After what happened to me, I can't help but question whether the ingredients were stored properly, whether the cooking surfaces were clean, or if the equipment was even sanitized. I ordered a carne asada torta with fries and a drink. The taste seemed fine at first, but shortly after finishing, I started feeling nauseated, my head was pounding, I had a strange aftertaste, and my stomach felt bloated and unstable. It's now day 5, and I'm still dealing with the same symptoms -- this feels exactly like food poisoning, and it hasn't gone away. What makes this worse is that the restaurant was completely empty when I walked in. I should've trusted my instincts. Came for lunch this afternoon, the place only had two sets of customers. Probably because it's so hidden in the corner near The Dollar Tree. It's just a hint to let others know which one is better tasting. Anyhow, they also serve potato with hard shell tacos, which the potato inside are actually mashed, and they're tasty. Other items I've tried are asada tacos, shrimp tacos, asada quesidillas, asada nachos, and their shrimp ceviche, too. All of these items are good as well. Everything is served with a large hot roasted chili pepper and salsa. But basically, I go there for their fried fish tacos and potato tacos. Their quesidillas are good, too.
