The Inciters - 11 piece souldband with groovy retro 70's flight attendant costumes!
    Deb A.

Pro's: The ONLY venue in Reno with live music 7 days a week. Con's: Pillars seem to be just in the wrong place for viewing the band. Bandstand could be larger to accommodate this group, at least. Go back?: Regularly More... Check out this band "The Inciters". Quite excellent and I love their groovy retro 70's flight attendant costumes. Video upload capped at 30 seconds so could not share, but they were great! Drinks are pricey here so don't forget your local Reno players/discount card for 20% off!

sat down at one of the booth seatings on the sides, no service because no one came by to greet or take orders. went up to bar to order our own cocktails. drinks were good and well made. whiskey cocktail was stiff. nice purple lighting, fancy for nightlife. classy date spot live band /singing that night

Great music! Fun atmosphere and a generous pour. I highly recommend the terrace lounge.

If you're looking for live music, perfect lighting, large selections of bourbon and whiskeys and great staff you need to swing by. I had the witching hour created by our lovely server Lilia! It was made with widow Jane paradigm rye whiskey, with an house-made brown sugar and toasted pecans, paired perfectly with the pecan praline. It was smooth strong with a slight undertone of sweetness. Definitely will be returning again

First time at Terrace Lounge. I did like the open area and decorations of the place. We took a seat and the waitress came over pretty quickly since it was a weekday night. Live music was playing which was nice and added to the ambiance. We had a 2-for-1 cocktail coupon so we used that on a Dunkin' Fall cocktail and Yuzu Pineapple Paloma mocktail. I enjoyed my mocktail and the Dunkin' was strong. The drinks were expensive, but it's the casino. There were two times that we saw people smoking in the area - one person even brought their ashtray (?). I didn't like how the non-smoking area wasn't enforced. I'm not sure if the staff saw them or not but they were still there by the time we left.

Always passed by but never stopped in. Waiting around and decided to pop in. Beautiful and crowded.... Most of the seats are taken.. I'll be back again.. lol!

We visit Reno often and ALWAYS stay at the Peppermill. This bar was never one that "blew my skirt up" until yesterday. We had just arrived from a 7 Hour Drive and we were ready to relax and unwind. Devin is a newer bartender, and really made the experience something that begs you to return for more. He has such an amazing attitude, personality, and outgoing vibe that you just can't help but sit there and continue to visit and gamble and drink! He makes amazing drinks and serves them with class, for someone his age I find that very impressive. Way to go Peppermill for hiring such an enthusiastic young bartender to bring a little bit of life to a bar we always thought was just a little bit dull.

Terrace Lounge is by far my favorite bar in the Peppermill! The gorgeous setting offers circular bar with a decorative floral light arrangement hanging from the ceiling, I mean check out the photos! What sets this bar apart is that you're upstairs, no smoking, and they typically have live music playing. If you want to sit at the bar you can play video poker or if you want to sit in the cozy chairs you can get away from it all and relax. Great taps with local beers and some of the best manhattans and old fashioneds I've had!

Peppermill should seriously consider making this lounge nonsmoking. The cancer suckers already have the entire gaming floor for their stink sticks, how about giving us airbreathers a nice place to chill with the music? Drinks and cocktails are good. As of last week, the Whiskey menu was out of date and prices are not what you'll get on your bill. Also I'd rather get weekly emails from PMill about the bands performing this month instead of lame slot tourneys. The sound quality, musical talent, and variety of scotches are the anchors holding a fourth star here instead of a mediocre 3.

Incredible bourbon library. Several Pappy's. Incredible list. Simply incredible. Friendly staff. Comfy chairs.

We visited here twice during a weekend trip to Reno. Nice lounge with really good service. They had a band both nights. Great vibes, we will definitely go back next time we are in town.

Beautiful spacious lounge! Lots of private seating and variety of bar seating, lounge and hi-table seats. Massive selection of cocktails and nice selection of seasonal specialty cocktails. Service staff was prompt and attentive.

Ask for Kagen, one of the bartenders. He can concoct something great for you. He created the pineapple Buzz. The are now open- June 10- and social distancing is in force. New chairs, new couches, new carpet. Bands not yet playing but still a great place for a beverage. I recommend 4 Roses Bourbon, very pleasant.

We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Saturday. The joint was nearly empty aside from a couple at the bar. Plenty of seating for our large group in the large, comfy couches. They also have cool built-in seating around the perimeter of the bar, though not nearly as comfortable as the vintage furniture. The menu is sorted by glass type. A fun and unique way to sort cocktails. They also have a selection of beer on draft and wine. The drinks can also be made into mocktails- a win for our group since we had a few non-drinkers. The 1859 mocktail was great. Perfectly sweet with a small hit of miso flavor from the miso honey. Probably even better and more balanced with the whiskey! Others in my group enjoyed working their way through the many light, dark, and sour beers on tap. 1864 offers a classic, relaxed atmosphere and a great place to get a cocktail. The prices are reasonable, too. Definitely worth the visit.

The night was lit). The lounge is inside Silver Legacy, so if you can park in the parking structure and walk up to the 3rd floor, that's where the walkway into the casino and Aura is! Find the place near all the dealers tables are and the lounge is off to the side. We came here around 10pm and stayed until a little past midnight (we've become grandmas, some of us had work the next day, applause to the older crowd that stayed hours after we left). There wasn't a cover tonight and the line wasn't very long around 10. Got a moscow mule at the bar which didn't taste half bad, and the bartending service was not bad (granted it's still pretty early so it wasn't crowded and there wasn't a wait). Layout of the place: the dance floor is in the middle (there's also a smoke machine that occasionally bellows out a smoke cloud every 5-10 mins), and then there's booths/couch seating around the edges. If you come early, it does kind of feel weird to be on the dance floor (especially if it's empty) while the rest of the people sitting around the edges just watch you (but hey if you're drunk, it doesn't really matter). I want to say that me and my roommates were easily the youngest people in this club. I think the average age of the clientele last night was around 30-40 years old. WHICH ISN'T A BAD THING - it was actually super fun. Super ethnically diverse clientele, and I appreciated that the DJ could recognize who and what age group was out that night because he mostly played hip-hop/rap from the 90s/early 2000s (aka my favorite era of hip hop, I don't think there was one song played that night that disappointed me - classic 50 Cent, Usher, Montell Jordan, etc.) The dance floor stays pretty empty until about 11pm (but literally if you're out with your girls, you know that your squad holds up the dance floor and gets people off their booties!) Around 11pm-midnight there's a big enough crowd on the dance floor but still space to move around and not be sweating on other people (aka the perfect critical mass for a dance floor) - it isn't a huge dance floor, but it's the right size for the number of people that walk through the doors. The vibes are pretty chill, even though based on other reviews I've read it seems like people have issues with security or don't like the service. I didn't receive any bad service that night but maybe this place really just depends on the night? It wasn't trashy nor was it too upscale, and although they say that dressy attire is required, they definitely let people in wearing jeans/ chucks/t-shirts (I would say that if you're a girl, going in with a sundress type/casual dress and booties shoots straight in the middle - Reno isn't a super formal city to begin with anyway). I know in other reviews it says they have a cover but maybe that depends on the night too. I honestly think that with clubs and lounges like these, your star-quality night depends on who you're with and how down you are to have fun. Worthy stop if you're checking out Reno!
