I found LA Carpet through a FB ad. Nasser was very professional when he came to my house to measure to provide a quote. He explained my options and the differences between different levels of laminate flooring. Once I decided to go with them, I was scheduled quickly. The installers did a beautiful job. They had to demo tile and carpet. There was more flow leveling needed than anticipated but they still got the whole job done in 4 days. The results are beautiful! They did all new laminate and baseboards throughout most of our house. The transitions to the carpet in the bedrooms and to the tile around the fireplace added a very professional looking detail. My mother had LA Carpet install new carpet in the upstairs portion of her home. Farid came out and took the measurements and brought samples of the different colors she requested. He was very easy to work with, after we agreed to have the carpet done he told us it would take roughly 10 days to start the job. He called in 2 days and had the crew there the day after that. LA Carpet is advertising a 50% off sale so I called and they sent out one of their representatives to do an estimate on my kitchen... From the get go, their representative was arguing with me and telling me the changes I wanted to make were too expensive!!! I said I wanted butcher board for my countertops and he said it's a waste of money... I asked if they can refinish my kitchen instead of doing a complete remodel and he said refinishing my kitchen will cost the same and won't look as good... I told him I wanted a stainless steel sink, oven hood and hardware for the cabinets and he said I had to buy all of that... he didn't even have all of his samples to show me!!! He spends several minutes writing on a note pad instead of a company itemization form and hands it to me... it says LA Carpet offers 3 financing deals... 60 months, 120 months or 240 months... Here's the breakdown... Kitchen Cabinets 12,880 Countertop 6,610 Back Splash 3,740 Hood Installation 1,500 Waterproof Laminate Flooring 3,882 Grand Total 24,730.00 I have a very small kitchen and he quoted me almost 25K... He left and a kept staring at his quote and realized there's no mention of their 50% off deal do I called their Rancho Cucamonga office and told them what happened and I asked if the total would actually be around 12K with their 50% deal... They had the estimator call me back about 30 minutes later and he said he offered me the 50% off deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I then said so to remodel my kitchen without their deal, it would cost me almost 49K?!?! He told me he offered me a fair price with their 50% deal and just before I hung up on him, I told him he was out of his mind!!!!!! I almost forgot... he told me it would take about 5 weeks to remodel my kitchen!!!! This is one of the worst scams I've ever had to deal with!!!! read more

This carpet company is amazing. I started to look for them in a panic when I looked up the installers Home Depot had subcontracted. They used my previous measurements and had my desired carpet within 7 days (a week prior to Christmas). The installation was better than expected. They did the master bedroom, nursery, and office, including moving all furniture, removing and disposing of old carpet in less than 3.5 hours. We needed the new carpet badly and our baby learned to crawl shortly after. I do wish it was plusher, but I'm honestly not complaining. Also the manager made a follow up call to ensure my satisfaction. That's unheard of these days so extra points for that. WORST experience ever ! our assigned rep was FARRID in Rancho Cucamonga . His lack of communication to installers / plumbers on what we wanted for our bathroom remodel caused this to be a nightmare ! He is rude and unprofessional . Always ordered materials he wanted versus what we asked for . Our bathroom tile installation for shower was the worst and all I kept hearing was this is how it's supposed to be . Making excuses left and right . They overcharged me and their advertising is false. BEWARE they are expensive and inexperienced and have the worst service ! I have never worked with a more unprofessional business in my entire life. I gave it 1 star because I have to in order to write my review. It was awful from the very beginning. No communication, timelines that were not met, and even worse customer service. I signed a contract so that they could renovate my kitchen back in June 2020. It's the end of October 2021 and I'm still having to contact customer service to get someone to complete my project. Their response: "Your cabinets and countertops were installed." I've attached pictures of what they did. They hired people who were not qualified for the job and they are telling me that they did what I paid them to do, LOL! I paid over 15k for this renovation and I regret every single dollar given to them. I would have rather paid 20k and gotten a much better experience and quality. Do NOT hire this company because all they care about is money and not their customers. They get your money and hire a sub contractor. Might as well go directly to the source. read more

UPDATE: Had the gas company come out on an emergency visit. My stove was leaking. I am lucky that my house didnt blow up. With the safety implications surrounding an unqualified individual messing with gaslines I would have expected a bit more urgency to fix the situation. They refused to send someone out to look at it, heck, I didnt even get an apology from them. Instead they pat themselves on the back saying "we went the extra mile for you by running flooring under your stove". TLDR: Moved my stove without authorization. Did not put it back properly, now I am left trying to figure it out on my own because they lack accountability and professionalism. They claim to have in-house installers, but that does not seem to be the case. If the installers were in-house they would be aware of what they are capable, authorized, and licensed to do. The installers moved my oven. They are NOT LICENSED to do so. Also, I specifically said DO NOT move the oven. They moved the oven, but didn't put it back properly, now it is protruding 3 inches from the countertop. The claim that it is a piece of metal that is preventing it from moving back any further. That is not the case. The oven was in the proper location before. A simple look behind the oven will show you that the gas line is crimped and what is preventing the oven from moving back any further. Their customer service representative ORTENCIA was terrible to deal with. She tried to make assumptions based off unclear photos that the installers were correct and that there is a piece of metal blocking the oven. What she is claiming to be a piece of metal in the photo is the reflective UL sticker on the cord from the oven. She is not qualified to make these determinations but decides to do it anyways. This is a gas line with serious safety implications. The very least they should have sent out a representative to make sure everything is ok, but they danced around it and refuse to send someone out. Now I am talking to FARIT. He claimed that they "went the extra mile" by moving the oven. I told him that it is not considered going the extra mile when you "perform work that you are not authorized or licensed to perform." Farit has a terrible attitude and said things to me like "if you could pay attention" and "im glad that you can recognize that youre not the technician". The lack of accountability with this company is insane. DO NOT use them, go with a professional. read more

