Pro's: The ONLY venue in Reno with live music 7 days a week. Con's: Pillars seem to be just in the wrong place for viewing the band. Bandstand could be larger to accommodate this group, at least. Go back?: Regularly More... Check out this band "The Inciters". Quite excellent and I love their groovy retro 70's flight attendant costumes. Video upload capped at 30 seconds so could not share, but they were great! Drinks are pricey here so don't forget your local Reno players/discount card for 20% off!
sat down at one of the booth seatings on the sides, no service because no one came by to greet or take orders. went up to bar to order our own cocktails. drinks were good and well made. whiskey cocktail was stiff. nice purple lighting, fancy for nightlife. classy date spot live band /singing that night
If you're looking for live music, perfect lighting, large selections of bourbon and whiskeys and great staff you need to swing by. I had the witching hour created by our lovely server Lilia! It was made with widow Jane paradigm rye whiskey, with an house-made brown sugar and toasted pecans, paired perfectly with the pecan praline. It was smooth strong with a slight undertone of sweetness. Definitely will be returning again
First time at Terrace Lounge. I did like the open area and decorations of the place. We took a seat and the waitress came over pretty quickly since it was a weekday night. Live music was playing which was nice and added to the ambiance. We had a 2-for-1 cocktail coupon so we used that on a Dunkin' Fall cocktail and Yuzu Pineapple Paloma mocktail. I enjoyed my mocktail and the Dunkin' was strong. The drinks were expensive, but it's the casino. There were two times that we saw people smoking in the area - one person even brought their ashtray (?). I didn't like how the non-smoking area wasn't enforced. I'm not sure if the staff saw them or not but they were still there by the time we left.
Always passed by but never stopped in. Waiting around and decided to pop in. Beautiful and crowded.... Most of the seats are taken.. I'll be back again.. lol!
We visit Reno often and ALWAYS stay at the Peppermill. This bar was never one that "blew my skirt up" until yesterday. We had just arrived from a 7 Hour Drive and we were ready to relax and unwind. Devin is a newer bartender, and really made the experience something that begs you to return for more. He has such an amazing attitude, personality, and outgoing vibe that you just can't help but sit there and continue to visit and gamble and drink! He makes amazing drinks and serves them with class, for someone his age I find that very impressive. Way to go Peppermill for hiring such an enthusiastic young bartender to bring a little bit of life to a bar we always thought was just a little bit dull.
Terrace Lounge is by far my favorite bar in the Peppermill! The gorgeous setting offers circular bar with a decorative floral light arrangement hanging from the ceiling, I mean check out the photos! What sets this bar apart is that you're upstairs, no smoking, and they typically have live music playing. If you want to sit at the bar you can play video poker or if you want to sit in the cozy chairs you can get away from it all and relax. Great taps with local beers and some of the best manhattans and old fashioneds I've had!
Peppermill should seriously consider making this lounge nonsmoking. The cancer suckers already have the entire gaming floor for their stink sticks, how about giving us airbreathers a nice place to chill with the music? Drinks and cocktails are good. As of last week, the Whiskey menu was out of date and prices are not what you'll get on your bill. Also I'd rather get weekly emails from PMill about the bands performing this month instead of lame slot tourneys. The sound quality, musical talent, and variety of scotches are the anchors holding a fourth star here instead of a mediocre 3.

Beautiful spacious lounge! Lots of private seating and variety of bar seating, lounge and hi-table seats. Massive selection of cocktails and nice selection of seasonal specialty cocktails. Service staff was prompt and attentive.
Ask for Kagen, one of the bartenders. He can concoct something great for you. He created the pineapple Buzz. The are now open- June 10- and social distancing is in force. New chairs, new couches, new carpet. Bands not yet playing but still a great place for a beverage. I recommend 4 Roses Bourbon, very pleasant.
Bartenders Jason, Tia, Kagen and others maintain thia bar's elevated craft cocktail status. From Tiki, Classic, Retro, high-end/rare whiskey, simple drinks, draft beer, non-alcohol options and more. I like that I can try the emerging drink trends, enjoy some draft/bottle surprises or just enjoy a well-balanced standard mixed drink. There is live music almost every night here with a dancing floor. There are gambling bar tops at the round bar carousel of liqours. If you gamble, most drinks can be comped. Comfy lounge, couch and high table seating to enjoy server service. Snacks from Biscotti's are also served here. Wonderful screen monitors to watch the music performer or video sceneries. read more
Came out to check a local 80s band and the place was rockin. People dancing and having a great time. Acoustics were grand. I like this little intimate dance venue and bar! Located in the Peppermill Spa and Casino. Always fun and lively! read more
Decent bar menu and snacks. Nice wine list and some craft beers. Really nice in the evening with subdued lighting from a huge chandelier over the bar. Usually casual but a bit classier when the bands play on the weekends. read more

