Do not stop and do business with these idiots! They start out nice until they get your money. When we bought our brand new Winnebago travel trailer it had a dented rim. They told us someone hit a curb while at a show but they would replace it if we bought it and they did. I foolishly signed a paper saying I knew it had body damage that was repaired. I also purchased all the extended warranties, tire coverage, protective coating (a total joke) put on with a spray bottle and rag. Once we finally were able to pick up our trailer(3 months later), we had non-stop problems. The slideout tracking was off and it came I at an angle which subsequently dug into our flooring. There was no air conditioning from the brand new extra unit we had installed before we picked it up. Our unit also burned up 3 batteries in two years and continues to do so. The stereo DVD didn't work and still cuts out intermittently, the body leaked horribly in even light rain. They kept telling us that they fixed the leaks but every time it rained, it leaked buckets of water. The decals were also peeling. When we picked up the RV after replacing the decals and several other repairs, we noticed that the same side where the damaged rim was had some places looked for the lack of a better word, "puckered", Tara responded " it looks great considering the damage that was done in the accident". The whole slide had to be repaired to close $8,000 damage. They never disclosed this!! Scumbags! After our second trip in the trailer, we were on our way home from Monterey. Someone flagged us on the freeway to tell us we were dragging something. We got off at the next exit and found that we were dragging the propane attachment fixture for the BBQ and the metal line that runs the length of the trailer to feed it. The metal line was bent all the way back on itself evidently sparking the whole way. Apparently the fixture had come loose and detached from the side of the trailer. We feel very fortunate as this could have been catastrophic or deadly. One of the numerous repairs was on the under carriage. Winnebago's have a solid hard plate to discourage mice and insects from making nests that runs the entire length of the body. Instead of unscrewing the plate to access the slideout, they cut a hole in it and patched it with duct tape. ARE YOU KIDDNG ME??? There have been so many water leaks internally that we fix things ourselves now. We don't even take it there because they usually screw things up, not fix them. We had a brand new piece of electronics "go missing" while being repaired as well. After the lies, dishonestly and not to mention endangering our family, we will not go back EVER. The jerks made was should have been a fun, adventurous and exciting time in our lives a living hell. Don't believe a word of that comes out of their mouths, especially Tara. The absolute worst place to buy an RV and expect to receive service. Our refrigerator on our brand new unit went out on a recent camping trip and we consequently lost ALL our food in the fridge. I call for service and go the most Absolutely rude service manager. This is not our first run in with this service department. The last time we brought it in, they had it for over a week diagnose the problem only to tell us they could not fix it. The Manager Aaron was not helpful and said that it would be booked out at least a month for service because they are "under construction" and have been for the last several months. He was short with me, absolutely NO customer service skills. When I said we have had poor service, he did not seem to care and told me that I could go to another dealer. We are Camp Fire survivors from Paradise, CA. We lost our home, husband's business on 11/8/18. We purchased a 2019 30' Winnebago Minnie Plus from La Mesa RV Center taking delivery on Dec. 11, 2018. On May 15, 2019 the roof nearly collapsed due to water retention through the rainy season with water dripping at a fast pace from the main slide ceiling trim. Water also beaded at the kitchen slide and carpeting at the bed headboard also was wet. We delivered the unit to La Mesa RV Center repair center on May 17 - an hour and a half drive from where we were staying. We still do not have a target date of completion. I am a disabled senior and have been sleeping on an air mattress at a friend's home, husband also with disabilities sleeping on a foam mattress. After 3 months we have worn out our welcome waiting for return of our home. We are living out of our car - staying at friend's homes or hotels where we can find a pet friendly one. We had initially been told it would be repaired in 3 weeks. It has been over 3 months. We have been searching to purchase a home to no avail in our price range. We have asked manufacturer for a full refund (we paid for the unit cash). We asked dealership for a replacement unit and sales manager laughed at me when I explained our situation as I did above) and said he couldn't do that but he'd sell me another one. We bought our first trailer and feel as though we didn't get the same service that a Hetero couple would have gotten. We were told our sales guy would be there at pickup, told our rig came with a ladder for the bunks, told we could call anytime. None is true, although we can call anytime...but we wait forever just to be given the runaround. The doors fell off the "master" bedroom, the base that the table leg goes in came completely off and did I mention no ladder for the bunk? We have made some repairs ourself, and have even been approached on FB by a sales rep from the brand we bought...but still no calls from La Mesa. We get that they are building a new structure and things are wonky...but we've had to "make due" with a brand new rig that we make monthly payments on. read more

