We've now used Elijah RVs 3 years in a row for Burning Man and they've been great to work with! One of the reasons why we choose to prep in Sacremento is because of Elijah RVs. Their rental extras are great (bike rack, tables). Great customer service. They allow us to drop off the RV on Labor Day while other companies are closed. Their new location is great and conveniently located near a propane refill station. They've also refunded our cleaning deposit for doing the interior cleaning on our own. Although we didn't actually follow through with our rental, I feel compelled to give a five star rating from our experience with Elijah RVs. Staff were always prompt with communication throughout the inquiry and sign-up. Additionally, the electronic contract process is seamless and policies are clear. Today was the day we planned on setting out on our family trip; however, unfortunate events led us to cancel. Elijah RV's response to our news was sincere and surprising. Surprising because although the contract clearly states we would lose our $500 deposit, management informed us that they would be refunding it. We didn't even ask. We had a great experience renting from Eli! We rented a 29' RV last minute. We were able to sleep 4 kids and 2 adults very comfortably. We never had to replenish the water or generator for the entire weekend. The RV was clean and ready to go when we came for pick up. Eli keeps everything very simple for the customers and it was very affordable. Eli is a young guy with great customer service skills!! The only drawback is the location to pick up the RV. There are a lot of businesses in the lot so it gets a little confusing but overall not a big deal. Renting the RV was such a great experience for our family! We rented the freelander (2016 model) and leperchaun (2014 model) for 11 days. The units were clean and performed well. We were supposed to get the new units that Eli ordered but there was a factory delay. Eli apologized and gave us free stuff (shirts, caps and free cleaning) amazing customer service! To top it off, we were supposed to return on monday but we came back a day early on sunday and he accomodated our request for a sunday return....again amazing customer service. The place is shared with a trucking business and payment is cash or bank transfer which was a bit inconvenient compared to credit card but it was ok with me. It was an absolute pleasure conducting business with Eli. We were in a hurry to get to a festival up in Oregon to see the Solar Eclipse and Elijah did everything he could to expedite the checking in process. We rented the 29ft chateau RV for 8 days which easily and comfortably slept 7 of us. It's an interesting operation they have here. I pulled in not knowing where the business was exactly because they share a building with no identification. But thankfully the confusion ended there. Eli helped me out. A true salesman working hard for your business. He gave us a great rate for a trip up to Washington and back and called to check in to see how the trip was going. I was able to call them on short notice for an RV for burning man and not only did they help me with no hassle, they made it the easiest part of our trip, and tossed in a few bikes as well. This place has everything you need RV wise from new to old, short to long, and they do it all with a smile and care. My only regret is not having the rest of my camp use them as their prices beat just about any other RV rental company that allows you to go to burning man. renter beware! eli or elijah operates (unlicensed) within the unincorporated are of sacramento county. our company rented from elijah solivan (spelling may be off) and in summary, not only were the units in poor condition, but two of them had mechanical issues and leaving us stranded on highway. we had to pay expensive towing bills, elijah refused to refund the money as promised even as we did not get one full day use out of 7 prepaid days. also, take note the elijahs rv's, is located at 8725 fruitridge road , sacramento - the same location where rvs trucking (his fathers / family company - also imporperly licensed with couny) is located. if you do a court records check, you will find the following: - rvs and elijahs rvs have a long history of small claims and civil law suits. per court docs, not only was it found out that the companys belong to other members of family adn or the dads business registered to his wife (who on the state records show his wife's name ; ***though spelled slightly different adding one letter to the end courts records show they defaulted and failed to pay cour t ordered ldamages in several cases, one over $7000.00; where they failed to pay contractor (see sac co court website for ifo) read more

Still no refund. They have sent me a refund statement but haven't actually refunded my money. There were quite a few things broken on the RV when we got it. We were unable to drain and use the septic tank the whole 10 days and the generator was broken for two days until we figured out that they didn't have oil in it. These things were simple things that should have been checked before we rented from them. I simply asked to be refunded for two nights. It seems fair since we couldn't use restroom and smelled the tank the whole trip and in the Midwest with no AC for two days. Their response was that it was all in working condition when we left and we must have broken them. Use caution when renting from Elijah RV. Emailed again today and I will keep you posted. read more

