Room #2... very small with no view but clean and comfy bed! Sat outside to enjoy the view.

Love this place! Clean and well kept. Friendly staff as well. Perfect spot to view the bay.

Location location location! Stayed in the Water Tower (RM #WT), small room and bathroom but my boyfriend & I made it work. Very clean and bright, cute lawn chairs out back to hang and enjoy the view. Friendly check-in, plenty of parking and easy to get into town or onward.

We love Bodega Harbour Inn! Stayed there in Oct 2022, room 15 suite. It was great! Loved having a full size fridge and there were also pots and pans, etc. There was a little dining table and a couch plus the 2 bedrooms. And it was dog friendly! I would book it every time I stay there in the future if it's available. In fact, we're going again in October with family and I wanted to reserve it but we raved about how great it was so much that one of our family members reserved it before we could! Our last visit we stayed in room 5, 2 full beds and a little 2 chair dining table. It's also a dog friendly room which was great since I brought my little dogs! It's been quiet both times we stayed there and the great thing about Bodega Bay is that people are so friendly, from employees to other travelers, that it makes the experience so much better. Room was clean, I didn't feel unsafe there. It's also really close to both little markets and a few shops and cafes. A few notes would be that a lot of the rooms have a step up into them, they would not be accessible for a wheelchair or someone with mobility issues. My mom has bad knees and steps are hard for her but luckily there was a handrail and we were able to get her in and out fairly easy. Theres a few rooms that are flat but may not allow dogs so Just make sure you check. Also, it's an older inn so don't expect everything to be in perfect shape. There's gonna be some scratches, paint chips, but honestly, it still looks well taken care of. It's not going to be top of the line like a Hilton but it definitely has that local Inn charm. I will note that in room 5, there was no screen on the window. Rooms don't have AC, just heat because it's pretty cool/cold there most the time but I'm always hot. I wanted to open the window and let some cool air in but the side with the screen wouldn't open and the other side opened but had no screen. Our door on room 5 also had a gap at the bottom, you could see light coming in under it and my sister was freaking out that bugs were going to come in. We stuffed a towel under it to be safe. . So just be prepared for little things like that. We never noticed any bugs or rodents or filth. Towels and bedding looked clean, some toiletries provided. All in all, none of this is stopping us from visiting again in a few months. We can't wait to be back at the inn.

We stayed here last night. When we got here we asked the price., we were quoted $176.00 we asked if they took pets. Yes and we got room 14, we could not use the toilet all night and was using the porta potty across the street. Then I left a message how the toilet was not working so he gave me the keys to room 11 to use the bathroom after I asked to use his.. we'll we loaded the car up because we were told we had to change rooms, so we did. We went to take care of the room. He then added 57 dallors for washing the bedspread because the dog was in there. Said he she'd on it. I said your supposed to wash then and plus I had sex on it. The he didn't give us any discount on the room for no toilet. I asked he said we got a e0 dollar discount, the room was 215 plus tax. So he gouged me on price. Even the web site said 176 bucks. Then I said your not gonna give us a discount for no toilet and he said the toilet was fine now. I said I didn't flush all night , he said it's working now. I said we won't be staying another night.

Stayed in room 14. Very small but all you really need for a night or two. Nice view from the deck, although the deck is connected to the room next door - not a huge deal. Staff was nice and let us check in a little early! There's also a grass area with lots of chairs to relax and enjoy the view.

#15, Hummingbird II The good news... * The place was spotless and * The bed was very comfortable. The bad news... * There are 5 windows and only 1 opens, * The kitchen has the only TV and your only option is 4 wood chairs and 2 ugly uncomfortable chairs, * If you need an ADA toilet, don't reserve it. The tiny toilet is damn low. * The tub/shower is dangerous. There isn't a matt and the tub is like being on ice.

We stayed in room 1 - the Large King Room with patio. The staff was very kind and friendly. Our room was on the smaller side but enough space. A comfier chair would have been nice. The floors were sloped but it's built on a hillside! Loved our patio view and the great Adirondack chairs overlooking the harbor as well. Very easy walk to the great spots in the Harbor area! It was a great stay! Everything was clean and the room was nicely decorated - not the "antique" feel I read about in other reviews. The bed was FIRM so hubby loved that, me not as much. We enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend the Pelican Plaza grocery store and surf shop.

