Cypress Reno is where it's at for LIVE music in midtown!! The vibe, atmosphere and venue are PERFECT for every show that we have come to see!! Standing room ONLY and large enough area with everyone in attendance that enjoys the show without feeling like you are crammed in and still move around. Bathrooms are always clean, staff is friendly and helpful, lots of craft drinks, beers and H2O on the counter too. Even an outside area to cool down, chill and have a convo with your date or friends before you hop back inside for the show. Check out the upcoming shows on Cypress Reno website, grab tickets at the door or subscribe to the email list to keep up with their lineup of awesome shows! ENJOY!

Best music venue in Reno! The sound is amazing and the vibe is chill. Also, I like not waiting for drinks. Last time I was there I tried the food and those wings are fire! The staff is friendly too.

I came here for the first Reno Hair Show. It was a great event. This bar is not too big and not too small. I want to come back to catch the vibe of this place on a regular night. What I did notice though is they have a stage and dance floor. I really like a place where you can have music and you have space to move around. This place is in midtown. I didn't see parking so I just parked at the meters. I look forward to coming back.

"There's nothing better than live music. It's raw energy, and raw energy fills the soul!" Dhani Jones You could settle for basic, but then your not living. Reno has one of the best underground music scenes. So many artists here are trying to make it to the stage. Come on out and see whats playing. Your locals are here and want to play their hearts to you. Feel the ruthlessness of an epic guitar solo that goes on for hours. Let the joy from the stage spill over to you. The beat of the drum mirrors your heart beat. Thump thump you tap in its rhythm. While this is the greatest of greatest dive bars in the little city with in a city you get all their love. Band after band sings and presents their array of talent to you. Watch, dance, and tap your foot. As normal this is a bar, so drinks and non alcoholic alchemy flows from the bar behind the bar as per your needs. The main reason to come here is for the talent that's playing up on stage. A major act that writes and plays their own instruments their own way is the local blues artist and band, John Courage. This righteous guitar player belts out tunes such as; "The Valley," "Lone Wolf," and "The Poet." The tunes go for hours and hours. Oh that was just one song. Come out and see what you have been missing. During our stay in Vegas we attended a special event to establish the special guest spot for a local band at the Reno festival "Battle Ax and Tracks," at NOVI. The after party was held here at the Cypress. It's a short skip from the downtown area. They want to play for you! Now that the pandemic is in the rear, bands are coming back out. Here in Reno it's starting to get cold at night, but come inside and ignite your passion with the joys coming from the stage. It's time for some more live music. Moments of greatness are happening right now. What were you gonna do tonight? See you soon!

Cypress continues to be one of my favorite local venues for live music and that's because the sound is amazing. The sound tech knows what they're doing, so please keep up the great work! The bathroom is well kept and stocked and is handicapped accessible. Heads up, there is no food here.

We came here for a show and it was our first time visiting! It was a really nice venue for the size of the audience. They have a good selection of beers on top and canned beverages as well. The drinks were reasonably priced. There was no reentry at this show, but they do have a patio in back, which was nice. We'd definitely come back here for a show or to grab drinks again!

Found out recently The Saint went under during the pandemic... but looks like Cypress Lounge (or Cypress Reno?) replaced them at the same venue. Fun midtown spot with live music as well as dancing midweek -- I came on the latin dance Thursdays thrown together by Gerzon and it's been a blast! :) There's a lesson 830-930, then a dance social party till midnight-ish. Friendly and fun dancers, music distribution is 4 salsas : 4 bachatas : 1 merengue : 1 cumbia/wildcard song, so it's a little bit of something for everyone. Buy a drink and support the venue! And support yer local salsa/bachata scene too! :)

Highly recommend this place when your favorite artist is playing. The sound is great! The dance floor is big. The bar has a wide variety. I come hete often. Bathrooms are very clean. Also has an outside smoking area that's really nice.

I came here to see the Moon Muses show. They have a nice stage area and table seating and a large bar. I was able to get a drink and a front row seat and enjoy the show. It's a great little venue.

The schedule says Tuesday line dancin. We showed up and they were closed.

