Good variety of ice cream and paletas among other snacks and aguas. Husband and kiddos had ice cream, which they really liked. I ordered the mini pancakes, definitely disappointed, they were whole wheat. Tasted dry and underwhelming, so bummed I was hoping for some fluffy moist pancakes. Next time, I'll just get ice cream too.
I was craving ice cream, but I couldn't pinpoint what I wanted exactly. I wasn't leaning towards something artisanal/hand-crafted/very expensive. I wanted something that wasn't quite Baskin Robbins, but not quite Long Beach Creamery. We ended up at La Michoacana and to be honest, I've never been to any Hispanic dessert spots like this before, so this was brand new for me. But I saw the pics of their ice cream and the prices and I was sold because it looks like it fit the spot. The lady working there (I believe the owner) was extremely helpful and friendly with talking about her product and the options and was more than willing to let us sample. I ended up doing the triple scoop, which was only I think $7 or $8, and, as you can see in the pictures, she loaded it up. I think it took me 3-4 days to finish this. I did the cookie monster, ferrero rocher, and espresso flavors. Out of the 3, I found the espresso to be the best, with the rocher coming in VERY close as both had their respective distinctive flavors. The cookie monster was good, but it didn't stand out as much. I think I just got suckered in by the blue color hah. Overall, I enjoyed the ice cream here and would definitely come back when I'm craving ice cream that doesn't have to be a crazy artisanal flavor.
My co-workers recommended that I try it. This was everything I didn't know I needed. This time, just a Mangonada, next time will be food.
I came here on two different occasions haha The first time, just some ice cream and a milkshake. Not bad. Prices are fair and I love supporting local. There's something here for everyone. No matter what you're craving. The second time, I came for the chocolate dipped banana and rocky road ice cream. Two small complaints. The banana was super hard to bite. I know it's frozen but dang! I couldn't finish it. I got tired of trying to bite it. The chocolate on it taste "fake". Like plastic. The "gamsito" flavored ice cream is the real winner here. That's why I came the first time. The rocky road took a big L. Too sugary and not enough nuts and marshmallows. I'll just stick to the gansito ice cream next time. But don't let me steer you away from trying it for yourself. My party and I had a great time and service was good. The girls in there are super cool and helpful. Thanks for the good time. Keep it up
Stopped in yesterday for a post workout treat. The place is very big and bright. Cant help but feel happy when you walk in. They have a wide variety of both milk and ice ice creams. On top of that they have some some amazing looking paletas. I mean you can see all the natural fruit and lots of it in the paletas. It was my first time there and the man helping us was so kind and patient. We must have sampled like 10 flavors. We settled on the pina and on the coffee flavor. The pina had so many chunks of pineapple. It was sweet but not too much. The coffee flavor was the beat coffee ice cream i had ever had. It wasnt too overpowering but you could definitely taste the coffee. My new favorite ice cream place. I will need to go back and try their paletas. My only issue was that there needs to be a bigger menu. They didn't have anything on the wall instead it was a small list on the case. I think i would have ordered more if they had a bigger menu with some pictures so i could see what it looked like.
OMG the bionicos is so yummy a very large amount for the price. La Michoacán is such a cute unique place that I absolutely love. They have all types of yummy sweets and treats. All safety protocols are in full effect. The decor is beautifully decorated with a great color theme #pink. I will definitely return very soon
I tried the bionicos (similar to what some may call a fruit salad with yogurt/cream and granola). A large is $12 and totally worth it in my opinion. They are not greedy with their portions. You get plenty of fruit and granola, smothered in a smooth crema sauce. The fruits include: - strawberry - banana - cantaloupe - melon - green apple - cucumber And the granola contains raisins and coconut. It's delicious and the cream isn't too sweet so it compliments the fruit very well. The shop has indoor dining and lots of standing/sitting space. Parking is limited to the curb located in front of the store and the street just past the shop on your right hand side (just before the lot with all of the post office vehicles). Stop by for dessert or a snack. They've got more than just fruits... ice cream, aguas frescas, paletas, etc. (which are also super good). Enjoy!
Decided to try this place as we were craving a sweet treat and they did no disappoint! Tried the hot Cheetos dusted esquite, some ice cream and a frappe which were all delicious. Place was also very clean and I loved that all employee were adhering to Covid guidelines.

