I came on a Friday night and it was pretty slow. Was a. It nervous that maybe it wasn't going to live up to my hopes. The spot is close to where I live, and it's always good to have another go to restaurant. I ordered the 1/2 chicken and the yucca fries. The chicken was good, juicy, tender. The yucca though. The yucca was on point! I'll def be back... read more

Nothing to brag about. Chicken was meh, arroz chaufa wasnt good. Sabor Inka is 1000 times better.

If you want authentic, you have to come here! I don't know what they do to the chicken, but it is SO tasty! It is flavored & cooked just perfectly! I had the chicken salad wrap. This is not your standard chicken salad - it's with avocado & it is delish! It is mostly chicken, not a bunch of sauces & other things. I ended up eating just the chicken out of the inside of the wrap because there was so much I didn't want to fill up in the wrap & miss out on the yummy goodness of that chicken! Also had the plantains, which were also cooked perfectly. My wrap came with fries & a side salad. The dressing on the salad was quite flavorful & it wasn't just a bowl of iceberg lettuce! Will be visiting again soon. Also - I had water, but they are serving Creature Comforts now. Local craft beer is always a good thing! read more

Worse place to eat . I will never set-foot in this shitty place . Waitress telling me what to eat .

Food is tasty and prices are good. My husband had the steak over a bed of pesto pasta. The steak in thin cut and very tender, the tangy pesto sauce went well with the meat. I had the chicken mixed with fries, sautéed tomato and sautéed onions. It comes with a small side of white rice. The sauce on my food was soy based, not overly salty. We both enjoyed our dish. We had a friendly waiter who seemed to be nervous but nice enough. There was a lady with long hair who I think was the manager. She sat at a table flirting with 2 guys the entire time we were there instead of visiting guests or helping clean up dirty tables while the waiter ran around. It's a casual diner style restaurant, nothing fancy but food was good. read more

La Brasa Rustica - Peruvian Near Me - Duluth, Georgia

The food is good, but the service is such a joke that we won't be coming back. It's a shame though because I loved their yucca fries. We got there and wasn't aware that you seat yourself. We were standing by the door, while the only server was walking back and forth processing checks with no second glance at us. Finally, after her third time stopping by the register I asked "Do we seat ourself?" She says "Yes, you can sit anywhere". ALRIGHT. Thanks for letting us know while we stood there for a million years. She was quick with getting us menus and our drinks and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Then she ghosted us. She literally went to every other table except ours for the whole meal. Her English wasn't the greatest, so was she worried about the language barrier?? Even though there was a white family behind us? I had to wave her down for the check, even though we were clearly finished based on the plates we stacked. I'm not sure why it took her 15 minutes to process the payment! As soon as we got up to leave, she was quick enough to grab the bill. And then she had the audacity to say "Thank you!" in the most cheery voice. Where was that during our meal? 10/10 do not recommend. read more

Service is very slow. I had ceviche with shrimp and my friend had flounder fish ceviche and did not care for it at all. Was not marinated long enough. The flan dessert with quinoa was definitely different and yummy. read more

The food is awesome! I love to go there and eat ceviche de pescado. When I went my first time I ordered something called papa a la huancaina, and I loved it. read more

The peruvian roast chicken is right up there with Viva Chicken in Charlotte, NC, and the Limon Rotisserie restaurant chain in California, it's that good. The meal comes with 2 kinds of sauces, as well as 2 sides. Hubby was very happy with his chicken salad sandwich. The hostess came by our table frequently to make sure we had everything we needed and offered additional sauces. The dining area offers tables and booths in a comfortable setting. read more

I had the lunch grill chicken special for Wednesday. For $7.99 it comes with papa la huacayina it's a creamy Peruvian sauce over potatoes in a bed of lettuce. My chicken which by the way was seasoned delicious came with white rice, salad and fries. Everything tasted awesome. Don't forget to get the yellow sauce it's spicy but great. Great service clean place. Will return read more

Very authentic Peruvian place. Lots of trinkets and objects from Peru. They even have Inca Kola. Ordered the lomo saltado. Was not disappointed. Wait staff was friendly and it wasn't crowded at lunch. Their fries are amazing. The chicken smelled good so probably get that next time. Loud Peruvian music is only reason for 4 stars. Kinda hard to eat and talk over the music. Not bad music. Just loud. read more

Food is pretty solid. Chicken isn't the best Peruvian around Atlanta but it's not bad either. Their choices of bread, wrap, produce all taste like a top notch joint. If their chicken had a bit more flavor, their fries weren't just frozen from Sysco (or somewhere like that), and their prices were a bit lower they'd be a solid 5 star spot. read more

All their food is great . My favorite is lomo saltado . It's a very tender soft steak with onions, and fries like in a fajita style . And a side of white rice . read more

