Tender chile verde with Peruvian beans and rice

Always a consistently grand experience! The service staff is warm and welcoming. It's seems like you've just stopped by to have a meal with cherished family members. Lots of windows allowing you to enjoy nature, wildlife and beautiful sunsets. So many great things on the menu, but enjoy the chips and fresh made verde and roja salsas. A special desert this time was a fresh made cheesecake with raspberry coulee!

During a girls weekend trip to Bodega Bay, we decided to come here because we were all craving chips and salsa. Its off the highway, not really hidden but if you blink you could miss it. There is plenty of parking. It was a Friday night and it was pretty busy for the dinner crowd, but luckily we were able to get seated right away inside. They had both indoor and outdoor options. My friends got the taco salad and the enchiladas suizas. I got the carne asada super burrito and we all shared the churros. Service was great, our food came out quickly. Our server was friendly and helpful when we asked her questions about the menu. I really loved their salsa roja that they served with the chips! The burrito was good, but nothing particular about it that made it stand out. The portion was big too with lots of fillings. My friends enjoyed their food. At the end of eating our entrees we decided to get dessert and we opted for the churros. I am not a big churro person, because normally you get the frozen and then warmed up variety, but these were authentic. It took a little while for the churros to come out because the server said that they were making them fresh, AND they were. Hot and filled with chocolate and with a serving of vanilla ice cream in the middle of the plate. They were delightful! We weren't rushed and we were able to have dinner in peace.

I'm obsessed with this restaurant and frequently drive the hour + to get the crab enchiladas! There is some magic in this kitchen and the love & craft pours out of all their dishes. The fish and chips are also excellent - deep fried on a whole other level while the fish inside is so tender and juicy.

skip this place. the mole poblanos and huevos rancheros we ordered were disappointing. the chicken in the mole was so dry, and the sauce was just sweet, lacking any real flavor. the huevos rancheros were also underwhelming and bland. we walked over without checking reviews and deeply regretted it -- should have stuck to the cafe next door.

Service was great, food came out fast, just missing that wow factor ... Had chile Verde and a wet burrito that were both great. We were the only patrons in the restaurant which was nice. Our server was a little overbearing but delivered great service. It was probably just because we were the only people in the restaurant. Good beer selection, wish there were more specialty cocktails. Overall, cool spot on the outskirts of Bodega Bay. Will probably return during my next visit to Bodega Bay!

We camped at the RV park behind this restaurant and at the spur-of-the-moment laziness attack, we decided not to cook and just walk over to this joint. Now, my friends had been to this place previously, but this was my first. I wasn't all that hungry, but once the food arrived, my buddy had the mole' dish, his wife the wet burrito and I the meat quesadilla, all were good. I consider myself a competent judge of (Anglo) Mexican cuisine living in San Francisco as we have a ton of very competitive south of the border eateries of various levels and this place can hold its own against the city-folks. My only criticism is their price, they charge beyond their pay grade, but then again, they're one of the only game in town which has very few players. So, I give them three-points as this place doesn't quite agree with me in terms of food/price value. The food is very good, but it comes at a steeper price than it should. P.S. My buddy's beef mole' came with a lot of great sauce, but to harken back to the 90's, "where's the beef?"

This place is so freaking good, period. Just come here to eat. Every single time we come to Bodega Bay, we eat here. The food is so flavorful, fresh, and delicious. The service is amazing and their chips are so good! I don't know forsure but I think they are made there because they are so good and the green sauce with it is delish. You honestly can't go wrong with any dish here. Also my hubby got the special, half chicken, literally came right off the bone that's how soft it was and so much protein packed!

Weed to discover this place while driving home. Absolutely delicious. The service was great. Definitely recommend I love. Great place to take a rest and get a great lunch. The views are amazing.

Nice and reasonably priced Mexican restaurant just by the road with very friendly service.

Loved the burrito! I made mine with Carne Asada, pico de gallo some green salsa inside and some cheese. I always pass on rice and beans inside my burritos. It was really good. We also had a chili Riano with an enchilada with the rice and beans and that was really good. Serve beer and wine. It looks like clean. We used to come here go back in the 80s with our kids and 90s different restaurant but same location. Some good Mexican restaurant bodega before Salmon Creek..

The crab sandwich is real fresh, I kinda wish they toasted the bread, but would still recommend it. It came with a few slices of carrot that seemed random IMO, but still ate it. Also, you can't go wrong with the fish and chips! Service was straight-forward - you order and pay at the counter, then take your number to seat where your food is delivered. Most people were sitting outside on the benches, which is where you wanna be, especially on a sunny day with a view of the water. But there are also chairs and tables inside. Parking can be tight around here. The lot outside the restaurant is very small, and the street/back parking signs can be confusing.
