This is an easily accessible casino bar and a great place to people watch. I was there on a particularly busy night and the staff appeared flustered, but always professional. The wine, champagne, beer and cocktail list is solid and moderately priced for the area.

Amazing sights at this lounge, the most beautiful bar top I've seen. Excellent service especially from master mixologist Darawan ! She was fast and efficient with a wonderful demeanor. I always enjoy service that is customer service oriented.

We'd been wanting to try this place since the night before, because I love unique decorations. The drinks were good, although I was expecting something more than what I had. The server was attentive and friendly. Then there was a guy singing live which was a plus because I love live music. We didn't hang around too long, but it was a nice seating area inside the casino. If you're looking to lounge around and enjoy drinks without having to leave the casino, this is the spot.

Great spot to sit back & relax or just watch your favorite team. Crystal Lounge offers nice comfy seating options, multiple TV's, friendly bartenders and gaming. **After dark (weekends) the vibe changes to dance party with some pumped up music.

Crystal Lounge is an excellent spot in GSR to enjoy a drink. It's beautifully decorated, lovely lighting, and has comfortable chairs. Our experience with the service was great. We were greeted right away by our wonderful bartender. She was not only friendly but a master of her craft as well. The drinks were delicious. We were only able to spend a short amount of time as the table at Chickies we were waiting on became available much sooner than expected, but I'm definitely going to make it a point to come back and spend a relaxing evening here.

What a disappointment. Many years ago this lounge/bar was great. Of course it was a different name and vibe. Unfortunately I thought it might still be a cool place. It was not. There are many people that sit around the sitting area that are just waiting around for people from the casino and who knows where else. When we found a couple of seats, we waited for awhile before a cocktail server that obviously was working the casino floor hepled us. We should have just left before that. The bartenders are rude and the vibe is not it. My husband and I joked that we'd get better service if I had just gambled on the casino floor. Also, their website is inaccurate. There were two drinks that I asked for and the server looked shocked. She indicated that they haven't had those drinks in over 10 years. Literally, dafuq?! Of course I was confused and showed her on my phone their menu on their live GSR website (went to GSR, restaurants, menu, etc). She said it's old and not sure why it hasn't been changed. Seriously GSR; update your site. We had to settle for two tiny drinks we finished in a minute, tipped, and left. What a terrible experience.

This place was so much fun live music. The drinks are very good. We had more fun here than downtown Reno at night.

Inside the GSR Casino in Reno, is this cool center bar! With a beautiful blue agate Barton that is under lit! The drinks are legit! The service e was friendly and courteous, and the bar was really cleN! Priced moderate for a Casino! Recommend a stop if you happen to be staying at GSR or are looking for a local " meet up" spot.

Sarah Miller created the Gin-Merry which is a step up from the Bloody-Merry. Absolutely tasty. Her customer service is impeccable with smiles attention and easy going conversation with professionalism.

Super aesthetically pleasing bar. Just the countertops are mesmerizing plus the display of bottles right in the middle. Plenty of seating, both at the bar and couch area for those just wanting to hang out. Went on a Monday night before a loooong 8 hours of gambling... CUSTOMER SERVICE: 3/5 There were two bartenders, the one we got was a man who didn't seem to enjoy working that night. He barely made eye contact with us, placed our drinks and bill in front of us, left for a little, then came back when we had been calling for him for salt like we asked for initially. We still tipped him regardless. QUALITY & PRICE: 3/5 I barely remember, but I'm pretty sure it was about $8 for a shot of Jameson and about $10 for a shot of Patron. With the tip and all, it came out to about $20...for 2 shots. Crazy, but I guess that's normally how much drinks are at casinos yet I've seen a lot cheaper. We missed happy hour by just a few minutes, but still decided to grab a drink here before hitting the roulette & poker tables. We love this casino and have been staying and gambling here for a few years now. Plenty of activities available other than the casino and drinking area. P.S. While gambling, you get free drinks...and that's including hard liquor, wine, and mixed drinks. Hit the slots or tables, and you'd get free drinks while having fun and risking winning or losing those $$$.

A little disappointed about the drinks at the Crystal Lounge. I went two days in a Row. The first day I had a "Cosmopolitan," and it was just ok. Not very flavorful and rather plain. The next day I had a "Margarita," and it was not good. We brought some friends to have drinks, and some had Tequila and whiskey shots. They did better than the ones who got the cocktails. I hate to see a beautiful lounge to be wasted, but they need to get their stuff together and train the bartenders or change the ingredients on the cocktail menu to make them better quality. Again, beautiful lounge, beautiful bar, but the drinks at least the cocktails are not good. You will be better off with a beer or a shot.

We really liked this little spot. Stopped in for a few drinks before seeing Kevin Hart. Emily was our server and she was sweet as could be. It wasn't super packed but there was a good flow and she still took great care of us. Drinks seems reasonable to me. My wine was poured almost to the top... so I was happy. The vibe is loungey with big comfy chairs and a nice bar with seating as well. We were able to bring food in to snack on too, so that was nice. Definitely will be back.