Great value! Been here a couple times and had good experiences. The first time, was to support Hubby's ice cream craving. I suggested this place that I've been curious about for years. It's hard not to notice the bright pink building that I often drive past. I wasn't in an ice cream mood at the time and though I didn't order anything, I did sample a few dairy-free flavors that were tasty while Hubby ordered a large container of Cookie Monster and other flavors. On our most recent visit, I went back with Hubby and a friend. Again, I wasn't craving ice cream but remembered they have açaí bowls. Though the variety of bases and toppings does not compare to places specializing in açaí bowls, this still hit the spot! I got the Açaí and Peanut Butter Bowl with strawberries, coconut, and granola. Note to self, they don't use that healthy all-natural peanut butter but rather that sugary-sweet peanut butter and I'm not mad at it at all. I also ordered blueberries which they forgot to add but again, I'm not mad because we had a bit of a language barrier during the ordering process and we did our best to communicate with each other. OMG the bionicos is so yummy a very large amount for the price. La Michoacán is such a cute unique place that I absolutely love. They have all types of yummy sweets and treats. The ice cream was good but ordered biónicos not good at all, the cream was very runny like if they added water. The crema is what makes a biónico delicious. This location was close by my home. Will rather drive to paramount to another place for the biónicos in shopping center of Northgate don't remember the little shop but it's perfect there. read more

I am so happy I went here today. I always had an impression about La Michoacana and that is that it's just chain. But I was so wrong, this place is exceptional. My liquido was prefect, not too sweet. The grilled cheese sandwich was a good combination, I never thought a grilled cheese can have so much; onion, avocado, and tomato. I'll be back next week. Oh! The employees were so nice. read more

Finally!!!!!! I've been waiting for this place to open for almost 6 months. Their ice cream is home made and delicious. They have crazy concoctions that sound too far fetched but yet so damn delicious. I ordered a cereal Ice cream bar and man it's delicious. Sitting here for the last 30 minutes the line doesn't stop and they are prompt. North Long Beach is becoming a great place to come and hang out. Stop by, you can't miss it, the building is bright pink. Will be coming here as often as I can without the wife knowing I am gaining weight. Lol. read more

The staff are very kind and attentive. There's a variety of ice-cream and Agua fresca flavors to choose from. Lots of snacks too, like corn en vaso/palo, diablitos, hot cheetos con queso, escamocha, fruitas, churritos, chicharron con cueros, and dorilocos. They've also got icecream popsicles, freshly made. Indoor seating available, clean and spacious. read more

Customer service is great! They have everything, when you don't see the elote man and craving corn they got you! With Hot Cheetos crumbs as a option as well. They have almost everything!! But as a tip I would recommend them to have a more clear and informative menu. The building and interior being pink is such a attractive attraction, love it. read more

Went in there today around 3:30 had my husband buy me a popsicle he got himself one as well my 11year old got an esquite (corn) and some other stuff . Never did It cross my mind to check my sons esquite untill we where on our way home we live in East compton . I gaged I felt bad for my son because he had already tooken couple bites We took off the top coat of mayo and cheese turned out to be the corn was spoil or either they had left over corn and just used that one . Well it was stinky and dark nothing like nice plumpy yellow corn . Now my son feels sick with a stomach ache and diarrhea sadly . Please check things before you serve them to customers not just grown ups consume your foods but kids as well . I tried calling phones are "busy" or they don't work . Google had 2 number tried them both and nothing . I wanted to call and tell them personally just so they don't get anyone else sick !!! read more
