February 20,2025 Customer Service Department Pacific Sales & Best Buy Dear Customer Service Team: Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Customer Service I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the customer service I have experienced following my order of a refrigerator from Pacific Sales, customer service and delivery by Best Buy. The purchase was made in mid-July, with the full payment completed promptly, and I was assured that delivery would be within two weeks. Unfortunately, the entire experience has been fraught with consistent delays, misinformation, and incredibly poor service.Initially, I received a call two weeks post-purchase notifying me that the refrigerator was damaged. Since then, I have been caught in a frustrating cycle of being told the product was unavailable, requiring me to repeatedly chase updates every week. Finally, in mid-December, a two-man crew arrived but claimed they needed four people to complete the installation. After rescheduling for January 4, 2025, the four-man team then stated that a valve in front of the installation area had to be replaced, which I managed by hiring a contractor, despite his assurance that the valve was fully operational.The subsequent visit necessitated paying for cabinet trimming because the team claimed the refrigerator would not fit, though the contractor confirmed the fit was adequate all along. This pattern continued with claims of a back valve replacement required, again, leading me to unnecessarily engage and pay a plumber. Most alarmingly, after finally receiving what should have been a problem-free installation, the product unveiled scratches on one of the doors. Communication concerning the repair of this lasted over a 30 minute wait on the phone, only to be disconnected. After another attempt, contact was made, yet effective resolution remains unmet. As of February 21, 2025, seven months have passed without a functioning refrigerator. This issue caused significant disruption, compounded stress, and unplanned financial burdens. It is my firm expectation that I receive not only a fully operational new refrigerator promptly but also compensation for the multiplied inconvenience and financial impositions. I trust you will appreciate the severity of the matter, and look forward to an expeditious resolution. This experience highlights an urgent need for improvements in your service procedures. I have to let you know that my husband and I had the most pleasant experience in your store on 2-27-13. We were greeted with a bright smile and a hello, and no one hounded us the minute we walked in. We were able to browse on our own and then Warren Pierce was there to assist us in finding our 30" slide in gas range. The store is so beautifully laid out, all of the slide in ranges were all lined up so that we could compare and decide what we wanted. Quite a large variety, more than any other store we visited in the last 2 weeks. To my surprise the store actually had what I wanted in stock!! Mr. Pierce was pleasant, professional, no pressure of any kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The two people at the front desk were extremely helpful and courteous as well. We will tell others about how we were treated and will tell them to ask for Mr. Warren Pierce. I say this with all honesty and sincerity. The best experience of any appliance store in Rancho Cucamonga. And the best part of all is that I received my appliance within 48 hours!!! We will be back again! Thank you!!!! not sure why my post was removed but here it is again Where do I start!? This place is amazing. The minute I walked into the store I was greeted by an amazing team. The vibe of the store was incredible. Unknown to them I had just purchased a kitchen package from Home Depot prior to stopping by Pacific Sales. After 5 minutes of talking to the handsome manager Luis, I realized Home Depot was a mistake. He paired me up with Kevin who went over several options. I ended up selecting a different kitchen package and cancelled my order with Home Depot as soon as I left. Listening and watching to how Luis interacted with his team you could tell he truly cares about them and it's a prime example of why the customer service is so amazing here. This place just gained a customer for life. I purchased a big screen tv by toshiba about a year half ago from pacific sales and Kevin the sales manager recommended I also purchase a warranty which I'm not a big fan of doing. About six months ago my tv took a dive and it was a pain in the you know what trying to get toshiba or the warranty company to repair or replace the useless tv ...I was getting the run around both accusing the other that it wasn't their problem it was the other company who was responsible to replacing the tv. Long story short, I called Kevin at pacific sales in Ontario and within two weeks or so he was able to get the warranty company to agree on replacing the tv and pacific sales even delivered it to the house no charge actually the replaced tv was even better than the one I originally purchased. Kevin, your a lifesaver...had I purchased this tv online I would never have been able to resolve this issue in fact I probably would still been looking at the same old blank screen. We bought all of our kitchen appliances at Pacific Sales but when it came time to buy our kitchen fixtures such as our sink and faucets hot and cold water dispenser etc, we were really fortunate to have Jankellee Sheward assisting us in making our choices.Thanks to her we bought a solid stainless steel faucet and soap dispenser instead of ones that were just plated.We wouldn't have known the difference if she hadn't pointed it out to us.We took a long time making our choices and changed our minds several times, even bringing things back ,but Jan was always patient and helpful,you would have thought it was her kitchen too. Pacific Sales is very fortunate to have such a knowledgeable friendly and helpful employee.We feel like we've made a new friend and you can't put a price on that. I had never purchased a refrigerator before and was completely overwhelmed with all the brands, prices and options. For months, I had shopped at numerous other locations and websites (Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon Prime, etc...). By luck, Silvia Maryah was working the day I walked into Pacific Sales (Ontario). Silvia did a great job distilling all the options down to the crucial few that were most important to me and then showed me the "best fit" refrigerators. She new her stuff. I was able to find one in my price range and made the purchase. For the refrigerators in my price range ($1,000 -$2,500), I found Pacific Sales pricing equal to or better than the competition. In addition, their maintinance contract was the best, bar none (they use Best Buying they are great too). I can't begin to enumerate the things that Laurie Estrada from the Ontario Pacific Sales did to make my customer satisfaction one of the top experiences I have had when purchasing appliances and fixtures I have recently moved to the area and had many plumbing needs due to the remodel of a jack & jill bathroom into two separate bath ensuites. Laurie assisted from the start with recommendations through many obstacles throughout the remodel. We are finally "installed" and complete and I am very happy with the outcome and the quality of the items I purchased. My wife and I were shopping around for new kitchen appliances . Pacific Sales was recommended . We went and were greeted by Sales associate JOSH BEJUNE. We showed him our floor plan and things started moving along. There were many options and models to choose from . All I can say is ,if anyone has the knowledge , personality , and , excitement about the products he sells , it's Josh . Our purchase was brought about as a result of a water pipe break in our home . It was a long process , and dealing with Josh made things a lot easier. And many thanks to JANKELLEE in the hardware and sink department . We knew about PS for their selection,we had bought previously,our salesrep Josh amazing person,full on information guide he works in the appliance dept,and explained the products very well and we got the right one.He helped us from the time we purchased in march & had delivered in june.We are very happy to have worked with him,always greeting you with a smile.In the kitchen & bath area they have laurie,who is also very informative in her field and she really worked to fit within our budget with all our bath fixtures and vanities.I am so happy she was there to help us with a big smile.I called her,for we recieved a toilet with broken lid and she said,she will take care of it. I recently purchased an entire kitchen of appliances (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave) and a washer and dryer. I had a great experience! Ryan helped me pick each item and was extremely knowledgeable about every single product! We received discounts on every item and got a package rebate too! Pacific Sales does price match however I did shop around only to find that they were indeed the cheapest place to buy what I was looking for. I would highly recommend Pacific Sales and will be back for anything else I might need! I can't wait for everything to be delivered and installed!!
