We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? Let me put it this way: We will not go anywhere else for all things RV.

It turned out exactly as we had planned and actually a little better than what we had hoped for. We knew it would be good based on other vans seen at the shop and what we had discussed in the planning phase but the attention to detail was over the top. Over the months of waiting/building, Scenic shared a Dropbox where they would load pictures as the build was being done. It was fun to see all the steps of our van being built and it helped us to know where we were in the timeline of the build. On pick up day, Emily took the time needed to walk us through the van to make sure we were comfortable with every part. Even with all of that, Scenic still sent us away with a folder of papers and an owners manual they had put together with the features of our specific van build and how to use each component. I'm convinced, there isn't another company that puts this much love and care into the customer and end product. Kevin, Emily and every team member we interacted with are specialist with a ton of experience as well as the desire to continue to grow and get better. it is obvious that the company strives for excellence and it shows in the end product. They went out of their way to explain any changes that needed to be made along the way and always made sure we didn't incur any extra cost because of a necessary change. We took the van out for the first time last weekend. Just an overnighter where we pulled out all the manuals to make sure everything worked and we understood the system. It couldn't have been any smoother. Everything worked perfectly, just as described. We couldn't be any happier with how the whole process went from start (open house tour) to finish!

He called to confirm Friday about what time I would be arriving on Monday. After dropping it off he confirmed when it would be ready. The next afternoon it was done; ahead of schedule and on budget. Got up there to pick it up and the installation was perfect and the interior was clean and everything was in its place. El Monte, Cruise America, small local renters, and private parties thru Outdoorsy. Our experience with A Family Affair has by far been the best ever! Moses and his wife run a genuine mom and pop shop and have a great passion for their clients. They not only made the rental experience quick and easy, they were a joy to work with. We rented their almost new 2024 Entegra Odyssey 30Z class C. As a new rig, there were a few minor issues that came up. Moses was super helpful and got back to me via phone to help me thru the problems we did have. He was also nice enough to let me park my car in his yard while we were gone, and made the return check in process super easy. I wish I had discovered A Family Affair years ago. My last several experiences with RV Travel World have been extremely disappointing…read more I've been bringing my trailer in for service under their Forever Warranty ever since I purchased it years ago. However, as the trailer has gotten older, it seems like they are constantly looking for reasons not to cover repairs, even when the warranty documentation appears to indicate the issue should be covered. The entire program has become frustrating and feels misleading. I've also had issues with pricing. On one occasion, I called ahead and was quoted a price for work. When I arrived at the store, the price was significantly higher. I had to argue with staff and remind them of the amount I was quoted over the phone before they would honor it. Communication has been another major problem. Multiple times I was told my trailer was ready for pickup, only to drive all the way there and discover it wasn't actually ready. That's a huge inconvenience and shows a lack of respect for customers' time. After dealing with these issues repeatedly, I can no longer recommend RV Travel World. The Forever Warranty program has not lived up to its promises in my experience, and the poor communication and inconsistent service have made doing business there far more difficult than it should be.
