I'd say transphobic staff. They have a guy standing outside the bathrooms monitoring entry into every bathroom didn't let my trans partner go into the men's restroom. He is male presenting literally only indication is that he doesn't have top surgery so it's weird that guy cared so much. I heard him say something about him not being born a man which is really weird and made everyone uncomfortable. If there's already someone there monitoring the entry to every bathroom and can be sure not more than two people go in at a time, I don't see why it would even matter. I don't understand that policy or why the guy was so pressed about that. I asked him why my partner can't use the bathroom and he puffed his chest and pointed to the door and literally yelled "if you don't like it you can leave, I'll kick you out". I just moved to Reno so I've been looking for a cool gay friendly bar to go to and I have been told by locals this place is not it. I see why.

They have karaoke on Friday nights and the best part is you actually get a turn to sing unlike West 2nd Street Bar. West 2nd Street Bar is always crawling with drunk 21 year olds screaming at the top of their lungs, and you almost have to bribe the DJ $20 to just be able to sing within the hour. I like the Library so much better because of this reason. The drink prices are not bad either. I love me a good Moscow Mule and the bartender makes them right. The hookah is not bad priced as well. Only $20 and it lasts us for about an hour and half and they are very attentive in making sure its not harsh and the coals are being turned. Overall, a great dive bar for playing pool, testing your voice at karaoke or just wanting to chill to have a drink and play pool. I recommend this place to anyone over 25 looking for great bar spot!

Be advised that the address provided didn't take us directly to the establishment. It simply took us to the Meadowood Mall where we then had to drive around in the pitch dark in hopes of locating this spot. Unfortunately for us, we basically had to go around the entire mall which made me think this place didn't even exist. Perseverance eventually won and we ended up at Round1's entrance. This large indoor entertainment center offers arcade games, bowling, karaoke, billiards, and darts. It comes equipped with small bites, more filling meals, and a full service bar. We walk past all of the bright, flashy claw machines, and headed straight for the bar. We get in line and sign up for 1 of the 2 party rooms this establishment has for karaoke. Rental is done by the hour and depending on the usage time and the amount of people taking part will determine the hourly charge. Izzy was the staffer who assisted in our transaction and was so very sweet. She was attentive and very personable. 4 stars instead of the 5 because our party's reservation for karaoke was forgotten. We were provided a 20 min wait so the staff could clean and wipe down the room but the notification never came. We sat around enjoying our drinks as time passed by and eventually got up and asked the staff what was going on. The night ended up pretty amazingly regardless of this hiccup and the food was sooooooo damn good- maybe it was the drunken-ness that helped but I recall it being so damn delicious. I know our party would be back in a heartbeat.
