Before COVID 19 this bakery was starting to fall apart. It has great curb appeal and nicely decorated interior. However the front staff has no training what so ever. They don't care who arrives first nor how long you wait to be attended. Well this hasn't changed at all. Today 10/04/2020 I was let down again. All they care about is continued gossip between each other. Don't even acknowledge you until you say something. With only 3 customers inside and 3 service ladies I had to interrupt them and ask for service. I was so disgusted i walked out after I ordered my food and saw 10 minutes had passed and lady never served me my breakfast. So I Just got up and left. I will NEVER stop here again in my life. They've lost my business for ever. Their croquetas and pastelitos are what you will typically find in Miami, but definitely one of the better places I've ordered from. They also have your traditional sandwiches- pan con bistec, cuban sandwich, media noche, etc. I loved my croqueta preparada with 2 croquetas, ham, swiss, lettuce, and tomato on cuban bread. Yum! They also have tons of pastries, cakes, cupcakes, and macarons to choose from. Their dessert case is super impressive. They also do delivery and catering, and their staff is super friendly. Years ago service used to be better-if you're a regular it seems you'll get the better help-I came in today & sat for a long time-I asked for assistance a few times & I got a be right back or I'm on the register response - a couple came in later & they got assistance right away right in front of me while I still was waiting for acknowledgement. Whoever runs their Instagram does an amazing job. I made it a point to visit them when I was in Miami, and they didn't disappoint. They have all kinds of pastries, to include both traditional Cuban desserts and typical bakery fare. They make an amazing Cuban cafe con leche. Make sure to try a guava paatellito, basically puff pastry with guava. read more

We did not eat the food here because this is a bakery (duh). The dulce de leche ganache dessert was very good except for the thin layer of cake at the bottom which was a little tough. The espresso coffee was great and everything was cheap. read more

This place is like a hit or miss. If you eat in, it might be much better than if you order delivery - I've never ate inside the actual restaurant (I ordered through Uber eats). on my recent order, the food took soooo long that it tasted cold and disgusting - the problem i have with that is that I live BEHIND the restaurant. So I'm not sure who to blame for the length of delivery time, wether Uber eats or them... BUT the egg whites I had were watery and had a piece of french fry inside them ... gross, random and left me wanting to puke.... On my previous (first) attempt to order from here (again because they are literally located behind my home) they sent me the wrong food all together.. This place is great. Hubby and I had a conference in Miami. Stopped here on Saturday before our conference. The waitresses were all very friendly and helped us understand their Spanish menu. I ordered a bowl with grilled chicken, black beans, maduros, lettuce and tomatoes and a watermelon juice per their UberEATS menu. First off they didn't have watermelon juice so I had to go with something else because I had already paid for my order and was too late to cancel. My bowl had no beans, only bean water. Instead of simply lettuce and tomatoes they threw in some premade salad with its dressing and croutons into my bowl. The chicken was not grilled chicken and the maduros we're definitely of the frozen kind and tasted raw. They should probably stick to pastries and croquetas. First and last time ordering from here. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich to go. I was starving so I ate the first half of the sandwich very rapidly. However, once I reached the second half I slowed down and noticed my chicken was chewy. It was raw inside the meat! I threw the other half away and I had to return to work, I planned to call the owner after work but I got so sick I was rushed to the emergency room where I almost passed out from dehydration due to the food poising symptoms.. I called the next day and told the manager about it and her comment "why didn't you call yesterday?" I WAS INSTANTLY SICK AS A DOG. Very disappointed to have paid $9 for just a sandwich and no fries, and have the sandwich be raw inside. I asked my coworkers about it and they tell me that place is hit or miss. They've been served food that wasn't fully cooked before which is why they don't return. Wish I knew before. The server was a very pleasant girl but I can't return after how sick I got. My hospital bill is probably through the roof! **Also don't be convinced by those photos of delicious chicken bowls. They don't have any of those toppings that are in picture. Let me start off my saying that I've been coming to Gran Paris since I was a little girl (I'm 23 at the moment) and I've never had any complaints since the staff is usually attentive and fast, no matter what time of day it maybe. Having said that, the last couple of times visiting has been a mess. Let's just say you can tell when the owner is or isn't there. My experience today was the following: There's like 15 girls and all they do is stand around a gossip the whole time. I had 4 girls pass by me and didn't even ask me if I had been helped. Afterward Yaines (I'm not sure I spelled her name correctly) who has been attending the person in front of me came up and told me to give her one second and she would be right with me. There's no reason for her to be the only person attending people while the rest are just standing around gossiping with the cook. I know it's not my place, but someone needs to manage those girls better when the owner is not around. Because the lack of service goes down hill and it's very telling. read more

This place is amazing. The croquettes are to die for, you can never just have one! The cakes are always baked and decorated to perfection. I don't know how I never tried this place before. It's amazing!!! I have an obsession with bakeries, whenever I see one I have to stop. Thank god that I stopped by Gran Paris, the service and the food was amazing. I had a last minute request that I needed to fulfill and I was short on cash. They allowed me to place a deposit which bakeries now a days don't allow, however they did as a one time goodwill gesture. I am glad they did because they saved my work event which might not have had food if it wasn't for them. I have a gran Paris a few blocks by my house but I hate going there they are outrageously expensive for a pan con bistec 7.95 when other places is around 2 dollars less and you get there there 6 girls working and it takes forever for them to acknowledge that u are there . And u place an order on the phone it should be fast and u still have to wait forever . Instead of having numbers to call by number they don't I feel that is very disorganized . And the pan con bistec was not fresh it look like they had it there sitting down if u ask for a pan con bistec make it fresh keep doing g what u do that u loose customers like that read more
