You'll notice how well the acoustics sound inside upon your first visit. It's not the largest venue in Reno, but it still has a capacity of about 1,000. There is very limited seating in the back. Like most venues, there is no re-entry. Cargo does provide an outdoor smoking area. There is a separate room reserved for merch tables. Since it's crammed in a small room there are typically lines out the door. The venue itself is clean as are the restrooms. The bar is long and the bartenders are attentive and fast. You won't spend much time waiting for your drinks. Cargo has a good selection of beer/alcohol. They serve Tahoe Blue Vodka which has become popular in the area. I've noticed how attentive security is as well. Depending on the crowd, it's nice knowing they're aware of their surroundings and can react quickly.

Terrible acoustics- low end echo completely overwhelmed the show despite sound crew's attempts to compensate. Bad sight lines- just a flat concrete floor with no seating or rails. If you want to mosh pit it's fine but if you want to watch a performance it's pretty brutal.

Great concert! Belinda Carlisle put on a fun show and was energetic and played some newer songs and…read moresome gogo songs at the end, great show all around very much enjoyed it! Easy getting in and through the security. Cocktails prices high to be expected inside the venue, bathrooms close by. We had great seats close to the stage on the side. Only problem all the really tall people that had to stand and block our view even when we stood up! Nugget "security" didn't clear the aisle towards the end of the concert and people were coming up and blocking our view even more by standing in the aisles. Not cool when we paid for better seats. Other then that loved the concert!

We sat in different locations and got two completely different experiences. Both shows were low turnout, not sure why, but my suspicion was a combination of low advance advertisement and particular acts who peaked in the late 90s. The bars seem to be plentiful enough to keep even the busiest of concerts moving well, and the bar we went to served a good white russian. So my tips on this venue would be to be very careful about where you get your seats, you could find yourself in front of huge loud speakers and hate your experience. Row 24 is right behind the sound booth and could hamper your view. Getting more centered and closer to the front will probably get you the best sound and view combination. Hoping they bring in more good quality acts in the future.
