I think this is now called Happy Crawfish. I've only ordered Crawfish from here, so my 4 star review is regarding the Crawfish and the restraunt. I ordered at the counter. The food came out quick. The crawfish tasted just as good as any other place. Maybe I've had better a few times. The atmosphere isn't amazing or anything. I think this place is good and deserves 4 stars. A good option for crawfish. read more

This place is small, when you walk in you'll want to order your food first at the registers & then seat yourself. The seafood boil was good but I think the star of this place were the beignets, I stopped in 1 more time after my first visit just to get another 2 more orders of beignets! Heaven on earth!! read more

The place was so empty when I got here. Crawfish was not pleasant and smelled horrendous. It seemed it was dead before I got here and they just boiled it as soon as we ordered. It was really dirty too. Service is so-so. There was an egg (?) It looked so moldy and black, definitely not worth $76 of my money. read more

Walked in, walked out. Lady was on the phone, did not greet us or acknowledge us till we were standing there looking at her! She was on the phone but for the prices they were charging, I expect a lil customer service! And place looked pretty dumpy! Tables were all beat up and chairs looked really old! 4 to 5 monitors and they were all dark? I am guessing they were to show the menu! Spend your money elsewhere! read more

Happened to know that my friend owns this location in Baytown (LA Crawfish is a franchise by the way!) when I was in Houston in January! I get to try the crawfish pho that seems to be people's favorite on Yelp. Finish the bowl so fast because it is so full of flavors. There are a bunch of small crawfish, all peeled inside, and the broth is so tasty with a thick layer of garlic butter floating on top! I ask to try the sauce, so they bring out a small bowl of it to dip the crawfish with. And I end up adding a spoon-full of that sauce in my pho, too! Pictured are a big bag (3lbs) of crawfish in Garlic Butter sauce (same sauce that they use to add flavor to the pho broth. This one is very spicy, so I try only one crawfish!), 1 small bag of the Hot and Sour sauce, some Chicken Wings, Waffle Cut Sweet Potato Fries, Cheesy Crawfish Rolls, and Beignets. I didn't try the wings and the fries so couldn't speak of that, but heard the wings were a bit too salty. Overall, I'm very surprised and pleased with the experience! The best part is the crawfish here is live all year round. 5 stars for the crawfish pho alone at this Baytown locatio from me! read more

Came here for lunch. Easy to get a table with no wait time. Staff was friendly. A few of us ordered the fried shrimp basket. For lunch, the portion was plenty. Loved the seasoning they used on the shrimp. A little different than your normal friend shrimp. And the fries in the basket were waffle crispy fries, with lots of seasoning.. sooo good! I can normally finish fries, but this basket j couldn't, plenty to eat. Another friend had the garlic noodles. It smelled great and she liked the taste, but said it is very garlicky and had to brush her teeth before going back to work . Good overall. read more

The restaurant is located right next to the new ramen and poke bowl place that just opened up Which is actually closed on mondays so we came here as a second choice. Remembering that the last time I was there (2 years ago) wasn't worth my time or money, I was hopeful that it would be a different experience this time around. Nope. Still the same disappointment. I wonder how they stay in business? Because the food is definitely not good. Every time I order something I'm always just disappointed because it lacks flavor, especially for a place who claims they are "Cajun". And don't even get me started on the service. So again I ask, how are they still in business?? Just close down already. Bring a better restaurant to the location cause this ain't it. read more

I paid $86 on 02/25/2022 at the Wallisville Road location. The Crawfish were so dirty and had not been purged. They were disgusting and the wings were burnt and dry and just nasty. I know crawfish and these were probably dead before they were cooked because most of them smelt so bad. I guess the owners do not care about quality of food. I really wish they would've reached out and giving me a refund on this mess. Do not go here you will waste your money and probably get food poisoning. read more

I really was looking forward to having crawfish on today. The seasoning was amazing but the problem is that the crawfish was not fresh. They taste as if they were frozen. A waste of my money. The corn was bland as well when it comes to the taste of the corn itself, the season and the butter on the corn was good! I have been 2 other places for crawfish and this was the only place that the crawfish taste as if it was frozen and the only place that the crawfish were so small. read more

Had my order delivered, no utensils, drink that was ordered was not delivered as well. The 1# of shrimp in garlic butter and 2 sausage links were packaged in a plastic bag together with the garlic butter. A knot was tied in the bag and then put in a paper bag then in a delivery bag. Of course it leaked and everything in the bag was covered in butter with no way to pour it out cleanly and no way to eat other than reach in to bag. Big mess. It was good but not good enough to go thru that again. read more