The rental process was super easy, I was able to get my questions answered through email or phone call. We were super excited for our trip, but 4 days before we were supposed to pick up the RV and head out of town, a family member got sick and we had to cancel the trip. We just returned from our trip and had a breathtaking experience. The RV was clean, sanitized, and had no odor. This company had the best customer service. It is very simple to reserve an RV with ''elijahRVs''. The motor home we were issued was just awesome!!!!! It was large and spacious with all the modern conveniences!!!!!!!!!! It could sleep 6 people comfortably. When me and my husband were picking up the RV, we could tell that it had a RV wash. The RV was shining like a diamond and was polished very well. There was a private bathroom, shower, and wash basin. Cute kitchenette with double sink, propane stove, and oven. A microwave, small refrigerator and freezer. A touch screen radio or CD player. There was also a hook up for TV with TV inside. Water heater, air conditioning or heating thermostat controls are all in one easy, accessible, and dependable locations. We could even use our slide out system to expand our RV and make our dining room bigger. This vehicle was self contained! You could have the lights and appliances on even when the engine wasn't running which would use about a gallon of gas per hour. Afterwards, when you arrive from your trip the RV needs to be in good condition and you have to pay for the cleaning. The ride was extremely comfortable and even our fragile cargo survived, through a stretch of bumpy road. I can't say much on how fun it was to use this RV. So it was very reasonable for the price of this luxury! read more

Saw very +ve reviews on yelp and decided to rent from them Asked for availability and rate for a small RV. They responded within hours with a quotation indicating an RV was available and the rate was certainly among the best in the area. That was Friday afternoon. From Saturday morning to Monday morning I kept trying to get in touch with them through email and phone indicating I am ready to pay the deposit. No one picked up the phone or answered emails. Since this reservation was for a very popular weekend (Solar Eclipse in Oregon) I could not risk waiting for them indefinitely to respond. I had to make other arrangements. So on Monday morning I emailed and indicated that I will assume they have nothing available and the quote was a joke and moved on. I said I will post my review online. Within hours I got an email response first apologizing for lack of communication, and that the RV was no longer available and finally and most notably threatening me with legal action if my review affected their business adversely. They apparently have some very satisfied customers as the other review indicate. In my case, they messed up big time. Instead of trying to solve the issue to both party's satisfaction (a different RV or simply own up that quote was sent in error) they opted for the worst option by threatening with legal action. And they get zero stars for that. I await their legal action. I am pretty sure Yelp's legal department is much bigger than their legal department. read more

Rented a 28' Class C motorhome for a family Yosemite vacation. Everything went according to plan, and had a great overall experience. Their RVs are a little older than the other mainstream companies, but still reasonable, and everything worked - our generator was a little "cranky - pun intended - but it worked most of the time. At least, their rental rates are consistent with the fleet's age. Their setup is a little interesting in the sense that when you arrive at the location, it does not say Elijah RVs. It is a trucking business, and added to the fact that everything must be handled in cash, I was a bit skeptical at first. In the end, I got a great rate when compared to places like Cruise America, etc, and got all my deposit back in cash (we take pride in returning our rental vehicles cleaner than we found them, especially when we have $1000 in cash as a security deposit! lol). After a very last minute decision to get an RV, and searching only a week for a reasonable price, I came across ElijahsRVs online. After reading reviews, I was convinced this was the best choice for us. Eli is very thorough in explaining everything you need to know, and for a first time RV renter, my husband and I were very happy and comfortable with the RV. Rented a 30' Four Winds for 10 day trip to Yellowstone. Ran into trouble the first night and got stuck in Truckee. Elijah drove up a replacement RV that night, helped transfer our gear over and refunded a day's rental. Super apologetic and was quick to respond. After that initial misstep everything went well with the new rig. Upon return, Elijah still apologetic about the breakdown and continued to waive fees, extra mileage etc. Top customer service, best rental rates I could find in my area. Only tip I would offer to anyone renting from Elijah is to either prepare to bring all your supplies (kitchen, bedding, bathroom, etc) as nothing is included or ask about renting these additional items (Elijah has limited supplies, so you will need to reserve in advance if doing so).