I love this bar! Great decor, tasty well balanced cocktails, video poker, and the best crew of bartenders, bar backs and cocktail servers in all of Nevada. They have a wide variety of spirits available and even some regional ones that you shouldn't miss. I make it a point to come here and drink every time I'm in town. I can't wait for them to have live music again, hopefully next spring or summer. read more

Happy Hour 4-7 PM. Half price appetizers and if you play the machines your drinks are free. Great to get top shelf drinks (can't get those on the floor), not as crowded as the casino floor bars. Appetizers are yummy and come from the restaurant next door. Food service is always pretty fast and the bartenders are always pleasant. Plus.. live music most nights starting at 6PM. incidentally, if you have a Peppermill Players Card, and you are a local, you get 20% off all purchases in the shops and restaurants. Not a bad perk. read more
January 23, 2018 Tuesday - 7 PM for a drink of course Bunch of Yelp Elite's and guest Atmosphere - 4 stars Drink - 4 stars Service - 5 stars Background - Having a drink after Yelp's Arcade Armageddon III. Atmosphere - The bar that sits next to all their convention space. I did not know this place had a name until the day before. It fits the Tuscan theme, but the group just did not feel the huge chandelier did. It is an interesting piece and gave us something to debate. They also had a musician playing, or should I say lounge lizard. A sharp dressed one, but did not care for the music but it was quite enough where you still could talk in the comfy benches they have. Food Drinks - I had a Pigeon Head IPL (India Pale Lager). A beer I have had many times as it is local. I do not know if I got the wrong beer or glass was way too cold, but the taste of the beer was so bland. Service - Our waitress had to deal with a large group coming in and did a great job. My husband and I stayed at the Peppermill for two nights and both nights we relaxing at the Terrace Lounge. I LOVE this place. It has a very cozy vibe. There was a jazz band from Chico that were playing some beautiful relaxing songs. They even let us chose some songs to play! My husband requested my favorite song by Sam Smith, "Dancing With a Stranger." They played it really well, that's exactly why we came back the next day. This bar itself has a lot of different varieties of mixed drinks, specialty drinks, and fancy cocktails. A lot of different types of whiskeys and bourbon to choose from. We ordered an old fashion and chose which type of bourbon we wanted. The bartender was a little misleading when it came to the price. She told us it would cost $10 for an old fashion plus $2 more to add whatever type of bourbon we wanted. (Of course I chose one that was good and pricy one.) but when she charged us for 2 drinks it was around $35 and that was including the buy one get one free cocktail coupon. The other thing she didn't mention to us after we ordered our drink was, the coupon limit was up to $15 dollars only. So it doesn't matter how much the drink cost they will only waive up to $15 only. I was a little unhappy about that, but I'm on vacation, I did not want to argue or let that ruin my night. I just wish they would've explained the use of the coupon and the drink prices better. read more

Nice full bar with a beautiful giant chandelier in the middle of the bar. They have seating around the bar with games and plenty of booths and tables. There's live performance and we got to see Santa Cruz based band The Inciters which was fun. There's a stage and small dance floor. Full cocktail and drink menu with small bites available. Tip: 50% off bourbon with yelp checkin. Though it's located in the non smoking area of the resort, they allow cigarette smoking in the bar but no pipes or cigars. read more

terrace ter·race (t r s) n. 1. a. A porch or walkway bordered by colonnades. b. A platform extending outdoors ... Ok this one is a dimly lit lounge at the Peppermill casino. It's large and round with the bar in the middle so it divides the lounge into several cozy areas. I prefer the area over by the small stage- especially when Milton Merlos is playing- but that's another stalking story. There are couches, high back arm chairs and stool seat. Areas that face the hall and restaurant and an area facing the pool. The tinted windows are a little off color. I highly recommend the seats near Milton, I mean facing the stage to enjoy the view, I mean the performance. So there is seating that fits anyone's style. An enjoyable happy hour with small bites and special drinks with great prices. A lemon drop martini with great pucker power. And a nice selection of wine by the glass For those who don't want to wade thru the casino and smoke, you can sneak in from the spa doors. Keep in mind there is smoking in the lounge. Happy Hour 4-7PM (Monday thru Friday) 1/2 Price apps ... general bar fare. I'm HUGE fan of the steak tacos. Free chips is you remember to ask for them...ARE GREAT! Drinks are free is you're gaming. The gaming is 5 cent minimum but it's spacer than the penny machines on the casino floor. Must better wine than you get in the main casino-unless your at the high roller slots/tables. Music every night. On the times I've been there it's a man and guitar which sets the right mood for a happy hour not a rock concert. The bartender and wait staff are very friendly (Not on a first name basis with any of them). It's a dimly light round bar with loungey banquettes around the perimeter. The dim light works for the space especially if you need a break from the very neon casino floor. read more