Had a great experience with Reggie in West Sacramento. He was able to real us in as we were a bit all over the place. The financing was quick and easy. We came in about 10:30 and we were out by 1:00 all in, deal done. He was very helpful and we enjoyed our experience. Hopefully delivery of our trailer goes as smooth. Update: the rest did not go smoothly. We had several issues with our coach, we had to cut a camping trip 3 days short. Our tire went bald in patches on a 30 min drive to campsite, our battery got so hot the water was boiling out of battery and smelled horrible. Our awning was coming away from track, our bedroom door does stay on and has screws hanging out, a few cosmetic issues. We definitely were not prepared for that. So after wasting my vacation to sit at home, I also lost 300$ on our camp site. So frustrating. Will update on experience with repairs. Update #2 Cameron the sales Mgr has told service not to fix our tire. You would think they would take care of the customer, but had I read reviews, I'd have seen that's not their thing. I purchased a brand new 5th wheel from these guys and as soon as they had the down payment of $10,000.00 in their greedy little hands, I have not been helped since. I did not buy a small travel trailer or weekend camper. This is my full year-round home and I am paying nearly $150,000.00 thousand dollars. In the 90-days since delivery, the shower has sprung a leak, the rear tv is defective, the front living section with all of the electronics leaks water when it rains and the sensors for the black and grey waste tanks never reads anything except 33% regardless of how full or empty they may be. When I call the service department, no one answers the phone. I have to call sales to get an answer and then be transferred directly to management at which point they immediately try and get off the phone by promising to return the call or emailing with a solution. They don't call back and they offer no assistance in any way. Ask yourself, if I am spending 150k with these guys and can't even get a phone call returned. What are they going to do to YOU??? Tara is great at keeping us fully informed whenever our coach has been in for warranty or maintenance service. We've dealt with other dealers' service in the past and Tara is in the top of her field. After 3 weeks of purchasing a trailer from La Mesa RV the slide will not function anymore and the wait time just to even get someone to look at it is over a month and they told me that I am being squeezed into it because the normal wait time is 4 to 5 months. So after paying thousands of dollars my families summer plans of camping is over and they can careless over there because I have attempted to speak to several managers and my situation falls on death ears. That was the easy part. The service department is very unprofessional. No one returns our calls or provides updates as to the status of our trailer. Our Minnie Winnie is in for a few minor warranty repairs. Due to this delay, our travel plans have been delayed. I could go on and on. I do see many poor reviews for this company. Short story La Mesa was condescending and non professional, after waiting 4 months (with an appointment) was told we did not have an appointment and that we made a mistake but they could help us in 5 more months. Disappointed customer During a vacation our frame on our trailer broke. Being very confident because our trailer was still on warranty and extended warranty or only 6 months old we took it to the nearest RV repair place which was in Spokane WA. Repairs were paid for by the frame makers. Two representatives from La Mesa RV promised to repay our travel expenses and would get back to us. After given them two months to reply, we've heard nothing back from either representative. We've had many defects with our Heartland trailer. My husband prefers to to the repairs so our trailer is not in the shop for a long period. Today our water tank came out of the frame. read more

I brought the coach in with a failed electric powered tongue jack. My service rep, Tara, researched our extended warranty and learned that it was covered. The next day we scheduled a pick time, I picked up the coach with the new jack. The whole process went like clockwork. read more

