My brother and I saw this place on Yelp…read more When we arrived the ambiance was like a divey sports bar. We decided to go for it and I'm glad we did. I had the Gambler Steak Burger with garlic parmesan fries. My brother got the Blackened Salmon Ceasar Salad. I was surprised when the waiter said "good choice the salmon here is delicious". They have wild caught king salmon delivered twice a week. We split our food. The salmon was as good or better than any piece of salmon I have ever had. It melted in your mouth. My burger was cooked medium to perfection. Super juicey and delicious. Among the best burgers I have ever had no joke; they grind their own meat. The hand cut fries were really good too. Service is friendly and attentive. Great beer selection and plenty of TVs to catch the game you are after. We liked it so much that we went back and ordered the same dishes the next day and they were perfect again. They passed the consistency test. Yes two days in a row; thats how good it was. I looked at the bad reviews and it must have been off days for those bad experiences.

Wings are a 10 here. I personally like the XXX sauce, and recommend it if you can handle spice…read more Even if you can't, the wings themselves are just fundamentally perfect. They probably use corn starch instead of flour, because they aren't overly breaded. Shoutout to the prep workers there (whatup Zoe!), because the food is like crazy good, hot, and fast. For most of the food, they have this insane rotating grill that you can see from the street. Super cool operation Steak salad is a must as well. It's so refreshing! It's got a balsamic dressing, some bleu cheese, and either raisin or dried cranberry and maybe walnuts. I don't actually know because I shovel it down my throat lol. Burgers are the best in the area. Even their less popular items are very well done. Recently got a sausage and peppers sandwich that was as good as what I routinely make at home. Atmosphere is amazing. All the employees go above and beyond. I usually sit at the bar and play any of their video gambles. You win some, you tip extra, you leave happy. You lose some and get some beers on the house. I'll go there if I go to Nevada beaches, or if I want to catch a game. South Lake resident and I generally avoid stateline for it's crowds but I'll head up to Lucky Beaver just for the food. I'm assuming they do PPV MMA fights which is another excuse to show up going forward Shoutout to Bruno as well. Awesome bartender. There's also a few awesome gals who's names escape me at the moment. It's a super chill place while having a great vibe and energy The other patrons are just fun people, it's easy to have a conversation with the guy sitting next to you. It's a well known place but I think it's still a hidden gem amongst all that chaos lol. For a 24 hour place, it's very chill. Never had a bad experience. It's good for hanging out with friends but I wouldn't hesitate bringing my nieces and nephews and whole family there. Only critique is parking. They don't comp it, but all parking is paid now at the casinos, so it's no surprise, that's just the standard.. I think if you get in and out in less than an hour parking is free, so keep that in mind. You can also park further away at other free parking areas and walk.

My favorite place to get a cocktail in Reno…read more They have a unique "Old Fashioned" with buffalo trace bourbon, moroccan sugar, coconut, tobacco bitters, dehydrated pineapple. It really does not taste anything like an "old fashioned" but it's very good and my usual go-to. Ambiance is cool. Has a very Edgar Alan Poe vibe mixed with an alchemist/speakeasy. They have a small patio as well. Service: top-notch mixologists/alchemists.

Love the quality of the drinks as they absolutely put effort and time making quality drinks with quality ingredients. It's relatively small inside so I can only imagine it could get packed in there. We had several drinks and every single one was perfection! The bathroom is the cutest and they have the coolest speakeasy door that the employees use to get to the back (not for the customers). My rant..I'm not from the area so I had NO idea what this place was when I walked by. It looked cute so my husband, myself and child walked up the steps and they sat outside while I went to check it out and see if this was a bar/club/ restaurant. I walked inside and instantly got the death glare from an employee. I instantly said omg I take it this place isn't kid friendly.. he rudely said no. I wanted to clarify and confirm even outside ? He said no. I apologized and they left but the vibe and way he said it was definitely off putting. My sister and I decided to stay for a drink while my husband/child went to walk around. Usually I don't give bad costumer service a chance.. but I realllllllly wanted a drink that one of those others customers were drinking. If this place had better costumer service. It would be a 5

Wide variety of alcohol. Step out of your comfort zone and let them make a drink for you with your favorite spirit. The wall is full of selections from around the world. They do not have a beer selection. Have your valid ID ready no matter how "young" you are. Everyone is carded. Bouncers are there at night and will make sure you get to your car in the lot if needed.

We visited The Chapel Tavern in Midtown Reno and it was genuinely one of the best experiences ever…read more The bartender was fantastic and made the visit memorable by creating custom drinks based on our alcohol preferences which was such a fun and personal touch. We had two very different tastes (vodka and tequila) and she nailed both drinks perfectly. The bar felt clean, welcoming and comfortable even with its edgy vibe. I also loved the tarot cards they provide! I think they may have been intended as coasters (lol) but I kept mine as a souvenir and now use it as my bookmark. It's become one of my favorite little keepsakes. Location and parking: it's on a main strip right on the corner with a small parking lot but there's also accessible street parking in the neighborhood. I highly recommend it and will definitely return anytime I'm in Reno

One reason why I love this place so much is how connected this place is to the community, where there are solid connections to different organizations if you're interested in that. For a social night, there's nothing missing! There's countless games and if you are overwhelmed, you can ask for recommendations and they got it. The drinks are pretty solid too, with lots of choices. I love getting to try out different games before committing to getting one for the family.

To put it lightly, I was pleasantly surprised about this affordable, fun game spot. Not to mention it's an easy option for a second date. To start, you walk into an expansive amount of board game options. The walls are lined from floor to ceiling with any game you can imagine! There are seating options for your group at a table or just have an intimate evening at the bar. They have a bar with beer and cider on draft and a few canned and non-alcoholic options. You won't find hard liquor, which will keep things from getting too messy. If you've played Uno with a spirited group, then you can appreciate this. Staff is friendly and helps you with any questions you have. You may want to reserve your space since almost every chair was filled on a Wednesday night. It's a cozy atmosphere that is absolutely worth experiencing with your friends.