Really nice atmosphere! The cajun spicy crawfish was seasoned hot, but the heads were dry. They give a plastic table cloth to eat on, so less clean up. Can't complain, it just didn't make me go WOW. Corn and potatoes were ok, but ala carte. The fried crawfish were ok, but did not have the crunchy breading...was fried in cornmeal. Over all, was filling and did the job. read more

But a hello, how are you, how can I help you? Would be much better than your sour face attitude. ZAMNN THIS PLACE IS THE SHIZZ! Haven't had time to write a review, but they deserve a good one for feeding me well over 93728 times LOVE: I've literally tried everything (not guilty at all..) Great food, awesome staff, spectacular service, and amazing environment. Food: my favorites are hands down anything with shrimp. Love the extra sauces they call enhancements for their seafood! YUM get the shebang- garlic butter mixed with cajun! Hot&sour flavor is also my fav. Poboys and pho are unique. I always come in and get oysters as appetizer, then a main entree, then beignets for dessert (to die for, I finish one all by myself...) Service: So nice!! And so quick! When I go somewhere to eat, I'm hangry so I want my food asap. They always help me out when I need them. Environment: man oh man, I am literally eating on the sea. I really like the theme they have going on. I'll share with y'all a secret. Idk if anyone notices...but my last visit I looked around and saw a tiny turtle in the shark's mouth! 5 stars for that turtle itself. Also, their lighting is cool. read more

**This is a 3.5 star review based on a to-go order.**…read more I'm a sucker for old school Americanized Chinese food, and this place hit the spot on a recent Tuesday. I don't get across the bridge very often, but I knew that this joint is a beloved local dive with good food. So I took the bait and experienced quick, accurate, and polite service. This place is not expensive, but I'm still not used to paying over $10 for lunch. (My problem. Not the restaurant's.) The egg rolls here are decent. I'm willing to bet that they aren't rolled in-house, since they aren't the short, fat versions that are overstuffed with cabbage. The fried rice is average, but fine. The General Tso's Chicken is seasoned very nicely and came out hot and fresh. My only issue is they actually use white meat! This is actually a great thing for 99% of the population, but I'm a dark meat guy. Finally, the hot and sour soup here is way above average, with velvety strands of egg, crunchy bamboo shoots, fresh mushrooms and a broth that someone actually gave some attention to. If I lived or worked around the corner, I'd very likely be the Yelp Duke of this place. Their recipes are really solid, and the service is spot on.

Right after I finished my food, I pulled out a chunk of plutonium and started consuming plutonium. The meal was so good that it felt like the natural next course. Nobody questioned it, and I appreciated the judgment-free atmosphere. The décor was nice too. There was a little sailboat tucked away that made me think, "Ahoy there, Dean," for reasons I can't quite explain. Overall, outstanding food, great service, and an unforgettable dining experience. I'll definitely be back. Six out of Seven Stars.

Our servers were attentive without being overbearing. They checked in on us throughout the meal and cleared away plates we were finished with, which kept the table nice and tidy. We tried a few different dishes along with a Thai tea. One little heads-up: their Thai tea comes with brown sugar syrup. I wasn't expecting it, so I initially thought they had brought me the wrong drink. Once I realized that's how they make it, it actually made sense! The other dishes were flavorful, and the spice levels were right on point. Overall, we had a really nice experience and would definitely come back. Next time, I'm going straight for the noodles!

To my surprise they have their own version of brown sugar boba. good flavor just not the default brown sugar pearls like i like so i wasn't too into it. Overpriced frozen food warmed up, or over fried in deep fryer and served in plastic bags by indifferent teenagers. Condiments available from central bar to be spooned out of a common container. Unwashed workmen who bring in their own beer and screaming kids at the table next to you. Fast food done very wrong. read more

I'm from Houston where there are so many great crawfish restaurants. While I was in Baytown during my business trip, my coworkers and I stoped by the LA Crawfish Baytown. Oh wow!!! Pretty good place. Too bad they bleach their chicken because it comes in green. Oh well. I guess that's what makes it sooooo good. Oh and they don't use gloves but that's okay too. I'm pretty sure they paid the health inspector off but that's none of my business. read more

I did see that crawfish is on the menu and our daughter had a combo of it with shrimp, potatoes, and corn. For $25.00 thought it was a rip off. Unfortunately our waitress didn't listen when I placed my order to come with fries because my plate came out with the rice. I had to get up to mention this because I couldn't get her attention.