UPDATE (05/03/18): We bought our RV a year ago, and we totally regret buying from La Mesa RV. We loved our salesman (see below), but we've had nothing but trouble with the service team: broken promises, poor craftsmanship, and a general lack of concern. Literally one week out the door, we called to ask a simple question about the battery and we were told to "go on YouTube" and see for yourself. We were promised things would be replaced, then told, sorry we can't replace it now. We've had replaced flooring done so poorly, we'd rather have the massive scratches from malfunctioning parts. We had globs of glue left, new scratches and dents made, a broken side mirror, and so much more. We invested in an $180,000 rolling house and we expected much more care and follow through. We're so disappointed and now we're stuck in an 8-year relationship with the extended warranty we already purchased. Copy of letter sent to Corporate Office re: Recent service experience April 11, 2016 To whom it may concern, I would like to take the time, here, to express my extreme appreciation to the La Mesa RV, Davis service staff. My wife and I purchased a new 2016 Winnebago Vista LX 35F a few weeks ago. Our sales experience was very pleasant, but that is another story. After our first "shake-down" cruise to Yosemite NP, I brought the motorhome in without a service appointment because one of the black tanks would not dump. I anticipated resistance from the service department because I did not have an appointment. But Jim, the shop foreman, dropped everything he was doing, on a very busy day, and took the time to take my coach to the dump station and was able to empty the tank with a smile. I'm sure he thought I was some greenhorn, but I insisted that I was a RV veteran, telling him that we had traded in our class-C for this new class-A rig, and that these systems are simple technology. For the life of me I could not figure out what I had done wrong. I did exactly the same thing that Jim had done. Oh well, chalk it up to experience. I thanked Jim and went on my way. The following week, our motorhome saw the NASCAR race at Sonoma and, in the end, I encountered the same problem. The 2nd black tank would not dump. Now, mind you, I am not senile. In fact, I'm a young (55 y.o.) high school math teacher. We're supposed to be the smartest guys in the room, right? (not). So this time, I shot a video, with my phone, of my process. I sent it to Jim and he said it looked like I was doing everything right: The tank had liquid in it, I had opened the knife-valve on the passenger side, opened the knife-valve on the driver side, and engaged the macerator pump; not a trickle. What the heck? Although the schedulers, on the phone, had done their jobs by telling me that the soonest I could have an appointment was two months from now, Jim told me to bring it in Monday morning and they would "see what could be done". That was this morning. When I arrived, my service writer, Matt greeted me with a smile, and I explained my problem. He and I took the rig to the dump station and hooked it all up, pulled all the handles, pushed the button, and... nothing. Ok, I admit it. I was elated that this whole thing was not my early onset of Alzheimer's. But now I clearly have a mechanical problem with a big summer trip to Canada on the horizon for next week. The next two hours had Matt and technician Alex working diligently to diagnose the problem. And after pulling the pump out, disassembling half of the backside plumbing, and taking some black water in the face, the problem was solved. The source of the problem was clearly a manufacturing error. The culprit of the clog was all of the debris from drilling the tank holes, including the "hole" itself, which had fallen inside the tank when drilled with a hole-saw. During all of this time, Matt, Alex, Jim, and manager Aaron, whom I thanked personally, represented your organization with professionalism and a sincere desire to, not just solve a problem and do a job, but help me in a time of need. The element of human kindness that was shown by all of the service staff, can only be a direct result of fostering a relationship within and throughout the company as a whole and hiring and nurturing good employees. In conclusion, I owe your people a debt of gratitude. If I can ever be an advocate for your business, please call on me. I plan to send my thoughts to Yelp, of course, but it will just be one of many reviews there. So, I sincerely hope that this letter finds its way to those people who direct the company, and that they will take it as a compliment to themselves personally. I made an appointment weeks in advance. They were well aware at the time of the appointment what kind of RV I had. They were well aware when I brought my RV in what I had and yet after having my RV for 5 days they suddenly realize they have the wrong parts. If I hadn't called to check on it they wouldn't have even have told me. They promised the RV would be ready in a week as we had a trip planned. Now they don't know when the part will be here or when it will be ready. The managers response? "What do you want me to do about it?" They said they didn't provide service for my vehicle because it was too old. The fact that it was originally purchase from La Mesa RV didn't