Shoutout to our main waiter Bryce! He was solid! He was extremely attentive and made it his mission to check up on us every few minutes and after we received our appetizers, entrees, and desserts. 10/10 service. We ordered 2 cokes, the crab cake, a bone marrow and a beef carpaccio to start, two beef wellingtons, the broccolini, and two sticky toffee puddings. Everything was delicious. The crab cake was dense and full of crab. Paired with their citrus aioli, it was chefs kiss. The beef carpaccio was amazing. The beef was tender and was topped with an egg yolk sauce that really brought the savoriness to the beef. The bone marrow was thick, well seasoned, and melt in your mouth delicious. The beef wellingtons were med rare and juicy. The root veggies were tender but not soft. The potato puree was smooth and creamy and the Demi glaze was the icing on the cake. It brought everything together. When we got our sticky toffee puddings, we thought they were a bit small but we were pretty full by that point anyways so we didn't mind. Just as we were finishing them, Bryce brought over two massive ones and an apology. Apparently there was a mix up and the ones we ate were for the tasting menu. So we ended up taking the big ones to go which was great because that meant dessert for later. Overall, the meal was superb, the atmosphere was lovely, the service was impeccable, the staff were friendly, and the vibes were solid. 10/10 would recommend. P. S. I think it was 100% better than the GR at the Paris in Las Vegas.

The riverside setting made for a relaxing atmosphere and was a great place to spend a summer afternoon. We started with the Crab & Salmon Cakes, and they were outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and each cake had a perfectly crisp exterior while remaining delicate inside. You could clearly taste both the crab and salmon, and the slightly spicy aioli complemented them perfectly without overpowering the seafood. For cocktails, I ordered the Tequila Mockingbird, and it was excellent. The mezcal's smoky flavor came through clearly, almost reminding me of a good Scotch, yet it had just enough sweetness to keep it balanced. If you enjoy spirit-forward cocktails that aren't overly sweet, I'd highly recommend it. My wife ordered the Razz Jazz and later the Rosé All Day. She loved the Razz Jazz, describing it as refreshing, lightly sweet, and lemony, with enough alcohol flavor to remind you it's a cocktail without being overpowering. The Rosé All Day was another refreshing choice and perfect for a warm afternoon on the patio. For lunch, we ordered the French Dip and the Tri-Tip Sandwich. The French Dip was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rich au jus. The Tri-Tip Sandwich was loaded with smoky, well-seasoned beef on fresh bread. It was a bit richer than I personally prefer, but the quality of the meat was undeniable. The fries were a standout in their own right, perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. Wild River Grille isn't the least expensive lunch in town, but the quality of the food, expertly crafted cocktails, attentive service, and beautiful riverside patio made it feel well worth the price. We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, we were stuck back in the rear corner of the building on this visit. The vibes back there are not nearly as nice as the up-front dining. Service was still good even though we were out of view of the main dining area. We started with the cauliflower appetizer. Very well cooked, perfectly tender, and the Calabrian chili oil was perfect for adding some spice. We then ordered entrees, which included the duck duo and a Caesar salad. The Caesar is nothing to write home about. It's fresh and from scratch, but it's just a Caesar. The duck duo came with both duck confit and duck breast. The duck confit was unreal. So tender and so flavorful. The duck breast was a bit tough for my liking, but I really enjoyed the sauce they used on the dish. Most of all, I was shocked by how good the dessert was. We ordered the cast-iron chocolate cake, and it was unbelievable. The sauce that bubbles away in the hot cast iron was spooned onto the rich cake and topped with vanilla ice cream. Nothing better! I miss the old Liberty that used to offer daily specials and killer deals on pasta and pizza, but the new Liberty ain't so bad. We ordered the Imperial Japanese Chicken Wings, the Frenchified Burger, and an order of poutine. The star of the meal was the chicken wings with the wasabi ranch dipping sauce. The seasoned shoestring fries served alongside were also excellent. The burger was very good, but it was essentially meat, sauce, and cheese. I like a little freshness on my burgers, so I was missing some lettuce and tomato. Fortunately, I substituted a salad for the fries and ended up piling most of it onto the burger. Next time, I'll just ask for those toppings to be added. The poutine, however, didn't quite live up to the versions I've had elsewhere. I'm not sure if they used white cheddar curds, but they were almost completely melted instead of retaining that signature squeaky texture. The gravy was just okay, and I don't think shoestring fries are the best choice for poutine since they don't hold up as well under the toppings. Overall, I'd definitely come back--especially for the wings and another burger.

Zach greeted us as soon as we walked in, seated us quickly, and took the time to explain the menu and answer our questions. His friendly personality and knowledge made us feel right at home. I had a tough time deciding between the Homegrown Burger and the Alaskan Salmon, but I went with the burger. It was cooked exactly how I requested, juicy, flavorful, and easily one of the better burgers I've had in Reno. I'd give it a 9.2/10. My wife ordered the macaroni and cheese. She thought the flavor was delicious, but the sauce was a little thinner than she prefers, so she gave it a 6/10. Even so, she still finished the entire plate, which says a lot about how good it tasted. For dessert, we shared the apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. It wasn't overly sweet. The warm cobbler paired perfectly with the cold, creamy ice cream. To top it all off, Zuck even gave us a mini tour of the restaurant, which made the experience feel even more personal.