A Peaceful Getaway with Stunning Views…read more We stayed at The Inn at the Tides in Bodega Bay while celebrating a birthday trip from the San Jose region in mid-January, and we could not have asked for better weather. It was sunny every day with temperatures in the mid-60s, which made Bodega Bay feel like a perfect winter escape. The week before it had been raining like crazy and some areas had been flooded. We really lucked out! The hotel is located on a hill, not really next to the water, but because it is situated on the hill, it has great views. Our 2nd story room on the top of the hill was spacious, quiet, and extremely comfortable. The high vaulted ceiling with a skylight made it feel open and airy, and the layout included a couch and small table with chairs, which was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. We also appreciated having a coffee pot and small refrigerator in the room. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. We saw deer grazing near the bushes and trees, which added to the peaceful coastal feel. The views are excellent, especially from the second-floor units, overlooking Bodega Bay on one side and rolling grassy hills with cows on the other. The hotel is very quiet and restful. Housekeeping was excellent (thank you Grace), and the front desk staff, Evelyn and Tyler, were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The wellness center is really nice with a large T-shaped pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, workout room, and shaded tables for sitting, eating, or enjoying a drink. Parking is plentiful with some covered spots, plus the hotel is right next to a 76 gas station, which is very convenient for that long drive home. The hotel restaurant is directly across the street on the water and has great views of the bay. Seals, birds and an occasional fishing boat can be seen. There is another restaurant closer to the hotel rooms but it was closed during our stay. A couple of minor wishes: the workout room could use a large mirror, a few more weights, and maybe even a Concept2 rowing machine (hint, hint). And the TV in our room could also be a bit larger (I know, were not their to watch TV, but we love HGTV!). Lastly, if you do not want to deal with stairs, request a ground-floor room. There are no elevators. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend The Inn at the Tides. It was the perfect home base for our first visit to Bodega Bay. Looking forward to staying there again ... hopefully soon!

Pros: this was a very charming estate and the staff was beyond kind to both of us and our pup. He was welcome everywhere except the dining room, the pool and spa. The room was very cute and clean. The only downside for me and my allergies is that there is wood fireplace in each room. The bathroom had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was from 8-10 am in the dining room and had a decent meat-less spread. Toast, bagels, oatmeal and toppings, plain yogurt, cottage cheese, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, fruit salad, coffee, tea assortment and juices. The grounds are super cute and weather permitting there is a movie playing on a projector with complimentary s'mores to cook on the outdoor wood fire. Since we had our dog, we didn't use the pool or spa. "Aunt Kay" we interacted with the most and was so kind to both of us and Dio. She made our stay! Not only was she informative but also checked in on us when we we'd pass through the lobby. Dio was a big fan of her. Cons: if you have allergies or are sensitive to wood smoke, this is not your destination. Again, there are wood burning fireplaces in each room and a large fire pit by the movie. The room we stayed at is across from the pool and it can get noisy. You can also hear everyone that walks in front of your room. Along with that there is a lot of wildlife, so you may need ear plugs. If you need to sleep in the dark, the front blinds are going to still let in light, so bring a sleep mask. Update: we got a text that I forgot my socks in the room. They offered to mail them to us, we declined. I don't remember the last time house keeping and the front office too the time to be that considerate.

The room and bathroom are really spacious, clean, and the two king beds are huge in the room. It's a great amount of space for a couple or larger group. Lounging here or in one of the several communal areas is welcoming. The grounds are better kept than many years ago, but there are still some pockets that could use some care. But the reception Chex mix/ wine, movie night with s'mores, lawn games, make the larger property feel cozy. And while I didn't get to the jacuzzi or pool, I wish I had! What made me write this review though, is the gluten free and dairy free options for breakfast. They have homemade bread to toast which had me coming back for seconds. Usually, gluten free is so disappointing, but not here. Delicious! On top of all this was friendly and informative staff. Lovely stay. Hopefully, we'll be back in another 10 years.