matter. WORST dealership ever!!! My husband and I bought a GENTLY used ( only 1700 miles) American Coach by Fleetwood July 2016. We immediately had several issues with it, including a roof leak. While it was at LaMesa, they wrecked it! The coach had to be taken back to the manufacturer to replace the roof. In the almost 17 months of ownership, we've actually had in our possession for 6 weeks!!!!! It's been back at LaMesa for 2 months now for slide issues. Every time they call and tell us it's ready for pick up, we make the 5 hour round trip drive only to come home empty handed again! We've made at least 14 trips there in the last year and only brought the coach home once, and then had to turn around and drive it right back. This place is ridiculous. Customer service is awful. Amazing how the sales people always answer the phone but service dept. never does. We purchased a brand new 34ft pace arrow. Not a cheap endeavor. Couldn't get an appointment for months to fix things that were wrong. Then when got the rig back the things we PAID to add didn't work. What a joke. When we call our "service rep" they never respond. Twice we have had technical issues while on the road that we have had to solve via the internet. Do not make a purchase from this place and expect good customer service. So disappointed. read more

Made a special trip to Sac today to go to the La Mesa RV Show. Worked with an awesome guy named Steve that put quite a bit of effort into us, showing us over 20 different units in some pretty intense heat. Made an offer to get the process started and then a sales manager named Dave Moreland came out to tell me that the price is what it is and I need to just pay that price. He said there is no negotiation and there must be something wrong with me if I didn't see the value, and made a derogatory comment to my 8 year old daughter about me as we walked out he door. I really liked the salesman, and was looking forward to the negotiation. Truth be told, we were willing to pay full price to get the rig we wanted until the 'Manager" managed to lose the sale for the hard working salesman. My advice to Steve would be to get a job somewhere else and tell that Manager that he needs to treat your customers better. I still think Yelp needs a "Zero Stars" option. Let me start by saying that the Sales team at La Mesa RV is wonderful. If you are going to buy find Les. He was so helpful and no pressure! Now the bad news. The service department is horrible! We bought a brand new coach and it has been in the shop at La Mesa three times. It is not the service department's fault that our Fleetwood Discovery has problems but we are less than satisfied with repairs. We had an electrical fire in our RV and the electric side of the hot water heater does not work. We explained there was a straight up fire and the source of the fire needed to be found. The mechanic simply turned the electric side of the heater on and found hot water. Imagine that! We live in our RV so the water was hot from us heating it with propane. Fleetwood told the mechanic to access the water heater from the master bath. They removed the panel and were unable to see the source of the fire. The water heater needed to be pulled out completely to find the melted wires. The mechanic then said everything was fine. Long story short our water heater still does not work on power. To top it off they let our batteries run down and thawed all our food in the refrigerator out! We had to throw about 200 dollars worth of food out. I don't blame the service manager but do blame the lazy mechanic who worked on our rig. Go somewhere else for service! read more

This place profiles their customers. We showed up in our 10 year old minivan, parked right in front of the showroom, we go in and everyone completely ignores us. I finally find a guy in an office and ask if we can see some RV's, he looks us up and down and says and says in this gypsy voice "We have nothing for you to see here" This is a service only lot. I'm like okay, then why do you have RV's displayed for sale all over the lot with prices listed on the windshield. This guy reminds me of one of the creepy finance managers in a car dealership. I say never mind and we leave and go down the street to American River RV where they are SUPER nice and show us several RV's that we are interested in and possibly purchase. Only come to this dealership if you are driving a brand new car and are over 50 and look like your dripping with money, otherwise they'll have "nothing for you to see here" read more

