The food and service here was amazing!!! Very nice dining area inside for us. We had grilled sea bass, breaded chicken cutlet, and risotto.

The pizza comes uncut. This is the margherita pizza. Tasted like canned tomato sauce. You literally taste metal. YUCK. No basil. WTH?!

STAY AWAY! Far, far away! Absolutely terrible pizza. It was so bland. I've never had to put salt on pizza before, ever! I feel bad for my daughter. This was her first "Italian" pizza and it's a joke. Here's the biggest punch in the face- they charge you a "cover charge" for use of the table and silverware. Good lord!! The reviews seem terribly suspicious. People mention the staff being nice and helpful. I call BS on that. Every waiter I saw looked miserable. None of them ever smiled or looked remotely happy. There must be some deception going on. Buyer beware.

Good food, but slightly salty... Good flavors and very filling. Service was good and very attentive as we were greeted on entry and were waited on throughout the meal. The Ambiance was good and appeared my a true authentic Italian restaurant. We also had a Margarita Pizza which was huge and the Shrimp Tempura with a Tartar sauce.

I ordered a salad. It tasted old and I do not recommend. I had to add salt/pepper and it still tasted bad. The service was HORRIBLE.

I ordered a salad and it tasted horrible. I had to add salt/pepper and it tasted disgusting . It had no flavor whatsoever. The server seemed annoyed. STAY AWAY FAR AWAY! and the service fee was $2 each person.

What a nice experience. We noticed Cucina Nationale on our way to Termini. It's just a block or two away from the frenetic Termini area, but a world away. Our server took exceptional care of us. Check out the Nightly Specials. They're an exceptional price for this part of Rome. We tried pizza, steak, salad, and tiramisu. All were delicious. The restaurant has a full bar as well as beer and wine. No complaints at all. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and food.

Yummy Italian food with friendly and quick service in a casual atmosphere! We had a margarita pizza, a spaghetti with bolognese sauce and spaghetti with a plain tomato basil sauce. All were delicious and hit the spot after a long day walking around.

We came upon La Cucina Nazionale on our last night in Rome. The restaurant was around the corner from our Hotel. The restaurant is very big and there seating both outside and indoors. We choose to sit inside to avoid all the smokers. They took 5 minutes before anyone noticed us. We had to ask for the waiter to come to our table. When he came, he was awesome. What I like about La Cucina is the menu offers a lot of diversity with onion rings, hamburgers, steaks, pasta and pizza. On our last night in Rome we were tired of all the carbs and wanted something different. My wife and I ordered the minestrone soup and chicken with potatoes. The soup came out too hot to eat. But it tasted very good. The chicken was delicious. We were both pleased with our meals. Overall I would give La Cucina a 4 star rating for quality and price.

Half roasted chicken with salad and potatoes if your going to eat here ask for extra balsamic reduction to flavor things up a bit.

Well, it's nothing to write home about. If you have the time to go somewhere else I would suggest it. If your looking for something quick and somewhat ok then this is your place. The potatoes were over cooked the chicken was good as long as I swiped it in the balsamic reduction that was on my plate (definitely ask for extra of that) the salad was crisp and fresh but the only thing they could have done to that was give it to me wilted (I would have sent it all back) I think the chicken and potatoes came out of the microwave) it didn't take very long for it to come out at all ( just a guess). Servers were pleasant and my wine was good. Tomorrow is another day.

We were lucky enough to grab a table for lunch. We had a margherita, pepperoni, and a burrata with prosciutto pizza. All three were outstanding. The crust, the dough, the toppings - everything tasted fresh and came together perfectly. One of the best, yet simplest meals we've had. They also offer salads, though we didn't try any. The two behind the counter were fun and friendly. They take your order, ask where you're from, and then shout out your location when your food is ready - a really fun touch. Bonus: our table had a USB charging station, which was a really nice surprise while out exploring the city. There's also a small bathroom in the back for customers. This one really hit home. Definitely worth a stop.

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

Seating area was very small. I was seated in walk way area and it was a bit busy with people going in and out of restrooms. Ordered Carbonara, Genovese and Aperitivo. I had Carbonara for the first time and I m not a big fan of it. I have to try it again to make sure if it's me or the way the dish taste. Genovese was ok, beef stew was inside of a bread. Aperitivo, I chose spritz which came with refreshing cocktails and three little fried pizza. Overall the food tasted acceptable but wait time for Cabonara was long. It must have been like 30 minutes. I was done eating everything and had to just wait for that. The restaurant was small and this is a classic popular dish. I don't think they should take this long.
