The restaurant was open until 9pm. We arrived about 15 mins before they were closing. We asked if we could place an order to go and the guest representative at the front counter was friendly and accommodating. One of the individuals, who was working in the kitchen, was not as friendly toward the idea. That person made it obvious that they were not really in favor of taking an order at that time. This despite that we ordered off the menu of available items (already made and not requiring kitchen service). The location was clean and our food was quickly assembled and we left and ate at our hotel, We are fans of La Madeline and they met our expectations in every way - even if the one person did have a bit of a bad attitude. Kudos to the rest of the team for keeping on going with great customer service - and I hope the kitchen attendant was just having an off day and they will be better tomorrow!

Very disappointed with the quality of food at LaMadeline Grapevine, Tx today. The bread was stale and we got 3 slices for 2 people. I was not impressed with the chicken lamadeline. Broccoli was cold and flavorless. Did not care for the rice it came with. I did not like the flavor of the mushroom sauce on the chicken. The ham and cheese sandwich was not very good. Bread was cooked so hard you'd have to have beaver teeth to cut through it. LaMadeline used to be so delicious. Lately their quality has really suffered. We will try again another day. Maybe it's just a bad day for the chef. The mango and sweet teas were really good. The strawberry rhubarb spread was great. I considered a chocolate eclair and even those did not look appetizing. Establishment was clean, silver ware and glasses were clean. Restroom was clean. You can see the attached photo how much food was left on the table and for a tab that was $34 I just expected quality food/experience.

Great service tonight. This is a favorite for my mom and I. They didn't have the fire on probably due to warmer weather but quickly got it on when we requested. Food was wonderful. Love coming here! The fire is my favorite. Don't understand all the bad reviews.

I've never wished for a 0 star option for a rating until today. La Madeline is nothing like it was. This place was dirty, food poor quality and service was lacking any type of personality or welcoming nature. I took two bites of the chicken friand and knew I was going to be sick and now I am. Food has no flavor and tasted left out and old. Such a disappointment. Will tell all the Yelp folks to skip this one!

Usual shit from this company. " Bonjour" sorry to hear about your experience, yadda yadda Go to the website fill in the form then never hear anything back. Twice they've done this to me. Clearly this company doesn't give a shit about their customer service or the state of their restaurants. Shove your " Bonjour" where the sun doesn't shine

Almond croissant warmed up. So tasty I took a bite before taking a picture.

My sister and I dropped by for dessert and warm drinks. I love their almond croissant and my sister had their coconut cake. It sure tasted good warmed up. So yummy. Great service and friendly staff.

So sad, old food, dirty restaurant. You can do better than this!

Food is good, but restaurant is looking a little shabby and run down. Could use some perking up. Needs some TLC and paint.

Generous spread of avocado on just right textured brown bread-not too thick or thin-or soggy-could handle the toppings.the bacon was crispy and crumbled over the avocado. The eggs-medium-perfect!!! It was served with a small arugula and cherry tomato salad!! YUM!! One friend had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were not as tasty as she expected. We walked in, made our choices, and were back out in just a few minutes. The selection isn't huge, but that's exactly the point. Instead of seeing 20 different croissants, you see 20 completely different creations. Each dessert has its own personality. This isn't the kind of place where you rush through everything in one sitting. Every bite has different textures, layers, fillings, and fresh fruit that make you slow down and appreciate the craftsmanship. The attention to detail is incredible. One dessert looked just like an apple--even the core was different from the outer "apple," and the tiny stem was made from dark chocolate. It's those little details that make the experience memorable. We walked out in under three minutes and spent just under $70. Was it expensive? Sure. But it felt worth it. You leave with an appreciation for the artistry, incredible flavors, and an aftertaste that makes you glad you treated yourself.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The location in Southlake is the smallest location that I've been to. While there's no merch, there is still the intoxicating smell of freshly baked cookies along with several cookies behind the glass case. It's simple, but that's ok with me. 1 Star. Service - The staff is super nice. I came (back) for Yelp Week (thanks again, Kendall) because it was an excuse for me to get more cookies. The staff offered to share their story, but I politely asked for the flavors of the month. They even packaged up the cookies in the beautiful Tiffany Blue boxes for me. 1 Star. Food - Full Disclosure, Cookie Society cookies are my favorite in all of DFW, so this review may be biased. Each cookie is perfectly baked where they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. If you choose one a flavor is something inside, it's soft and gooey. Cookie Society will rotate flavors each month, but they keep several staples on hand all the time (chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, etc.). It's a great excuse to return. Horchata Snickerdoodle was one of the rotating flavors as of this writing. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I drove all the way to Frisco when Cookie Society opened. When the Addison location opened, I jumped for join b/c it was close to home. Now there's a Southlake location for my family. Can't wait go come back. 1 Star.