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. We purchased a 2017 THOR CHATEAU RV in July 2016, numerous problems and never an appointment available for repair. Waits are one to two months while we pay for storage for the RV and cancel scheduled trips. This time the refrigerator went out while in New Mexico, beautiful primitive site. What a way to END a trip and add Stress to trying to save food just purchased. Nothing that Lamesa can do for us....typical. Do I call La Mesa in Albuquerque and drive back there, spending all that money on gasoline ! Do I REGRET this purchase ? Yes, I sure do, BIG MISTAKE ! WHAT are my legal consumer protections for this...... that is something I will research. Take my advice and stay far away from this company !!!!! Found out that La Mesa RV was my RV's local dealer and was thrilled since they are centrally located. We had one excellent service experience with some warranty work but had an on going problem with one item that didn't get correctly adjusted under warranty. We read good things about the service department but were given the run around for a fix to this ongoing problem. No one took responsibility for fix some work that had been done incorrectly the first time. I suspect that the tech doing the work was not up to the task. Our service rep was very friendly but kept telling us different stories as to why the problem with our RV kept reoccurring. I will be going elsewhere for most service. read more

I need to post this. I saw an advertisement on TV that La Mesa was doing a large RV show at the old Sleep Train arena. We decided to drive there and check it out. We have been shopping for a new RV for quite a while and we had visited La Mesa several times and got an idea of RV prices. After several trips there over a 6 month period, they did not have a floor plan that we liked. As we got to Sacramento, we knew where the Sleep Train arena was, so we turned down one of the streets that leads to the arena. We (Along with about a dozen other cars) were driving around and couldn't find the sale. I stopped and called La Mesa and asked for directions or where the RV show was. I was put on hold for 5 minutes, then someone told me where it was. I explained that we did not see any signs or directions. Finally after a few other turns, we found 2 signs, very hard to see signs. We walked around for a few hours and had the sales people following us around like fleas on a dog!! How annoying!! Can't we just look?? If we have questions, we will come get you. What a shocker!! The prices had gone up tremendously!! Oh, but wait, we have them on sale!!! Hike the price 20% then give us a 10% discount!! What a rip off!! RV's that we saw on their lot were around $28,000.00, but at the show they were marked to $36,995.00, and on sale today for $31,995.00 !! WTH is that all about? Now here is the worst part. I never gave my name or phone number to anyone, but now I am getting a phone call a week asking when I am coming in to buy and RV. (All I can figure is that they did a caller I.D. on my phone call to them.) Finally after 6 weeks I didn't answer my phone, they just hung up. So I called back and demanded for them not to contact me any more. I will call you when I am ready!!! La Mesa sales-people are like pesty fleas, you can't get rid of them. THEY ARE ANNOYING!!!! I purchased an RV and realized that there were many issues and problems after I brought it home. I took it back to get it fixed and my vehicle stayed there for three months for "fixing". When I got it back, the air conditioner wasn't working and they told me that it was completely normal when I brought it up. It has been four months since my purchase and there are still many problems that haven't been solved. Once you purchase the vehicle, they don't care or help you anymore. I purchased a five year warranty along with my vehicle but turns out that there's no point of that if nothing is ever going to get fixed. They discriminate against those who do not speak English well. Making this purchase at La Mesa is the worst decision and my biggest regret in life. read more

Parts Dept.... So disheartening to say they failed to meet minimum customer service expectations. I had really held out and tried to believe in the idea they would get it together and pull it off. I called on Monday to get a replacement window for my rig that I bought FROM THEM. After providing a Vin number, make and model ( you would think they would have my information on file since I bought the trailer from them and had my rig serviced with them a few times), dimensions of the window, it's now day 4 and I still haven't heard if they can get me a new one ordered. I'm a paying customer. Not doing an insurance claim or warranty claim. WTF?! A typical day involves multiple emails and multiple phone calls to the parts department just to be completely blown off. If this was an automobile I'd have the dang window installed the same day!! Now the rain's back and I have no window. Epic failure in customer service. Shame on you guys. I'm over it. This place is the worst RV costumer service and needs help. They left multiple things on like the gas stove they set off our carbon dioxide detector. They did not clean off our battery so it did not run so we had to rush to an RV show to fix it. These people have no idea what Customer service is. Bought a new Motor home Jan.2020. They took until March to get warranty items done with us having to nag at them to find out what was being done. Made one trip and had to take it back, As some of the original items were not repaired. Also had several other items that needed to be done. One was the bed was deflating.They have had it this time for two and a half months and no communication unless I call and nag them. I called today and they told me to pick it up. They also said that the bed is still not repaired. Have no idea when they will get the part. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I give one star as that is the lowest you can give. There are two sides I will comment on, sales and service. We bought a travel trailer at a show at Cal Expo. The salesman was great to work with. We purchased the extended warranty for a negotiated price of $1999 from the original asking price of $2999. We got a great deal and was 5 star satisfied from the purchase process. The service center on the other hand is where my problems began. I had my coach in for repairs. When I picked it up, I noticed the metal pull handle welds of my exterior steps was broke and bar was sticking out to the side. I said it must have been hit with a forklift or something to break that weld. The employee was apologetic and suggested I leave it for be repaired. I just drove an hour to get there. I said no, I want it repaired the next time I come in for service. He said that would be fine. He took evidence photos with his phone and said he will put this in my file so I can have it fixed at the next service. The next time I sent my trailer for service, they said they had no record of any damage being done by them. There are no note or photos in my file. I had no proof. I just want the bar tacked back on and spray the welds with a primer. They refused to fix it for free. They said I would have to pay shop rate to have it done. I told the service rep "I'm not coming back. You just lost a customer over this. This probably doesn't effect you (business) does it?" He responded, "NO, it won't affect us at all." Then he turned around and walked away. And that fellow yelpers, is how La Mesa RV in Davis views and treats their customers. read more

Le Mesa RV sucks Big time - we were approved for a 5th wheel - after 3 hrs of "talking to" the salesman was sure we would have no problem getting our loan and he was gonna work on it first thing Monday morning- we called la Mesa several time a day with no answer we even called the salesmans cellphone no response finally the following Friday we learn that they hadn't even started finding a lender! Needless to say we sold our current RV and boat to afford the new one, we signed a contract and "thought" we had a new 5th wheel!!! turns out the lender they chose denied our loan, would've been nice to have been told earlier - we had to put $1,000 deposit down to hold the RV (so no one else could put an offer on it) when we got denied our loan we asked for our $1,000 back we were told sure no problem, it's been a week now and no refund!!!! When I called the finance lady "Nancy" she put me on hold then had her "assistant" talk to me- she was ok talking to us before we got denied but now she doesn't have the time of day for us - pretty crappy to just transfer is to her "assistant" to have to deal with upset customers!! I would never deal with la Mesa RV or anyone that works there! They are cheats and liars! read more

I do not know where to start, But I cannot express how amazing Marc Neithercutt, Kevin Dunn and Tiny Ford are . Not only are they extremely professional and hard working but they are simply magicians. I had purchased a 34ft keystone and it needed to be delivered, as well as fit into not only a difficult but a tiny space. Well Marc came and assessed the property and said he could do it, not only did he make good on getting it into the extremely tight area, but he went above and beyond the call of duty! Kevin Dunn is amazing at what he does, I am simply in shock at his precise skills and patience that it took to do the job that he did today not to mention he made it look easy! I cannot say enough good things about these 3 men. Marc with directing, Mr. Ford with the keen eyes and Kevin Dunn with the error- free meticulous driving expertise! We purchased our second RV from La Mesa RV in Davis the first week of November 2015. We made it very clear we were very disappointed in the service department. When you pay 150K for a motor home and have lots of problems you don't expect to wait 2 months to get into the service department and then a month to get it repaired. We decided we wanted a different floor plan and decided to buy a new motor home and were told the service department was under new management. The trade in value after owning our motor home for 18 months was ridiculous. So we decided to sell it ourself. This time we buy a 200K motor home with the floor plan we really liked in November 2015. They took it to get gas so we could test drive it and the person getting the gas damaged the back quarter of the coach before we even got to test drive it. Our sales person said, don't worry that is easy to fix. Delivery was promised two weeks later. We were then told, we know you will find a lot of issues. Just take delivery and bring it back to get all he issues fixed. Really? When I spend 200K I expect the company to deliver a brand new product without issues. I