Had this place when i was younger and didn't care for it. I finally went back a few months ago with my sister and boyfriend and LOVED IT. As a recent boba enthusiast i saw this sign and HAD to stop by. The place isn't too big. Nice size lots of seating ! there's a small area w books and crayons and flyers of local businesses. A little warm but that's to be expected in boba shops I've noticed. The staff were very sweet and worked fast on our orders. We got 2 large bobas for $15. Most are listed for about $5.50 for a regular size. so very good price wise. I ordered a chocolate milk tea w brown sugar boba. To my surprise they have their own version of brown sugar boba. good flavor just not the default brown sugar pearls like i like so i wasn't too into it. I'll probably go back and try something else since the menu was HUGE. So many options of teas, milks and fruit. Definitely something for everyone here. Nice quaint area , very quiet. But definitely I got the vibe from most people working here that they didn't really want to serve me, and didn't really like me, and one of the males in particular seems to have an issue with me - just the kind of competitive type thing going on, just making fun of me for my clothing or taking photos or something, but I didn't care. Still, it's a boba shop, if people are not supposed to come in and ask questions in order drinks at a boba shop, what's the point of a boba shop. I've always been treated badly by certain small-minded folks so after all these years I'm used to it, but I'm also not afraid to call it out when it happens. The products are good though, and they would have just about got a 4 stars for the Honeydew Milk Tea if they had treated me a little nicer. I called at 745 before i went they close at 8 i arrived at 750 as we walk in the 3 girls looked at each other and made ugly expressions towards us walking in behind me and my daughter was a family as well. She walk up to cashier and tells me " we are no longer taking orders" i was like ya close at 8 its 752 and she said well we are done cleaning, i was lile okay give me the owners number, she made a ugly attitudr face and said ok well we have no bobba i asked for 2 signature milk teas and she hands me with an attitude again gives me 2 unknown drinks. I told her no maam these are not mine. She tells me well thats what you get thats what u ordered. Horrible attitute started yelling at me. So i replied with its not my fault you are in a Rush to go, and u got my order wrong. She rolls her eyes and tells me i wont fix it its over 8 pm. I told her i will call tomorrow and talk to the owner. She said I DONT CARE, CALL HIM. And walked away laughing. Horrible Customer service. It's unfortunate they chose to not fill our large Tarro Milk Tea Boba and Passion Fruit Tea Boba. I've never had this issue at any other Boba Tea locations, it was quite shocking to see a no-ice order be left with so much room in the cup, that it almost made no sense to even pay for the large size cup. Would advise others who want to get what they paid for in tea to look elsewhere in Baytown for locations that don't cheap out on out on quality paying customers who pay for the sizing of the cup. read more

Would not recommend to anyone in the Baytown area. Was automatically treated with disrespect by a white female employee with glasses. Not sure of her name, but she was larger than her coworkers. It would be wise to have customers only input their orders at the kiosk going forward if this is the treatment customers will receive. Her attitude was unwarranted and came out of nowhere. Super cute fruit and milk tea place a little into Baytown off Main St. If you get paralysis by analysis get ready to be shocked because they have so many options! I told the super sweet lady taking my order it was my first time and she answered all my questions and explained the different kinds of boba they have. I ended up getting the Minty Mango. She explained it as a smidge of mint with mango and that's exactly what it is, more mango flavor but a subtle minty linger. It's nice and refreshing! I have gone to Tea City twice now and today was my 2nd time. The first time I went, I had an amazing experience, super nice people, and drinks were great! I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie with strawberry boba. This time, i ordered milk tea with regular boba and also tasted wonderful. Oder came really fast and no wait! (there was no one else there at the moment). Super affordable! There are also a few snacks there too which I love if I'm hungry at the time.