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. I will visit again. I love Peruvian food and this was legitimate. I had ceviche and fried rice. My four year old son also enjoyed! read more

The chicken is juicy, flavorful and delicious. I have done takeout of a full chicken once and eaten 1/2 chicken lunch once. Some secret method of slow cooking over coal with special Peruvian spices. The atmosphere is fair at best, but the chicken makes it well worth going. The 5 stars are for the chicken. Please buy some chickens from them. Im hooked and need them to stay in business! read more

Went for lunch today and sorry to report that it was very disappointing. The place was empty but thats ok, it means good service right? Absolutely not. Server was not very helpful about menu but took our order. Food came in about 10 mins, we both got the 1/4 chicken lunch special. I received a tiny chicken leg & thigh that was spiced nicely but was unusually small. It came with sweet potato fries that i assumed would be fresh but were actually frozen crinkle cut that were awful. My mate got a partial breast/wing that was also tiny and opted for yucca as a side which he described as bland and probably frozen. These dishes were $8 each and quality and quantity were very disappointing. The server never came back to our table despite having no other customers. No drink refills, no checks on the food, no check. I was hopeful for unique Peruvian food and a nice lunch experience and got neither. And I am even willing to overlook that this is operating out of a closed down Wendys. This is really a 1 star but I am throwing in a pity star because I dont think the operators have clue. Dont go here. There are plenty of better lunch options in the area. read more

This place was awful. From the smell when you walk to the food. Rice was horrible. The chaufa also was bad. Tasted like it was 3 days old. read more

Service here was mediocre, but friendly. Prices are good drinks are Stout, food was delicious. I would have gladly paid more for a larger size, especially on the family. Other than that, no complaints read more

The only reason I gave this place a 4 is because the ceviche was made with celery (apio) and it strongly overpowered the dish. Ruining it of course and making it taste awful. At first I thought the fish was bad. An authentic Peruvian ceviche recipe does NOT include APIO (celery). On a brighter side the rest of the food was DELICIOUS!! read more

nice and fast service. friendly staff. i ordered the Lomo Saltado, it was a little salty. the taste was kind of getting aggravating after eating. i thought the portion was small but it turned out to be fine. it was my first time there, i will be back read more

Service fast and friendly. Food was delicious a little pricey. Variety of entrees good. Didn't have my favorite beer, Budlight, but that won't stop me from coming back. read more

Bad service! Even for takeout... food sat on the counter for 10 minutes - even the cook was wondering why no one was taking it.

I had to give a star in order to post a review but it deserves zero. I visited this restaurant few weeks ago, and felt such revulsion that I could not write a review back then. Please avoid this place at all cost, unless you like cockroaches in your ceviche. This place is filthy and definitely food is prepared under unsanitary conditions. read more

Great food. Conveniently located and good service. Like their anticuchos and roasted chicken. Love their yellow pepper source.

So normally I'm not to harsh in my reviews -but this really deserves 2. Came in for lunch today after driving by en route to another restaurant. Turned the car around and decided to give a go . We came in with visions of lomo Saltado . Upon arrival we find that's it a seat yourself kind of place - okay with that . We find a seat and we grab some menus . As we start sifting through the somewhat smallish menu we see a lunch menu consisting of chicken , wraps and a salad - no lomo saltado! Waitress finally comes by and gets our drink order - we ask if we can get the lomo saltado as we we it's in the dinner menu . She tells us "no it's not available right now " . Now the menu has some really beautiful pics of other Peruvian food but none of its available right now - during lunch . So after she comes back with our drinks we ask for the bill . I'm sure the food is good (if you can get it ) . We left and went to eat at our originally scheduled place . read more

I was thrilled when this place opened! The chicken is amazing!!!!!!!! I would never have thought that fried rice was a thing in Peru, but in glad it is - the best fried rice in town! I also love the selection of Peruvian specialties and try one each time I'm in! read more

Food was great. However, very disappointed that we were charged $6 more than what we authorized on our card for the server's tip. Our group came in Jan 13 for lunch. We ordered $44.50 work of food. Total bill after tax was $47.62. My husband left a tip totaling $10.38--nearly a 22% tip off of the total amount. We expected to pay $58.00 total. Imagine our surprise to when the charge cleared our account for $64.00. This company charged us an additional $6.00 on the tip, which again was unauthorized. I called last week and left a voicemail with the company and still have not had a response. I understand mistakes happen, but La Brasa Rustica has not tried to correct their error. Very disappointed. read more

I love Peruvian food. But this restaurant was a disappointment. Not only was the server not trained well, the food portion was too small compared to the price. The food wasn't as tasty too. Very disappointed in the restaurant. read more