made it clear based on my previous experience with the service department I was not taking delivery until it was perfect. November delivery moved to December 15th. December 15th moved to Jan.15 th. Now we have no date when it might be ready for pick-up. Our sales person and the service manager keep telling us you wanted it perfect and we have many problems to fix. So, I should be happy they are fixing everything? Thank god they only have 5K of my money. I don't understand why Fleetwood would deliver a brand new product with so many issues? Or why La Mesa can't get a service department that can provide any form of customer service. I sold our other Motor home and tried to take it in for service before the new owners picked it up. I was told the first available slot was end of Jan. 2016 when I called in November. We took it else wear and got service in 1 week. Buyer beware. On the positive side. The sales process was great for us. When we missed our December planned vacation the manager agreed to reimburse us for missed vacation. If you need service which these coaches always do this is the last place you want to do business with. I wanted to provide an update. LaMesa stepped up to the plate. They finally gave up on the 2015 coach we purchased new and agreed to was a lemon and needed to be returned the the factory. They found us a 2016 coach same model number and sold it to us for the price of the 2015. Delivery of the new unit went well. The sales team was awesome. The only issue I still have is the quality from Fleetwood is not up to par. Too many issues with a brand new coach. That is not LaMesa's issue. Hopefully Fleetwood is working on their quality issues. read more

Bought our Mercedes/Winnebago Era from La Mesa 3 years ago, and have really enjoyed it on our trips. We bring it in every year for an annual check up prior to hitting the road. The first two years went really well, but this year we had some issues with sloppy work and a mess that was left. I was pretty upset and did not feel my issues were being addressed by the service rep, so I asked to speak to the Service Manager. Aaron Bonillo, the Service Manager was great. He listened to the issues and seemed genuinely concerned, and made sure that the issues were addressed. I probably would have rated this service as two stars for the initial work, but rate it as five stars because although it would be better to have everything perfect when we came to pick our RV up, I would rather go to a place that makes a mistake and then does above and beyond to make it right, then to go to a place with poor work, and an attitude that they could care less. If I could rate this place a zero I would. Run as fast as you can. March 31, 2014 we purchased a new 5th wheel for over $70M and requested a generator be installed prior to pick up. When we purchased the RV we were told it would take a week before we could pick it up. Two weeks later were were finally told the trailer is ready and arranged to have a walk through at 9am. I had taken three days off work so we could head directly to a camp ground and test everything. We loaded all our supplies for the trailer, loaded up our dogs and were ready to go, drove the hour to La Mesa only to find out the trailer was not ready and we could wait around (about 5 hours) or they guaranteed it would be ready the next day. Disappointed we headed back home. The next morning at 8am we received a call once again stating the trailer would be ready for pick up at 10:30, we loaded up again, drove the hour to La Mesa only to discover the RV still was not ready and they had to order another part. Really? I can't believe you can't get a brand new fifth wheel ready in two weeks! Needless to say we were mad, we are now out a tank of gas, short 3 vacation days we should be able to enjoy and out $54.00 for the RV park that we couldn't cancel. We decided that if La Mesa can't deliver a new 5th wheel how could we every get service done if we ran into a problem. Needless to say we requested the transaction be cancelled. After several loud, inappropriate words from Management who informed us we signed a contract and they would keep our down payment we cancelled anyways. In fairness to the dealership I did contact the Corporate Office, explained it was not my choice to cancel this transaction however their own dealership could not deliver. I was able to cancel the transaction with a full refund. Drive as fast as you can away from this place and head to RV Travel World of Sacramento. Poor customer service! There was one couple ahead of us when we walked in. A snobby sales rep asked if he could help us and I told him we were looking for a trailer today. He said those are all in the back and he went back in his office and shut the door. Another salesman said he would help us, but was helping the other couple first , which is fine, but that does not mean you can forget about us! Three other salesmen were in their office with the AC blowing and barely gave us a second look! When we were leaving, they all saw us but refused to help us at all! We are taking our money elsewhere! read more