I was looking for a place that could help me remodel are bathroom. So I used this place and boy what a mistake. I went there and picked out all the material on November 15 2020 and they still are not even done with the remodel. They have 5 different people that come in and do one part of the remodel. I also had to buy all the faucets, hoses for the faucets knobs for vanity and so on.I spent $17,000 dollars for this nightmare and I will never do it again. I am still very unhappy with the job. When the plumbing was put in under the vanity they didn't finish it off. The pictures show it. And the cabinet door is still warped. I don't suggest using this company at all. read more

LA Carpet has been our go to store for flooring. Few years ago we needed carpet for upstairs and the installers did a terrific job! I would like to mention Nasser (salesman) was great, friendly and funny. Fast forward to recently we had our whole house upgraded to SPC vinyl flooring. Again Nasser was our salesperson for this. He provided outstanding customer service and is knowledgeable when it comes to flooring! The SPC installers were great! Even though there was minor issue (leak) when the washing machine was put back, Nasser sent a plumber to remediate the issue! Good job! read more

I am very sorry to write this review, but I must. My carpet was installed in 2019. It seemed fine except I did notice the padding they brought seemed a bit thinner than what I thought I paid for. Nonetheless, I went ahead with the install. The installation was quick and appeared well done. Well in 2020 I started to notice some rolls in the master bedroom and they just got bigger. I didn't call them until 2021. So in 2021, they came out and stretched the carpet in this room., it seemed fine until I notice deep indentations that did not come out with fluffing where the furniture was placed. I had inexpensive carpet in my home for 20 years and this never happened. Okay I gave up until in 2022, I noticed 4 more rooms had also started to roll up! I called and went to the office. Again they were very receptive and sent another crew out to stretch carpet. This last time, the crew left my home very messy and I noticed a line right in the middle of the carpet in my loft. They either did not stretch well or there is a gap between two pieces of carpet.??? If others have had no issues, that's great, but LA carpet needs to be consistent with their service and customers. I am so disappointed I chose them. I do not recommend this company for carpet installation. read more

L.A. Carpet was fantastic for us. In 2017 we re-floored our house with mostly hard flooring and some carpet. The price was excellent, the product selection was more than enough, the products both have been outstanding, and the installation crews, exemplary . My next flooring project will be performed by store and their team. The installation crew, specifically Miguel and his team, were incredible. They worked tirelessly, professionally, and with such care. Communication was constant and the quality of the work is still, to this day over 2 years later, picture perfect. I was and am still impressed with Miguel and the crew who tore up tile, flattened out cement-like grout, worked endlessly and without complaint, and respected my house and family as if they were their own. This review is extremely overdue but at least this now carries the weight of 2 years and still amazing work. Absolutely terrible! Worst company I've ever done business with. Unprofessional contracted installers only worried about making the dollar and moving on as quick as possible! 2 weeks after install separating planks of LVP in every major area of our home. Not to mention the 6 separating stairs along with the nail sticking out of the 5th one from the top (that cut my 2yr old's toes). So all that 2 in only weeks and here I am 16 months later still fighting for repairs. Now I'm with another torn up house for over a week with 4 kids and barley a kitchen. It is a shame such a "reputable" company would need to have a lean threatened against they're Bond before they would even show up. Now after 16 month they still are only trying to repair half of what needs to be done and didn't even show up 2 days this week. $20k we paid for a $2k floor with a $50 company. Biggest rip off con artist POS business ever! The photo below is hilarious in its self bc/ all that will need to be pulled up again and the sub floor leveled or the planks won't last 2 weeks again. Take some pride in your craft people! Also beware of the tricky salesman that is going to bring you samples of a 2mm floor on a nice 1inch thick deceiving piece of wood plank. Buyer beware!!! cheap products that don't last more than 3 months after installation. My husband and I purchased a home back in November 2021. We had contracted LA carpet to install new laminate flooring throughout our home. Needless to say, 3 months later the floor starts lifting , cracking sounds throughout the house and separation between planks.. we have contacted LA carpet since March 2022. For 2 months we have been getting the runaround. They have sent someone to my house three times twice from their installers who actually told my husband the floor was defective!! And once from a third party inspector to determine what the cause of their faulty defective floor was. Now, they want to bring an additional person to come in and remove patches of the floor before they even decide on how they want to proceed. How about you fix my floor LA Carpet! .. you know the one you've already gotten paid for. read more

I wanted an estimate for the new carpet and was not planning to move forward as quickly as I did, however, Farid made me feel comfortable and assisted me with selecting the right color palette that aligned with my decor.