I have quite a bit of feedback of this business especially as they finish remodeling and rebranding. Based off the old photos the rooms seem like they have improved a lot so I am hoping they do well overall. Location: 5/5 It's right in front of the beach, you get a nice view of your room faces the bay and there's a small coffee shop, local burgers and hot dogs, and post office next door, also Fishetarian is so close! Great for a coasty vibe and a beer. Check-In/ Check-Out and staffing: 2/5 Upon arrival (around 1pm) we were told our room wasn't ready and we could not check in until 4pm. The lady at the front was very friendly and offered us some chocolate while she processed our payment. Once checked in, process was smooth but what really upset us was the limited staffing they have on site generally. No one is there at check out (11am) and they don't arrive until between 1-4 which isn't good for a hospitality business. Overnight our neighbors were up until 5AM. Drinking and smoking cigarettes on their balcony so we weren't able to enjoy our outdoor space. There was no one to call and notify to tell them to keep it down. They were also jumping or dropping furniture idk it was loud thuds though, so I'm sure the people below them were annoyed too. In the morning we requested a different room and they were apologetic but did not find us a new place and thankfully our neighbors checked out. I really hope Bodega Coast Inn followed up with them because they were an inconsiderate group of adults acting like they were in college. Definitely ruined our night and made the next morning hard to enjoy because we were so tired. I also requested a complimentary night but they ghosted me and stopped responding. The room: 3/5 Beautiful renovated room with a mid century modern vibe. Only complaint is the shower. It was clean but the way the glass half-wall is situated splashes water EVERYWHERE. If they don't address this, they will need to do a lot of maintenance on floor repairs for water damage. We had to lay a towel on the floor each time we showered. The property was also undergoing renovations and there was no noise at night but the spa wasn't operating or in good condition. Generally I would recommend this place. But I hope they staff someone to be available overnight for noise complaints because it can easily become a party room without anyone from the company knowing and guests not having a good experience.

First impressions of the king suite were great: stylish, modern, and freshly updated. Unfortunately, it also came with a side of "Eau de Pine-Sol" so intense it could qualify as a third guest. We opened every window and door in a desperate attempt to air it out, but the scent stood its ground like a pine-scented fog of war. By bedtime, my sinuses were staging a protest, and the birthday getaway vibe had definitely taken a hit. The silver lining? By morning, we could breathe like humans again. Now, about those windows: charming in theory, but none of them had screens. The bedroom window opened right onto a sidewalk, which meant a parade of passing strangers just a few feet away. With no A/C and a security risk that felt more "live stage performance" than "private suite," we ended up sweating it out with the windows closed. The bed also had... character. The headboard was completely detached from the wall, and according to my husband, his side of the bed offered a gentle downhill slope--ideal for sledding, not so much for sleeping. All that said, I actually really like this place. It has great bones and a lot of potential they're actively working on. I'd absolutely come back, but next time I'll book a second or third-floor room, and I'll be calling ahead to make sure it doesn't smell like a pine forest exploded indoors.

You do get a bit of road noise due to the location directly off highway 1, but late at night, the road is not well traveled. The unit is cleaned by tenant's so it's not professionally cleaned. Still, it was not too bad. The unit could benefit from a new bed and perhaps some updated dishware. It would really pop with some new furnishings, but then the price would likely increase. The only negatives for us were the shower was somewhat clogged and we weren't able to enjoy the hot tub because it needed cleaning and was slimy. We booked on extremely short notice, so we can't fault the owner for not having time to check on the unit before our arrival. He was easy to work with and responded very quickly to phone calls. We had hoped to use the available kayak, but ran short on time. If you are not looking for a 5 star, fancy hotel, this is your place. They have utensils, cups plates, spices, and some teas in their cupboards. In 2017 we use the same company to rent a house property on Gull Dr. That home was a very spacious home. We had our kids with us so it was nice to share it with other people plenty of space, open concept and they also had. It was a four bedroom house and it also had a washer and there were two spaces for parking and they also had a gaming area in the garage. For our 10 year wedding anniversary hubby decided to come back to the place we met and fell in love. But this time around he rented Albatramonto property that's up stairs from the original Tramonto property that we stayed at 11 years ago. This one it was almost identical to the original location we stayed at, but this one had a breakfast nook and two split patios. One patio facing the ocean and the other patio facing the tides wharf. The company was really wonderful. They made us a little heart towel and gave us a bottle of sparkling rose for our anniversary. Just be wary of ants, especially during the winter season just don't keep food out in the open or unsealed. If your ant problem gets really bad, then call the company up and they'll come out and spray. The only complaint we really had was the heater they had didn't warm the place enough and it was really cold. luckily, they had layers of blankets on the bed to keep us warm. The sunset are still amazing to watch from the patio. Parking is a little tight for this property. Brianna was the person we had dealt with, and she had simply been nothing but helpful with the bookings. The nice part about this company is everything is done online via email and to check into your property. You never have to go to the office. You can just show up at the actual vacation home and the key is in the lock box. every time you call them, there's always someone there to pick up the phone and answer any questions that you have. we will definitely be back here again in the near future you can never go wrong with any of the properties.
