besides one other customer, with whom the cashier Joanna was extremely kind and conversational with. She helped him while I browsed and immediately turned her attention to me once he left, she was extremely attentive. She asked about my day and we chatted about how hard it can be to find wedding cookies year round, and she gave me a gift after my purchase with some extras which i am SO GRATEFUL FOR (note: i want to return daily for more, they are so good). She also asked if I wanted cinnamon on top of my matchata and was extremely attentive when I mentioned an allergy, ensuring that the cinnamon within was alright (i can have cooked/processed, weird I know). She asked my name before leaving and left me with a huge smile on my walk home. La Monarca is where community starts, this is what community is.

Cute coffee bar.

Such a cute Mexican bakery and coffee shop. Was searching for a panaderia to get a "Rosca de Reyes" for "Día de Los Reyes Magos" - Epiphany day - (January 6th). I just get these wreaths of pan dulce for the fun of it as you have to find the tiny baby doll inside the sweet bread. It's covered with jewel-like candied fruits in a circular shape and is a fun tradition in Latin America. Whoever finds the baby doll is supposed to throw a tamale party. La Monarca had some freshly made and these can be hard to find! It also looks great and not piled on with too much candied fruit like some of them are. They also have gorgeous cakes (the trés leches cake looks amazing) and I had to try a breakfast burrito made with chipotle bacon. They specialize in lattes with horchata and condensed milk. Amazing coffee! Free parking in their lot and tables inside to eat in.

Horchata Matcha

So happy I found this authentic Mexican bakery and cafe! I've stopped a couple of times for some champurrado and flan! I've also tried their mollete with soyrizo (it has a kick!) and Horchata Matcha, everything has been so yummy! I personally didn't really like the Horchata Latte, but Silvio was very kind and quick to offer me a different drink, very lovely customer service! I'm walking distance to this location, so didn't have to park, but they do have a parking lot! So excited to make this my new go to spot!

Passionfruit cream filling wasn't too sweet. I loved the tart passionfruit seeds. But you might want to scoop some out if you don't enjoy too much sourness. Elderflower Rhubarb Danish - way too crunchy, would prefer it to be crispy instead of a crunch. Filling was good, not too sweet. Black Sesame Parisian Flan -if you love black sesame, this would be right up your alley. Perfect sweet treat to bring to any auntie's home! Blueberry Tea Scone -not too dense. Surprisingly not too sweet even with the demerara sugar coating. It wasn't really crunchy but more sticky and caramelized from sitting.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off.
