I purchased the box spring and the foundation to put it on. Went buying a new bed. You always have to buy new sheets and two pillows. The credit check was very efficient and very fast. One of the best purchases with this was the Mathis home rewards so I purchased that too I walked downstairs with Brian to the credit department and finalized everything. Mathis will not help you or own up to any mistakes made on their own part. They want you to double check their sales team's work and make sure they order the right things. You know, because that's your job as the customer. Save your time and your money and shop anywhere else. I'd rather buy a cheap Amazon piece of furniture, because they'd at least treat us with respect. This place sucks and I'd give 0 stars if I could. Don't ever shop here. People are pushy, rude, and don't care to treat you like a human being.

I had always glanced over this location, and on this day happened to be in the market for some soil. The lot was thriving, not too crowded. People were looking about and soon a staff member took the time to show me some of their soil options and potting mixes. I settled on the organic palm and cactus mix. It was not dry upon opening, which I'm glad it was not, so far it's proving to be a fairly good quality. There's still some leftover in the yard. I saw many plants there. They had some pink aloe vera, along with a wide selection of succulents, which was nice to see. I had my eye set on something a little bit different though, an elephant bush. I knew they had some because some of the arrangements included elephant bush. So I just had to ask!Well, to my surprise they were more than happy to give me a longer tour of the southern part of the nursery, where they had far more sizes, big and small. I got to see some gigantic ones that I never expected to encounter in larger pots. Thank you Vic! It goes without saying I was impressed. Speaking about Vic, I just wanna say, many of the staff members were welcoming and went above and beyond to give me what I wanted. I was really impressed with Vic's extensive knowledge on house plants and his ability to help me find the size of this wonderful plant. Where I feel that most sales people would push you to buy a particular one item, Vic offered me choices, which I appreciate 100%. It's safe to say that type of salesmanship demands respect, and I will probably be coming back when I'm ready. Outside of my own personal experience, I noticed they have a variety of pots and fertilizers for all your growing needs. Always nice to see an assortment of pots and accessories for the home garden folk. Furthermore, Vic recommended a fantastic product as an addition to my watering routine, which within days has brought tremendous results. The plants absolutely love it, it amazing to think that this trip offered the plant, the service, and now the reassurance that if ever needed, they will be there to help answering any questions. Unfortunately, 11:00 AM came and went with no sign of Anthony and no call or text letting me know he was running late or needed to reschedule. I understand that schedules change and things come up, but completely missing a scheduled appointment and then not responding at all is disappointing and unprofessional. On July 03, 2020, I was pleasantly surprised to find that approximately 1/3 of Perla Nursery was paved (right half from entrance), and they had handicapped parking. [Yup, us handicapped can shift around on the ground and get 'er done...gardening, that it. :-)] Now, the other two-thirds (left of the entrance) is off in a section with gravel...not wheelchair friendly. It's full of the larger trees and greenery under solar shading. (You can send someone to take pics so you can see what's there.) I saw so many, many trees and plants I did not have on my wish list that I immediately revised it. Yes, it is kind of a hassle to go and find someone not with a customer to find out the prices of the plants because the prices were not on the pots. Other stores like HD may have a few of the plants like these, but I didn't see a single diseased or blighted plant (unlike HD, even at my last visit)...and the choices! I was after 3-foot trees and plants. There is a choice of 5-gallon plants and up. I ended up with a pomegranate tree, a passion fruit vine, and a large bag of mulch (the owner called it "new soil.") [Incidentally, this mulch kicked donkey b*tt! I've never bought such a high quality mulch before. It wasn't half charcoal or perlite (the white styrofoam looking stuff) or coarse wood. It was closer to high-quality black soil. It made my yard dirt look like sand.] It took time to get rung up because there were so many other customers asking questions, but once I did, the owner was very cheerful and friendly. For the three items, the bill was $80. Because of the number of things I bought, that had included a discount. She explained when to fertilize. ("Don't because they were just fertilized.") Incidentally, both my pom and my passion fruit are 16 days in the ground and looking great! [If you are curious, I used the bag mulch and a little slow-release fertilizer mixed in, lightly, under the plants.] Would I go here again? OMG, I cannot wait! P.S. If you are impatient, go to HD and take your chances.