A friend and I had discussed venturing somewhere for drinks and Tipsys was what popped in my head. Low and behold it was ladies night even better. I had saw a cotton candy drink and showed it to my friend and that was all the convincing that was needed! It was the perfect chill and relaxing vibe after a long and busy week. I love the glow of the place and the music was good. There was even security on site which is always good. We were fortunate enough to have Valerie the owner behind the counter, during my very first time to Tipsy's she was behind the counter. Most of the drinks for ladies night were $10, there were some really fun ones that were outside of that that are on my list for next time including a ducky in a bathtub, and even having a cocktail in a purse. I enjoyed chatting and commending Valerie for her and her families' creative business ventures. I loved learning about a new business soon to open- the Social Club which will be on Victorian. I love how more nightlife is coming to downtown Sparks to revitalize the area down there. I had been in the area and saw the signage and got super excited. I even learned that Señor Tequila's was a family member's business wow- so cool! I thought the drink- which was a special - Daydreaming which consisted of mango, passionfruit and prosecco. It was a beautifully served drink and tasted amazing. My friend even asked Valerie for some extra cotton candy and she was sweet enough to serve us extra in cups. Totally would have stayed to try more cocktails but my friend wanted to venture. Can't wait to come back to venture the ducky drink and some other cutesy ones.

A wonderful magic show inside the Grand Sierra Hotel & Casino…read more I was looking for something to do without leaving the hotel for a major conference. I saw that they were advertising this show...and I like a good magic show. It did not disappoint. The sleight of hand and on-stage demonstrations were incredible. I was still banging my head of how they did it or maybe it was the cocktail at the bar that was playing tricks on my mind. As a guest of the hotel, I had a 20% coupon and promptly used it at the ticket office, though I think I should have picked my seat better. Nonetheless, I was in the second row and I was able to get a good look of the magic up close. If you arrive early, you can hang out for Happy Hour, they had some unique drinks including the local standby beers and cocktails...and mocktails for those attending the all-ages show. I recommend seeing this show on a Friday or Saturday night if you want a bit more rambunctious, racy show.

After happy hour ended a bud light and high noon was $18. I can't believe they turned the old movie theater into a magic show theater. I sat there thinking about all the movies I saw at the Hotel and the first time I had a drink in a movie theater so long ago, 1989. It was fun in the bar prior to the doors opening they have a magical experience for adults and kids to set the mood for the evening. Tracy the bartender was awesome! She also works at Blitz during the day. She has the kindest soul and such a people person! It was like I had known her for years. They have a box office where you can purchase tickets. Very hard to hear the gal! They definitely need a microphone to speak to each other. If you think you're going to save a few extra dollars on those service fees - you may have to think twice, just purchase on line. It's much easier. Also, they have a snack bar with fresh popped popcorn $9 -$13 and huge pretzels $14. Chase Hasty and his wife have traveled around the world to over 25 countries sharing their magical talent and ballet dancing skills. My favorite part of the show was when Chase brought out a locked box and Hoisted the box with a rope up to the ceiling and told this guy to watch the box. Later in the show they opened the box, it was a pretty impressive trick!!! One not to be forgotten!! It's a small production but well thought out with couple extra dancers and costumes changes. I love that Chase, picks people out of the audience to help with the show. Maddox was a return kid that had been practicing his magic and Chase let him perform in front of the audience and what is that called "That's Magic!!!" It's nice the performers will met you afterwards in the hallway to have pictures and ask questions. It's a great family night or you can come to the later show at 9pm for a little more risky nocturnal show. I'll have to save that one for another time!

Third, I just like playing nickel video poker in a relaxed environment and when it's at the bar, even better. Drinks come faster that way. Speaking of drinks, they have the well stuff for the rookies who just order a rum and coke or gin and tonic. But for those in the know, all you have to do is ask for the good stuff and they will pour it for you, and they do have the good stuff. Full disclosure, they are a whiskey bar first and foremost, so they have more of that than anything else, but just to name a few others, they do have DonQ rum and Don Julio tequila so unless you are a high maintenance drinker, you can find what you are looking for. It is also worth noting that they bill themselves as a craft cocktail bar, which means they can and will make you a very nice mixed drink, speaking of the high maintenance among us. There are pool tables and leagues are a regular thing here as well as a nice little William Hill sportsbook in the corner. It closes early though, so keep that in mind. There are no less than a dozen beers on tap at any given time as well as several bottle and can options. Plenty of TV's above the bar and Direct TV, so they get almost anything you are looking for. The bar slots seem to be pretty loose most of the time and although I rarely play video Keno, I have seen many people cash out hundreds of dollars on a fairly regular basis playing it. Now for the bad...It is a truck stop bar and that in itself is not a bad thing, but sometimes, well...Truckers can be a lot to take in. Also, you will come home smelling like smoke. Otherwise, stop by if you are in the 'hood and take a look for yourself. Good place to pregame. If nothing else, check out the gun collection throughout the casino and bar, it is worth the trip alone.

I am a professional bar fly and I wouldn't step foot in that place. It went from a grungy bar to a biker bar to an ECV bar. It is currently under new ownership and looking to change that reputation a bit. My husband and I ventured in this weekend to see if it is turning around and it does appear to be doing so, slowly but surely. The entire place seems cleaner and the lighting seemed brighter although still appropriate for a bar. The demographic of the clientele is improving and the bar staff as friendly and attentive. They had a country bad playing when we went and the sound quality was great. Not to quiet yet not overpowering. Drink prices are not bad. They have two pool tables that were in use and quiet a few tables with chairs facing the stage most of which were also in use. The bar itself is pretty long with what I would guess is about 15 seats or so. My biggest gripe about the place is and always has been that they don't have any windows. It feels like you are drinking in a closed up room which you are but it makes it really easy to loose track of time, but I guess that really boils down to personal responsibility. We did notice that the front door as a window now, which is nice.
