We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? Let me put it this way: We will not go anywhere else for all things RV.

It turned out exactly as we had planned and actually a little better than what we had hoped for. We knew it would be good based on other vans seen at the shop and what we had discussed in the planning phase but the attention to detail was over the top. Over the months of waiting/building, Scenic shared a Dropbox where they would load pictures as the build was being done. It was fun to see all the steps of our van being built and it helped us to know where we were in the timeline of the build. On pick up day, Emily took the time needed to walk us through the van to make sure we were comfortable with every part. Even with all of that, Scenic still sent us away with a folder of papers and an owners manual they had put together with the features of our specific van build and how to use each component. I'm convinced, there isn't another company that puts this much love and care into the customer and end product. Kevin, Emily and every team member we interacted with are specialist with a ton of experience as well as the desire to continue to grow and get better. it is obvious that the company strives for excellence and it shows in the end product. They went out of their way to explain any changes that needed to be made along the way and always made sure we didn't incur any extra cost because of a necessary change. We took the van out for the first time last weekend. Just an overnighter where we pulled out all the manuals to make sure everything worked and we understood the system. It couldn't have been any smoother. Everything worked perfectly, just as described. We couldn't be any happier with how the whole process went from start (open house tour) to finish!

Moises was outstanding to work with. I explained what I had and what I needed and he said no problem let me give you a quote. Quote was great so we scheduled the work. He called to confirm Friday about what time I would be arriving on Monday. After dropping it off he confirmed when it would be ready. The next afternoon it was done; ahead of schedule and on budget. Got up there to pick it up and the installation was perfect and the interior was clean and everything was in its place. El Monte, Cruise America, small local renters, and private parties thru Outdoorsy. Our experience with A Family Affair has by far been the best ever! Moses and his wife run a genuine mom and pop shop and have a great passion for their clients. They not only made the rental experience quick and easy, they were a joy to work with. We rented their almost new 2024 Entegra Odyssey 30Z class C. As a new rig, there were a few minor issues that came up. Moses was super helpful and got back to me via phone to help me thru the problems we did have. He was also nice enough to let me park my car in his yard while we were gone, and made the return check in process super easy. I wish I had discovered A Family Affair years ago. Rhonda put a lot of thought in what to have inside, she had cookware, dinnerware, utensils & all kinds of little things you might need. Extra lights, batteries & propane. You could seriously just show up with clothes & food and have pretty much everything. We used sleeping bags -unzipped & open, pillows & it was easier than any tent! We brought folding chairs & an extra cooler, making a campsite has never been simpler. The cabin was solar powered but had hookups for shore power ( we didn't even need it). Plenty of air with windows & a fan. Cabin lights were more than enough. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen area was efficient & had plenty of storage. The trailer was clean, in like new condition. We will be repeat clients for sure!!!
